LSFD First Response 0.1.0

Message added by Cyan,

This plugin has no affiliation at all with LSPDFR or the First Response mods family.

Tired of there being no real LSFD firefighter mod for GTA V?

Tired of paying for callouts or searching everywhere just to find something that works?

Well… welcome to LSFD First Response.

LSFD First Response (LSFDFR) is a firefighter emergency response framework built for GTA V using RagePluginHook. It introduces fire incidents, medical emergencies, explosions, and other situations that firefighters would normally respond to.

This release includes multiple callouts that can happen across the map, including location based incidents and dynamic incidents that spawn around the player. Each callout can play out differently depending on the situation.

The framework also includes the built-in GrammarFirefighter system which handles dispatch communication and radio interaction during gameplay.

LSFDFR also supports third-party callouts and plugins. This means additional incidents and systems created by the community can be added to expand the framework even further.

Callouts will continue to receive updates and improvements over time. Some dynamic incidents may later be upgraded into more detailed location-based incidents.

The GrammarFirefighter system will also continue to improve with future updates.

More callouts, more features, and more improvements will be added as development continues.

I know some people might think this mod is boring or simple right now, but the goal is to keep improving it and making it better over time.

I hope you enjoy using LSFD First Response, and I appreciate everyone who supports the project.

CLARIFICATION

LSFD First Response (LSFDFR) is a standalone mod and is not connected to LSPDFR or the First Response mod family.

This plugin only uses RagePluginHook to run in GTA V. It is uploaded on LCPDFR because the site supports RagePluginHook plugins and provides a good place to share the mod.

LSFDFR is its own project with its own systems and development.

Third-party callouts and plugins made for LSFDFR should be uploaded on the official LSFDFR website, not on LCPDFR.

The website is used for support and for sharing LSFDFR plugins and callouts.

Vehicle mods and other GTA V mods can still be uploaded wherever creators normally post them, such as LCPDFR or other GTA mod sites.

This seems like a pretty in-depth project. It would be nice to see some more screenshots of the mod instead of just a fire truck. Is there a fire hose? Is there equipment? How in-depth is the EMS system? What does the radio look like?

@Jerhodmyles122 ok well it ain't working and how the hell am I meant to know what button to press to talk to dispatch can you add that to the read me file next time and all the other info like how to perform cpr. oh and when I responded to my first call for a fire at the Del Perro Pier I requested Fire and they struggled to get there to the end of the pier and then one guy finally made it but he was all by himself and he just stood there looking pretty like bro didn't even do anything and he got killed cause the fire spread to his firetruck and then it blew up then I found you can carry him which is cool but I struggled to find the cpr button. eventually found it and saved him. then the fire stopped spreading and went out itself and restarted all over so it's like you made it where it restarts and I couldn't even put it out at all and it stayed in one spot. then I ended the call and the fire didn't de-spawn it just stayed there and the only way I could fix it was to exit the game completely

Thanks for the feedback.

First, regarding the dispatch commands, LSFDFR includes the Grammar Firefighter system, which automatically creates a GrammarFirefighter folder inside the LSFDFR directory on startup. Inside that folder you will find:

  • default.ini

  • default_commands.xml

These files contain the command configuration. The dispatch commands and controls are defined there, so please make sure to check that folder after launching the game at least once. The system will generate it automatically.

Second, regarding the Del Perro Pier fire callout, the callout itself is functioning correctly. You are supposed to drive all the way down the pier to reach the scene. The fire will be visible once you reach the correct location. I have tested this callout and it worked as intended, but I will still review the location and pathing to see if anything can be improved for players unfamiliar with the pier layout.

For the fire behavior, you are correct that the fire can currently spread very quickly. That part of the system will be tweaked in a future update to make the fire spread more balanced and predictable.

Finally, regarding the carry and CPR system, I’m glad you were eventually able to locate the interaction and save the victim. The CPR and carry mechanics will be improved in the next update with better animations and clearer interaction logic.

Thanks again for taking the time to report your experience. Feedback like this helps improve the framework moving forward.

no problem I did reach the end of the pier and saw the fire visible and that's why I start using the water hose from my fire truck and it didn't work and then I tried a Fire extinguisher and that didn't work either it was really hard and make sure the pathing is mapped well for the fire department ems/emt's and the police can respond their better. oh, and one more thing I got a gang into a fight with me for no reason and when I requested for the police they didn't show up and when I hit panic button, I thought police will show up but only fire department showed up and just stood there and stared. they couldn't do much cause the gang guys armed I get that but at least they could have done something then I died, and the police never showed up. also, if possible, add a coroner system for them to respond when called to clean up any dead bodies please.

@ILovelspdfrin2024 yeah I designed the fireman to only fight fires or do ems stuff so yeah but thank you I will work on that stuff

And @ILovelspdfrin2024 wait the fire hose and fire extinguisher didn’t work? It works for me and the fire hose definitely works for me it’s helped a lot 😭 and yeah police I didn’t code for them

Like I did firefighters and emt but I got it

@ILovelspdfrin2024 Ohhhh yeah also there a system where Hahhaha when ur on a callout press G I think if I remember and those are commands for your partner if you decide to have some and press F if you on a callout you can tell firefighter to go out of the fires and emt will standby until fire is out and help ped if there are any but in the next update I will improve on it

Is it fire callouts by Panos compatible ?

Jerhodmyles122

Members Author

@ADPC67 Do you mean using Fire Callouts by PANOS with LSFDFR dispatch, or just running it alongside LSFDFR?

LSFDFR only dispatches callouts that are made specifically for the LSFDFR framework. Third-party callouts have to be written to use the LSFDFR API in order for my dispatch system to trigger them.

Other mods or callout packs can still run alongside LSFDFR, but they won’t be triggered by the LSFDFR dispatch unless they’re built for the framework.

@Michael21107 and also the other person that asked @ADPC67

That’s actually a great idea, and I’ve been seeing a lot of people ask about this lately. It would definitely be fun to see something like that happen.

At the moment though, LSFDFR is its own mod/framework with its own systems, Discord server, and website, and PANOS also has their own mod and community. Because of that, both projects are currently developed separately.

That being said, I’m definitely open to the idea. I think collaboration in the firefighter modding community can lead to some really awesome things.

@Panos1221 — I checked out your Fire Callouts mod and it’s honestly really impressive. The amount of work you’ve put into the scenarios and systems shows, and it’s great to see firefighter gameplay getting that kind of attention in the GTA modding community. A lot of people clearly enjoy it, and it’s well deserved.

If you’d ever be interested in bringing your callouts into the LSFDFR ecosystem or collaborating in some way, I’d absolutely be open to talking about it. I think working together could create something really cool for the community.

Of course, that decision is completely up to you. If it’s something you’d like to explore, that would be great. And if not, I completely understand and will continue focusing on improving LSFDFR and the upcoming updates.

Either way, it’s great to see more firefighter mods being developed and the community growing around them. 🚒🔥

Using fire callouts (paid version) with LSFDFR would work ? I could extinguish fire from LSFDFR with the hose from FireCallouts for example ?

yea they will work alongside any other mod and all that yes and I'm still waiting on Panos to reply bc I offer and approve him to be a part of LSFDFR so it's his decision so yeah
