Well, speaking from experience, bad carcols edit won't cause your game to crash on startup, worst case you'll just end up with sirens that don't work or look strange. The only thing that'll do that is a bad carvariations or vehicles.meta edit.

You're right. I must have not edited the carvariations correctly ( a mistake i've never made in 2 years) but there is a first for everything. let me look into it.

I forgot a quotation mark before the 990 yesterday that took me longer than it should've to figure out.

I'm too frigging tired to be doing this. I just saved over my mpheist carvariations with a bullshit carvar without making a backup. Damn it! This car better be worth all this blood effort to make it work.

@Kilyin @POLICESCO Ok so long story short, Trying to install just seemed to break my game. I cleared the carcols of this edit, I redid the carvariations and put the unmarked explorer back into police4. Game works fine again. Therefore, I am clearly not smart enough to make the necessary edits (in the carcols) to make this car work within my existing modified platform. I think if this can become a package installed just like buggz and captain14 with its own carcols. That would be awesome. As of right now. I cant make it work. Shame because I really like the car and would like to use it.

I will be working on making it a oiv package install so it's works off its on carcols so it causes no issues

I'm sorry to hear that. It had to be something simple you may have accidentally messed up. If you want, send me your files and I'll edit them for you, or just wait for POLICESCO to update.

For now, I will wait for POLICESCO to make a package. Its only annoying because we all know how close ELS is and how these issues will soon become mute. None the less, I can still send the files. I assume that you will need my MPheist carvariations and my current Carcols.ymt? How would you like me to get them to you? Just copy and paste as spoilers (I would like to use "99" as the sirensetting).

Looks good overall, but you have a 'ghosted' red corona flashing in the right front bumper light. The coronas on/under the side mirrors almost look like they're sitting outside of the housing as well. Laptop screen is a little bright. Using the included siren 1 carcols setting.

Yeah attachment or via dropbox or some such.

Anyone know how to dim the light on the toughbook inside the car ??? It's way to bright for my liking ! Other than that this is an AMAZING CAR !

It's not the car itself. Are you using a mod to get brighter lights?

um yes it is, by practically your own admission.

and all you have to do is darken the screen texture a bit.

Well mine was fine until I added the bright light mod because it done it to the taxi sign also

yes, and 99% of people use light enhancing mods, so it should be obvious that the texture would be way too bright for everyone.

This isn't the original texture but it's darkened and doesn't look like you have a miniature sun in your car. And it's still plenty visible in game, despite appearances.

@POLICESCO any way you can add front and back wig wags ? i used it as a custom sirensetting 20 and works great due to having different cars for id 1 which have different position

Use open iv to check what number the sirens are in the front of my model and adjust in the carcols as required 

@POLICESCO i use it for reborn , but i see what u made and made a custom siren settings id 20 and called it charger works fine now , do you know what to edit to make the strobes on ??? but besides that its great just needs a lil more work on handling maybe 

You can change the handling to suit. Its in the vehicle meta I think

Did you just add a custom siren charger to your existing carcols or the one I provided and where did you put the police2 file? In patchday11 or? I want to use a custom carcols so it doesn't affect others models but my game kept crashing 

@POLICESCO i use IPL so i took the ID 1 you changed for police/sheriff , copied paste the whole item and pasted at the end of all siren pattern settings, changed id to 20 due to having a lot in there, and then changed the carvar siresetting 20 works great and, with reborn the cars are on the server and the metas carvars i have in mpchristmas and carcols in common/platform/data etc.

I don't know if i'm doing something wrong, but I installed the vehicle the way its supposed to. Added the files where its supposed to. The only thing I did different was place it as Police instead of Police2. The only problem I'm having is the lights on the top and rear are null not bright. The front bumper lights are red and blue in 1 light and the side mirror lights are I don't know what to say out of spot and not looking right. Please help me and tell me what I need to do to make this car look amazing and make me feel dumb. Thanks.

Did you install the files correctly. And I'm using a mod which makes my lights bright
