What's New in Version 3.2

Released

***3.2***

[PLEASE NOTE] this is more or less a placeholder update to make compatible with the new EUP and as such, it may need a little fixing because I had to remake some textures and didn't spend as much time as I normally would doing it. Please let me know if you spot anything that doesn't look right.

Updated for EUP 8.1 (more to come)

Added: Female EUP Uniforms

Added: K9 variants (I'm not sure what SJPD K9 Officers wear, so if this is wrong please message me)

Added: Polo Shirts (not yet for females)

***3.0.1***

Forgot to put in SWAT textures in 3.0

***3.0***

Added: EUP textures

Added: Textures for Baud0412's Improved LSPD Officer

Added: SWAT textures for Notreid's models

Removed: everything prior

Sorry to jack the thread, but just some advice for you if you don't mind!

For the sheriff version, the patch looks too stretched and slightly too small.

Also, for the white stripes that run down their pants, it actually starts at the bottom of the side pockets, not all the way up from the belt loops.

I would love it if you could work on them! Thanks and good luck!

The pants I can definitely fix (and I appreciate you bringing that to my attention), but as it stands right now that's the best I could do with the patches. I played around with them for hours trying to get them right and unfortunately that's the best I could get them. Once some more development tools come out though, you can be sure I'll update and fix them.

Glad to hear buddy! I feel like the patches on the long sleeves version is fine, just a little too small on the short sleeves tops. You're doing some great work here man.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Gotta keep the Bay Area folks satisfied too lol. I'll try again one more time to see if I can't get the patches just a little bit better when I work on the pants too.

Fantastic! By the way, do you have any plans to make skins for the Impala and maybe a 2008 Crown Vic with license plates?

Yeah the Impala has been on my list for a while, but realistically it'll probably take me a week or two. And which Crown Vic are you talking about? Can you send me the link? I can for sure put that on the list too.

Nice! Well, most of the Crown Vics have the same template, I'm just talking about those that include custom license plates as part of their skin as opposed to those that use GTA dynamic plates.

For example, all the F5544's models have those license plates on the skin.

Hey guys, accidentally forgot to backup the ped files...for a video I need the original uniform though now (GTAV LSPD). Could maybe someone help me out and upload either the 4 original "s_m_y_cop_01" files or just the whole "componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf"? Cant find it anywhere online and dont want to restore the whole game (bc of all the other mods) Would really appreciate that :).

Possible to make a lore friendly version of this? the uniforms looks really nice 🙂

Thank you! Yep, it's in the plan, but I first need to complete the pack first (add females etc), after that I'll make a lore friendly version of both the cars and uniforms.

I got the uniform to show up in EUP but the AI cops have a weird brown patch on them not the SJPD patch. Have any ideas as to what I might be missing TF75Chris?

Oh I live in San Jose CA and show one of my friends who is a San Jose PD officer and he's blown away by this and the cars.

Hmm, that's really odd. If it works for you but not the AI, my guess would be that it's in the config files for LSPDFR (in your LSPDFR folder or custom backup if you're using that). I'd say first check to make sure that the AI cops are not set up to have "decal_x" or whatever it's called in the config files if that makes any sense. Sorry I'm on my phone right now so I can't give you the actual names of anything lol. If that's confusing I'll hop on my computer and explain it more clearly.

But that's awesome about your friend, thanks for sharing that!

I guess im confused but where do I put the improved textures?

You need to download "Improved LSPD Officer" (link in description) and then replace those textures. EUP files go in the EUP folders.

Do these textures replace the BCSO in the game?

No they should only replace LSPD if you put them in the right spots and have your LSPDFR AI configs set up right

I got a question How do you make the badges and do you have to save and re-edit the badge over and over and over the LSPD badge??

Well luckily EUP comes with several variants of badge models with different shapes, so all I really had to do was get a picture of an SJPD badge and lay it over the texture for the BCSO badge, then swap LSPD badge model for the BCSO one in OpenIV, then put my SJPD texture on it.

If you would be able to point me in what direction I need to look for the AI cops in config files. Where would I look for config files and would I need to use Open VI to see them?

Thanks for your help TF75Chris

For sure man,

So you don't need Open IV for it. I spent a while just typing all the instructions and then realized it would be easier if I just attached mine and you can just put it in your GTA directory and it should fix it. If not let me know and we'll try some other things. I'm no wizard at this but I'm pretty sure it's just a problem with your config. Installation location is your GTA V main directory -> "lspdfr" -> "custom" then just place the file there.

Thanks TF75Chris I will give this a try. Looks like LSPDFR might be down for a Scripthook update after Rockstar threw some updates at us.
