The successor to Free My Controller

This mod is no longer supported on a regular basis. I may, from time to time, complete custom sets requested from the request board. I can't promise it will be done right away, if at all.

How to Install:

In OpenIV, travel to 'update > update.rpf > common > data > control'

Then copy/paste the files from the provided .rar

Specialty Addons:

These addons are files that can be added on to any set. Make sure to install these files after installing the desired set. Simply install into the same location as the set. The options include

Remove Cover [LB,RB,X,RT]

Remove Handbrake [A]

Remove Handbrake [RB]

Remove Handbrake & Duck [A+RB]

Remove Jump [X,A]

Remove Stealth Mode [LS&A]

Remove Vehicle Duck [A&RB]

This modification may be incompatible with other modifications that use controller bindings. (ELS being one of them)

Unfortunately, some (if not all) sets may remove the ability to scroll up in a menu using DpadUp.

Changing weapons in your vehicle using TAB or the scroll wheel will crash your game if you're using a set that removes weapon select.

This can be fixed by removing or changing the key bindings in the game settings

I recommend using Xpadder or Controller Companion to fix any issues regarding controller bindings

Never knew it was someone out here with this ability so i made my own mod but then u turn around and make the same exact removal that ive created..

#39 disables ELS lighting (DPadLeft)

You mind telling me where I can disable "Back", which file/line (Camera View Change). That's why I downloaded 39 but disables ELS turning els lights on

As stated in the description, some sets disable ELS functionality. As for your question, I'm confused on your phrasing. You're asking if I can remove the 'change camera' button?

I want to disable the BACK (on Xbox one) button's functionality so it no longer changes the camera view.

you have it on #39,

The button for that is the BACK button and I want to disable it

#39 is perfect but it just disables ELS otherwise I'd use that one. Currently using #9 and loving it, if I could just remove the "Change Camera View" binding too then it'll be perfect

i replaced some some files for one of your edits through openiv but it’s not working at all. I used similar changes to previous version of lspdfr but for some reason it’s not working with new 0.4 . Is there something else I should do besides replacing the files? Thanks.

I’m using set #12 and special add on for jump. It’s weird because I’ve had success with latest version of lspdfr but this version seems not to work.

I just put tested them and they seem to be working fine. If you launch GTAV normally (not through RPH) does the set work for you?

I tested and definitely not working in normal GTAV. ill have to make sure the right path is in openiv. thanks for the assistance and hopefully i can figure it out.

If that still doesn't work, try on a clean copy of GTAV

I'm using set #14 which disables just the phone (all I need) and it's working wonderfully, so thanks for this! But when I tried adding the remove vehicle cover (RB), well, it's not working. How can I fix this?

At this time the updated file doesn't seem to be working either. I'm assuming five hours is enough time for the site to update?
