San Andreas Fire Department Pack - 2.0

A fictional fire department pack based on Fire Rescue agencies around California. Vehicles equipped with Whelen lightning and Steady Burns.

Vehicles included:

safd - 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with Whelen Avenger II;

safd2 - 2013 Ford Expedition with Whelen Avenger II;

safd3 - 2014 Dodge Charger PPV with Whelen Spitfire;

safd4 - 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV with Whelen Freedom;

safd5 - 2012 Chevrolet Silverado with Whelen Avenger II;

firetruk - 2017 Pierce Arrow XT Engine Co. with Whelen Freedom.

Requirements:

ELS V1.05 by Lt.Caine;

ELS does require Script Hook V by Alexander Blade;

OpenIV.

Notes:

All vehicles come with multiple liveries. On all vehicles (Except the fire truck) extra_ten is a pushbar. All vehicles come as Add-on (Except for fire truck). However you can convert them to replace versions. There would not be any support on how to convert vehicles from add-on to replace.

Lightning Template:

All vehicles come with lightning templates. You can change the color of the emissive

by simply replacing the texture. Lightning templates are customizable: use any bitmap editor

and select a color from the ‘emis.png’ file. Then change the texture in the selected ‘els_emissives.png' texture. Make sure you are using the same type of emissive.

Installation:

Make sure you have your 'mods' folder in GTAV's main folder with a copied 'update' folder.
Open your OpenIV, yurn on 'Edit mode' and go to GTAV/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/. Drag and drop folder 'dmsafd'.
Export a file called 'dlclist.xml' which located in GTAV/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/. Copy this file to your desktop and open it with any editor you like. After, scroll to the bottom and locate the last line that starts with '<item>dlcpacks:/....' . Add a new line, then copy and paste this line:

<Item>dlcpacks:/dmsafd/</Item>

4. Replace old file with the new one.

5. Copy .xml files from 'ELS VCF' folder and paste them in GTAV/ELS/pack_default/.

Fire truck installation:

Copy fire truck files and paste them in GTAV/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/(latest pachday)/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf/.
Copy 'carvariations.ymt' and paste it in GTAV/mods/update/update.rpf/x64/data/.

Model from from Hum3d, heavily edited and reworked by 0taku, converted for use in V by 0taku, textured by 0taku, cabin scratched made by 0taku, assorted parts from DSF/Forza, 6 spoke alloy made and Textured by 0taku, SSV rim made by McGarrte, tweaked and texterted my 0taku, tire textured by 0taku, Resse towbar hitch Made and textured by Wolfrunner86, other assorted parts by Rockgames, assorted bump maps by 10 Turn Studios, assorted LOD work by Five0.

2014 Dodge Charger PPV:

2013 Charger SRT8 from Forza Horizon, converted and textured by Thehurk, converted to PPV by Thehurk, templated by Thehurk, taillight textures by Five0, Dodge Charger Steelie by Matt/Peralta, L4 model by BxBugs123, further edits and overhaul by KLE0, including improved headlights, taillights, marker lights, new dirtmap, dials, buttons, remapped and smoothed dash, seats and floor, and more. Other bug fixes and optimizations by KLE0. Goodyear Eagle RS-A textures by Robert, original tire model by Matt, tire remapping and wisdom from Cj24, special thanks to GeorgieMoon, Matt and Cartres for their help.

2019 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV:

2015 Suburban by Carface converted to a 2019-2020 Tahoe PPV by Dan with da van, countless textures and parts redone and remodeled by Dan with da Van, most included parts modeled and textured by Dan with da van, door sticker redone by Billy J., thanks to Bigams for providing high quality pictures of a real Tahoe, mayor edits by Dan with da Van, ENV from some lspdfr post oof, templated and normals redon by Dan with da van. Hey @0taku! Thanks for this amazing DEV model and your reaction. I decided to create LAFD Pierce Arrow XT, but the center and back of the LAFD's fire trucks not the same with your model. So can I get a permission from you to edit your model as I need to and release fully ready LAFD fire truck with locked state?

I thought about it, but I wouldn't do this. Not because I'm lazy or something, but it is mine, author's decision. I think it looks cooler and better with this one. So this pack will be still Liberty.

Hey man!

You can try to dim them by using Paint or Photoshop:

1. Using OpenIV extract EMIS textures.

2. In the Paint or Photoshop create a new layer and dim it.

3. Save your texture and replace the old one.

Perfect good lookin models and textures. Finally a matching set to enjoy. No in game issues... The engines light bar could use some deeper red to match side light color. Still enjoy calling them both in and love watching them leave thanks for your efforts!!

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a lifeguard atv and 4wd to this SAFR pack maybe with Red lights as well due to the vanilla lifeguard having amber lights and siren.

I've never saw a FR unit as a lifeguard. I'll add a ATV and SUV units in this pack. After that, you will be able to create your own lifeguard liveries for them.
