First Person Siren/Light Indicator & Blip Siren Mod 0.15

(7 reviews)

3 Screenshots

This mod adds a emergency light indicator on your screen, useful for first person in the day time. It also adds a hotkey for blipping your siren (other than turning the lights on and off quickly).

The light indicator is for when it is daytime in first person mode and you aren't sure whether you have your lights on or not. Sure, you can go to third person but this adds some immersion.

It includes an INI file where you can change pretty much all settings.

Animation (off at first and then on)

You can also now change this animation to be whatever text you like.

Sometimes it's the simple mods that are the most useful, this is one of those. Thanks so much. I was wondering if it would be possible to incorporate the turn signals/hazards into this mod? I've been using a dashcam mod and now I end up driving around with a turn signal on half the time. Thanks again.

As a first-person player, this mod is invaluable. Lightweight, simple, and customizable. However. maybe it's due to the LSPDFR updates, but I can no longer rebind the "blip" key. It seems stuck on "G" no matter what key I have in the .INI. While this isn't game-breaking, if the author ever comes back to this mod it's something of note.
