Emergency Lighting System 1.05

Having an issue where the VCF file and car model name are the same, but once I get in game and spawn the car I have no controls at all for ELS and only my rear tailights will flash on my car. Any help is appreciated.

Hi. I have a small bug that sometime when I stay near a police car, there is a big texture of LED light flashing hovering in the air. I still don't know if it is because of the model or the script. Any help is appreciated!

Does it work with the standard LSPDFR (GTA V) vehicles?

This Mod quite disappointing. I install this with ELS Police Car mod, and the next thing happen is the lights are not showing up.

I know that to fix it just reinstall openiv.asi and asi manager file, and do other reccomendation for fixing, it doesn't work at all.

For me, this mod still bugged as f*ck, and need a lot of improvement.

For me 0/10, cuz im spending whole day try to figure out how to fix this damn police light.

what vehicle are you using? Are you sure you have an XML in the correct location?

I'm using Las Vegas Police Utility pack 1.0.0

For all you who are experiencing issue, I have heard this has nothing to do with the configuration. ELS is not compatible with the latest version of ScriptHook V.

We are all anxious but until the mod is updated, we will have to be patient.

Heck, my Trainer isn't compatible either for some odd reason

oww so that's the reason why my ELS are bugged as f*ck. Turns out ELS is not compatible with the latest version of Scripthook V.

Thanks @JaysWing for the explanation for the els not working with the new Scripthook.

Guess we will have to wait for an els update then

Thank you for that information, i was racking my brain trying to figure why people where having this problem. Plus the normal solutions where not correcting it. Im still on the last version which explains why im not having trouble.

EDIT: I asked a few people on discord if they had they same problem with scripthook. but ELS is still working for them, so im lost. It still works for me also, im on the older version of scripthook.

Can you please update this mod for the newest version of Scripthook V, right now it does not work on the newest game patch.

HOWEVER, ELS 1.0 WORKS! AT LEAST FOR ME. I'M RUNNING V.1.0.1103.2 AND LATEST SCRIPTHOOK.

Can't play without this mod anymore 10/10.

@Lt.Caine  Hi!  Just wanted to let you know of a bug I found; or maybe I just shouldn't do what I did.

My game was crashing trying to load into the story mode (like...RIGHT before it goes into the game world) and I believe it was caused by ME having Quick Saved the game with my lights running.

For one thing, I DID change the XML file for my car trying to experiment.  I wanted to see if I could change which lights came on with which stage and I also wanted to set some defaults so I didn't have to fark around with the ELS panel every time I booted the game.

I DID replace the edited XML with a fresh copy from a working backup and the game still crashed anyway.  Right now, with ELS removed, my game is working.  I made another quick save with Franklin back at his home so that when the game loads it does NOT load my car parked at a P&Q with lights running.

TL;DR - DO NOT quick save the game with ELS lights running, your game will crash when it attempts to load back in.  <3!

Too bad I was just starting to get the hang of ELS. So Given the fact that there has been no update since Jan. should we even expect one, will someone else have to come up with a new ELS?  This is why these patches from Rockstar do more harm than good, I wish I had not let it go through, but sooner or later you have to, thanks Rockstar!

I sorted my issues out with ELS and it works fine for me on the latest everything.  Try loading the game without ELS, then do a quick save as soon as you're in, then return the ELS files back to their rightful place and start the game again.

I am having an problem. None of the lights that are extras with any of my cars look right. they are all dim. unless i get far away from the car. then some start working.  please help

ELS suddenly just stopped working on me, I'm updated with everything

So I tried what was suggested and had a little issue because I didn't delete all of the ELS, but after putting the ELS files back the turning signals started to work, then I noticed the message in the lower right corner under the RPH info, I had this issue when I first installed ELS, it says that they Key Lock is on which is scroll lock by default at least for me. I pressed the scroll lock key and what do you know ELS is working! If you see the same message try the scroll lock button you got nothing to lose.

I have made that mistake, accidentally hit num lock and could not figure out why things where not working.
