After a long wait, I am proud to finally release my LSPD Pack with ELS Style Lighting! This pack now includes a total of 7 Vehicles:

police - 2016 Chevrolet Impala Limited
police2 - 2015 Dodge Charger PPV
police3 - 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Utility
police4 - 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan
police5 - 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility
police6 - 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV K-9 Unit (slicktop)
police7 - 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

Demonstration video:

These vehicles have been under development for several months and are fine-tuned and should be relatively bug-free (knock on wood). The installation package will modify your vehicles.meta to allow multiple liveries for all vehicles as well as changing the handling line for the police and police3 slots. This can be easily undone using the Uninstaller package included in the download. All vehicles feature HD 4k skins made by @TrentMU and possess a variety of extras, including:

Setina Rambars
Stalker Radar Units
Panasonic Arbitrator Dashcams
Prisoner Partitions
Passenger-side Spotlights

Installation Instructions

Launch OpenIV and select Grand Theft Auto V.
Click Tools -> Package Installer.
Select "LSPD Pack Installer 1.0.0.oiv."
Click install and choose whether to install to your mods folder (highly recommended) or directly into your game (not advised).
Launch GTA V and enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: The package installer fails partway through. How can I fix this?

A: The package installer modifies your vehicles.meta to change just a few lines so that the vehicles will be multi-livery enabled and handle correctly. If you are having problems installing the package, please install a clean vehicles.meta into mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ and then try again. A clean vehicles.meta can be found HERE. Alternatively, you can run the uninstaller package included in the download prior to reinstalling the package.

Q: My package installed successfully but my game is crashing while loading. How can I fix this?

A: If you experience crashing while loading, you probably don't have a gameconfig.xml configured to allow add-on cars. There are a few different gameconfigs which different people are reporting as working. You can find a gameconfig.xml to fix your crashing problem HERE, or if that doesn't work, HERE.

Q: I've installed the package but my lights do not seem to be working. They are showing up in the wrong places or not flashing correctly, why?

A: This mod uses a custom carvariations.meta to assign custom sirensettings to each vehicle included. If the lights are not working correctly, another mod you have installed is causing a conflict with this carvariations.meta. Please check all installed mods for a carvariations.meta file (it will be located in common/data/ within a DLC folder). If you have another carvariations which assigns a sirensetting to police, police2, police3, police4, police5, or police6, delete those vehicle entries from it and see if the issue is resolved.

Q: I've installed the package and my vehicles are working in game, but the lights are not bright like they are in the screenshots. How can I fix this?

A: You will need to install a light-enhancing graphics mod as well as set your Post FX and Shader settings to High. I would recommend installing Radiance V.

So due to the GTA 5 update, is this pack going to be updated too? Or can we get a list of files that are modified in the installer so we can update them ourselves at least? The last I remember the installer puts in quite a lot of files (and I'm not sure which ones are just included from the update folder, or if all of them were modified for the car pack?)

So because of that I still have my LSPDFR installation seperate (1032.1 version) and 0.52a RageHook still :P because I love this car pack <3

I have installed everything correctly but when I'm in game and spawn in one of these cars I turn on the sirens and select the second function of sirens and random extra parts start to flicker than my game crashes and it crashes when I spawn into another police car without using the sirens. so my game crashes for two different things.

update. I have stopped the crashing but whenever I use the sirens the extra parts still flicker

Hello! Great Pack but I have a problem. It only installs 4 out of 7 vehicles also the 4th one takes tha place of unmarked cruiser.

You have to spawn in the others via a trainer like Simple Native Trainer.
Police7 = CVPI (I patrol with this one alot :P ) for example you'd have to go to:

Vehicle Spawning -> Spawn by name (at the bottom) -> type in "POLICE7"

Beautiful pack. The only issue I have is that some cars do not spawn with the pushbars and other extras, anyone know how to make them do so?

Best way I've found is to use Simple Trainer. (or another trainer that might do the same thing). vehicle options > vehicle components.

On all 6 Cars the rambar, spotlight, and cage all flash back and forth when code 3. Any fix???

I love the vehicles and the light packages, only problem with it is when i activate the lights i get different parts like the passenger side spotlight, partition and the push bar are flashing on and off with the lights. Also vehicles in slots like police 6 and 7 are not ELS

Same with the flashing parts, also ELS does not seem to work on all vehicles, but the paints did change. Looks like the author hasn't been on site since May, so I think this is done. Uninstalling.

Good pack, Just one thing, What is the best lighting mod i have radiance but the Crown Victoria tail lights are EXTREMELY Bright!

For some reason when I activate stg 1 lighting through ELS the passenger side spotlight appears and disappears. When I activate stg 2 the ram bar and spotlight appear and disappear and when I activate stg 3 all the vehicle extras start to appear and reappear like the extras are flashing. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hey there, I have a little problem with the CVPI that I can't find a way to fix.

The led bars are working just perfectly on all the models but the CVPI remains all white except for 2 leds only, is there a way to fix it? I didn't bother checking up other vehicles since this is my favorite but the SUVs and Chargers I see around do not have this problem.

NVM that, it was due to me changing the numbers of the vehicles in order to see more CVPIs instead of Taurus'. I'll stick to having taurus driving around and me in a CVPI in that case.

HELP PLEASE,

First off, this pack is hands down the BEST I have ever seen, and the auto install, a godsend.

BUT, I am having trouble with the vehicle extras (rambars, dividing glass, spotlights ect.) flashing as if they are a light. I have seen others post the same issue but no solutions, any help is greatly appreciated.

These vehicles only have 'ELS style lighting'. They were released before ELS was even available. These are not ELS compatible vehicles. Don't use ELS with these models or you will get flashing vehicle parts.

This mod does not work with the new ragehook/GTAV Update anymore. Anyone know a fix (no the gameconfig.xmls from the descriptions do not work)?

Same here I guess we just have to wait for a newer update for this mod I hope soon
