yeah I don't understand how they have it working either - instruction file references a vehicles.meta file or a package installer in a main.zip file - I have none of this in my download

it is also not in the vehicle mod ... I have the car replaced finished only in the mod I posted !!!

It is within your Sheriff carvariations.meta . I believe the sirensettings for this car is a 1. I do not know for sure though, try messing with different sirensettings in your carvariations.meta for sherff (or whatever the car is installed for)

Do you think you will release your carcols.ymt too?

Everything working as advertised, however the leds on the liberty are no longer visible when you move only a short distance from the vehicle, is this a visualsettings issue or lods issue with the car?

Good looking car, but for some reason some of the lights do not work correctly. for example. the two LED's in the rear window are both red one flashes like it should and the other rotates instead of flash like they should. Also the two lights in the head lights are both blue and both rotate instead of flashing/ blinking. anyone know why they look like this?? I installed it in the SHERIFF slot like it came in patchday5ng like the instructions said. Thanks for any help

For some strange reason my settings are  <lightSettings value="1" />        sirenSettings value="1" />    and it still works,   ,But im also using  this car as POLICE,,and SHERIFF  both carvariations in  mpchristmas2.   But at the same time im Using RDE (Realism Dispatch Enhanced mod)  and I Hafta install the car files in RDE to replace those cars 2   may have something to do with it. One thing I did notice is my tail lights no longer wig wag.  Not sure what file to look into to fix that problem.

There's a lot of people having problems with install. I just added the car as an add-on and it works flawlessly for me.

I didn't have any problems installing the car. Installed it under police3. If you know how to edit the carvariations (which has been explained many times over) , you should not have a problem. Getting tired of reading people complaining about how the car doesn't work for them, instead of taking the time and LEARNING how to fix their problems.

@Mustang1 open up the carcols and look for rear indicators. there should be a sequence number there...if not, then that is why they don't flash.

it is confusing because in instructions say to alter the meta file with the corresponding one included, but there isn't one in the package. Nor is there a main.zip for a package installer. I'm trying to learn how to fix the problem but if the instructions are false, I need help. In these comments people have reference carcols, vehiclesmeta and carvariations, none of which is talked of in any read me or instruction on this car - I've replaced all the sheriff files, which code do I need to put in which file to make the lights work please? - my issue is the red/blue plate lights don't work, and the left side of the wheelen bar doesn't flash completely

@jonpolice Did you edit the carvariations like what was suggested on the 1st page of the comments? You just had to change police to sheriff and it would have worked for you....

Its not that simple of an install when you hafta alter other things like  RDE (  Realism Dispatch Enhanced mod )   then you hafta alter allot of other things to get the car to work,,ive ben thrue it myself,,I have less hair from it now,,,If you have a virgin game with no cars in it it is rather strieght forward to install this car,,,But when every car you download tells you to REPLACE your  already alterd carvariation files and Vehical meta files  and carcols,,and visualsettings,,Shit goes wrong fast,, with an OPENIV package install .    And another thing,,Yall gotta stop giving people shit for not knowing how to do this stuff,Not everyone is as smart as some of you guys and Ladies,,,Just couse you know how to doo it don't mean your better or smarter then anyone,, We all in this game together,,may as well TEACH someone how, then Bitch at em for not understanding,,and lets be honest,,Most Instructions for installing this stuff is crap in the first place,,Most of us all Learned the hard way and screwd up are games and had to start over.  My hats off to those that try and teach and help,,,My middle finger to you A-holes that spend your time Bitching at those that don't understand your SHORT Answers to there problem couse you think your better then them.

you can play around.....look in the development part of the forums and you will see the thread on the carcols and what the sequence number means....Basically if you remember 1 is on and 0 is off you can make any flash sequence you want....then convert your binary over to decimal and use that number.....I have some flash patterns sequences in that thread....take a look and it should give you some ideas...
