Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

Turn off the traffic move feature in els.ini that will get traffic to react normally and not freaking out

Its  part of ELS so how can you. Just works too well and doesn't mix with the fleeing suspects.

Can someone help me, When I blip a vehicle to stop them and I activate ELS, the driver just slams the gas and drives straight. Stops for nothing at all. is this a glitch? Thanks.

Got ELS installed (I guess. Placed the files in the folder specified) Installed an ELS-Compatible vehicle. Told els.ini to use the VCF required. It doesn't work.. What am I doing wrong? It doesn't seem to launch ELS at all. (No ELS.log file for example) (ELS.asi and ELS.ini are in the folder shown. Just not on screen :) )

Great mod. But the new update has a major bug. I can't pull ppl over except with none els vehicles! Please fix!

Cause you have to activate Light Stage 3 before then siren. use my ELS control lines in order to use Q for Light stages and E for siren and R for Siren 2 (WOWOWOWOWOWOW) for intersections IT WORKS!

i think it would be good if the siren would still carry on when you horn. because when you horn it restarts it.

To combat this you could use the double siren feature by pressing 6, so even though your primary siren goes to horn, your secondary still plays.

Try installing VisualV and install the optional 'RadianceV Compatibility' as well, worked for me!

Whenever i go into game, the lights are steady burn, no flash, or anything like that, the menu won't pop up, but i can hear the siren. I've watched many tutorials and tried different cars, and surfed through most of these comments looking for an answer, plz help

Hi Lt. Caine, how do you change the sirens used for each vehicle. At the moment my ambulance is using the same sirens my police vehicles are using. Any help is greatly appreciated! Cheers mate

When i use better ems and call for an ambulance and fire truck half of the time they respond without any lights or sirens (both are ELS compatible)

I have a problem with ELS, after i have asked for ID when on a traffic stop and then go in my vehicle to run it. the car i stopped just drives away like a dumbass hitting things. This is making the game unplayible for me and i need help to fixing it
