To be fair, depending on where you're shot, 1-2 bullets is all that is needed.  If you shoot someone in the head, they sure as hell aren't getting up from that,

@Newfield  Is it possible to get specific?  Such as, shot twice in the arm and they live. or headshot and they are dead instantly? or is that pushing it?

I'd stick with 1-2 shots only.  Even in real life (unless the perp is on PCP), everyone will go down after the second shot.

Peds with armour take less damage. I'm currently working on very low damage for armour

Not exactly, only for arms and legs.

i personally like the idea of this! it makes sense to have suspects go down like in real life...or as close as we can get it. thanks alot and i'll be checking this out tomorrow

11 shots in the leg to put an enemy down is not realistic

Does a shot in the leg kick the ped on the ground ? Like in real life that shoot make him fall on the ground, rise as fast as possible with a wound in the leg and then run away with difficulties. Would you be able to do something like that ?

To be honest, I've heard stories about people getting shot +20 times and still get up and either return fire or try to get cover somewhere nearby.

Not saying everyone could pull this off but if you got the will and the adrenalin it's very much possible.

Yeah ive seen it in videos probably hundreds of times, i think people in GTA standard take too little shots to go down, if anybody here just googled even a handful of videos they would know this
