TO GET THE LIGHTS TO WORK PROPERLY ON THIS MODEL, YOU MUST MUST MUST
INSTALL THE CARVARITAIONS LINE INCLUDED WITH THIS FILE. IT WILL MAKE THE
POLICEB ACT LIKE POLICE WITH THE WAY THE LIGHTS FLASH.

If you know anything about siren settings, just change the policeb to 1.

YOU MUST ALSO INSTALL THE VEHICLE META LINE TO GET THE RIDER TO SIT ON THE BIKE
PROPERLY. IF YOU DON'T DO THIS, YOUR RIDER WILL HAVE THEIR FEET THROUGH THE BIKE.

DO NOT MESSAGE ME ABOUT YOUR LIGHTS BEING DIM, AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE SCREENS, 
THEY ARE WELL ENOUGH BRIGHT. ENSURE YOU ARE USING RADIANCE V AND YOUR POST FX
AND YOUR SHADER QUALITY ARE SET TO MAX.

=============== Instalation ===============
To install the BMW, all you have to do is navigate to the latest patch day
you have in your MODS folder, and place it in the vehicles.rpf there.

For me it would be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday9ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\

To install the CARVAR file, navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpvalentines2\dlc.rpf\common\data
and Install the line into the carvariation there!

=============== NOTES =============== 
A lot of work has gone into this bike, it has been a long time in the making 
and I would just like to thank the guys over at Code Zero gaming, more specifically
Polecat324 and BayAreaBugs, for giving me the opportunity to do these bikes.

This bike is part of a CHP mega pack that I will be releasing at the earliest time it is done.
The pack includes:
                   - 2016 Utility
                   - 2013 Marked and slicktop utility
                   - 2013 Ford F2/350
                   - 2011 CVPI, vector and Liberty
                   - 2010 Dodge Charger
                   and whatever else i can find pictures of!

It took a long time to do because the base model that was crunched was about 
1.7 MILLION triangles, so it was quite the project. 

I always thought that pay walls were fucking stupid, so a huge thanks to the guys at code zero for
rendering the current one on the BMW in the community obsolete, and this bike is also of better 
quality.

The model itself is quite large in megabyte size, but it should not be an issue with anyone's
game as the PoliceB does not spawn on a reoccurring basis.

Once again as i've stated, YOU MUST INSTALL THE CARVAR LINE AND VEHICLE META BEFORE USING THE BIKE!

There should be no problems with the bike itself, it should act exactly like the default policeb.

This model is after the California Highway Patrol, so it has a steady burn and their lights they use
on the bike itself.

There is a template included with the file itself, so you are able to make your own skins for the bike.

The DEV versions of this bike will be released later next month.

I will be releasing a LAPD version with their gun mounts on it later next week.

These are flags, so you want them in the flags line. 

<flags>flags go here</flags>

It should go like this

<flags>FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE</flags> flags should separated by a space. 

Your flags should look something like this.

@Thehurk Any chance to get this templated for the side of the saddlebags, currently it's just the top and many many departments put decals on the side as well. (I know this isn't the same exact model the police use, but at least we can try to get as close as possible.)

Would it also be possible to get a Windscreen templated, there are a bunch of departments that put their logo or unit numbers on the windscreen itself?

That would need the entire bike retemplated, i will consider it when i release my LAPD version. The windscreen i can do for my next release.

Okay for some reason I cant get the bike to act like an emergency vehicle :wallbash:ive edited the vehicle meta file but cant fix it.. it has no siren and plays the radio, ive tried multiple times to fix it but I need help now.. any suggestions??

<audioNameHash>ruffian</audioNameHash>

That line is for specifying what audio files a vehicle should use, and you have it set to use the ruffian which is not a police vehicle, so there will be no police related audio assigned to it.

You need to set it to <audioNameHash />

Or, download the meta at the top of the file page as Thehurk mentioned previously. (I recommend this)

I hope this helps, i use to have the problem with bike didnt have any siren etc. Then i did this.

I took ALL original files for policeb and put them back into my mods folder and the meta files i copy paste from ALL original files, so everything was default for the policeb ONLY!! Got back into game to see i could spawn the default policeb and worked.

Then i did follow the installation guide from this mod and bike worked first time and has worked ever since.

I think i had the problem because i used another police bike before and maybe some files or settings didnt get set as it should for this.

So to all the people who has problems with it, try my way and it should work.

Again, THANK you so much for this amazing police bike. Best bike i ever had in GTA5.

This is the best police bike mod I've ever seen. Great job modders! As a side note, at first it didn't work for me but I finally realized that you have to copy the policeb line from the included carvariation file and add it to the stock one as well as add the line from the "Use this to get the rider siting properly" file. From images & videos I've got a couple of suggestions that would make it better:

Exhaust Pipes: You've got them as silver, they're actually golden, pretty much after 1 month the exhaust pipes from the engine go golden, after many years they turn very dark gold (and slightly brown). It's a result of the heat. It also makes the bike engine area look more realistic, since it's all the same shade of grey.

Front Suspension: They're also golden, with a cat-eye side reflector on it. On the older gen the suspension forks were silver, but these new police bikes have them in gold. 

Disc brakes: I've noticed that the disc is the same colour as the spokes, I think something which would greatly improve the wheels is if you retexture the disc so that they look remotely used, like in the image below, where you have a clear area where the disc comes in contact with the pads. 

Panniers: The panniers you have aren't correct, they're for the civilian version. I guess that's what came with the model Code Zero bought you. The RT-P's have a much smaller pannier, which open at the top, rather than at the sides.

Crash bars: they're on all service bikes, LAPD, LASD & CHP. The CHP have the older generation BMW R1200RT-P, but they have crash bars still. The speakers get mounted to them, they are underneath the panniers as well. This video will give you an exact idea of what the LAPD set-up is. Crash bars included.

See? Golden exhaust pipes, golden fork, noticable disc brakes, crash bars, slimmer panniers. Oh one last thing, there is BMW written on the engine block behind the front wheel, just on the engine block (i've only recently noticed) If you care to add it (or not as it's not significant in any way). It's a good looking bike, but I think those 4 improvements would make it a great deal better. The same applies to the Harley with regards to the brake disc wear.

@SniperA236 It's a CHP bike, it's supposed to have a steady burn light. I'm sure he'll make a fictional one of it, but if he removed the steady burn, it wouldn't be a proper California emergency vehicle.

Nice, one question. Where/How do I add the lines to make the PED sit correctly? I can't seem to figure it out. I haven't installed any bikes before.

The BMW borrows animations from other bikes, as you know the default just doesn't work well. You can download the meta at the top of the file page, just below the "About This File". If you don't want to use this meta because you have custom lines in, take the meta you downloaded from the top of this file page, open the meta, Ctrl + F and search policeb (or just scroll til you find it), copy the entire policeb entry, and paste it into your current vehicles.meta over the previous policeb. Make sure you don't add unnecessary characters or your game will likely crash.

Once i do the LAPD versions of both bikes, they will have the correct mounts, shotgun and AR, baton mounts, radar gun mounts, crash bars, and their correct lighting setup

then you can't stop any vehicles for some reason any ideas
