Blaine County Sheriff Uniforms (EUP 8.0) 2.0

(29 reviews)

19 Screenshots

Hard to believe this file is at almost 60k downloads, thanks for the support!

I haven't updated this file here in several years however I still work on it in my discord from time to time all these years later. Currently converting them to the public version of eup (8.3) so maybe I'll actually post an update somewhere one of these days.

Blaine County Sheriff Uniform Pack by GrandTheftPD
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This version was made for EUP version 8.0 any other versions are likely incompatible the replacement peds will likely still work.

 - This is a collection of Lore Friendly Blaine County Sheriff uniforms.

 - Contains uniform skins for:
       - EUP
       - Male Sheriff Ped (s_m_y_sheriff)
       - Female Sheriff Ped (s_f_y_sheriff)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 - Install Instructions are included in each folder of the download.

 - I've included 11 preset outfits for EUP

                  **Important**

- If you want the preset EUP outfits to work correctly and look like my screenshots you must install the EUP belt and mic replacement mod by CodeyWynne.

By default 0.4 uses the multiplayer (eup peds) for the backups instead of the regular sheriff peds. You can configure the backup units to use either the eup outfits or the original sheriff peds through the lspdfr 0.4 data xmls. I plan on updating my packs with female eup and 0.4 configurations as soon as I can.

That would be awesome! I am currently using all of your ped packs for LSPD SAHP and BCSO. Im using Mkalash's EUP outfit settings. If I had the names of your EUP outfits maybe I could replace the default ones with yours?

If you look in my wardrobe.ini file in the packs for eup the text in there is basically the same as the lspdfr outfit.xml. It will show you each outfit and the numbers for the model and texture of each component. All you have to do is recode the outfit.xml with the numbers from the wardrobe ini to add each outfit in your lspdfr files. You made need to make a few adjustments in the agency or backup xmls or something as well to specify which departments use those uniforms etc. I've just been having trouble with my custom folder and recoding my lspdfr xmls so I haven't gotten to making the outfit xmls and stuff for my packs yet.

I noticed that but im not sure how to format it. Like what would I put for "name" and "script name"

Also your format is

Hat=11:6

would that be "prop text=1, ID=1, drawable=6"?

Also I noticed that as long as I go on duty wearing one of your EUP outfits the Peds spawn accordingly. This is probably due to the EUP settings for LSPDFR .4 XML I have. Except for the SAHP. when calling backup, one shows up as the CHP style and one with your style. I edited the code so the hway_cop spawns and not the freemode_01 but do to me not knowing how to format the textures they spawn without hats.

The name is just the uniform name the script name is the name used to identify that outfit in the agency xml. I'm pretty sure you can name them both whatever you want. That would be hat 11 prop texture 6 i think. I haven't figured out if you can specify the freemode peds to spawn with specific props like the hats yet either. I still have to figure out recoding it all myself so Im not really sure how it all works yet.

How can i get the radio mic setup which is on the deputy with the ar rifle?

That's built into that ped that is the le revamped2 ped by majorpaine2015. It's a replacement for the highway patrol ped. So you could use that setup if you played as that highway cop ped but it's not a standalone radio / mic for the multiplayer peds (EUP). Ive always wanted one like that for eup as well because I like the over the shoulder but the only other over the shoulder mic for eup comes over and sits on your chest and the radio animations are always on your left shoulder.

Why i can't see/found the replaced uniforms when in game using the EUP? Is this replace the BCSO Law & Order pack  or i have to make a new wardrobe?

I use different clothing pieces than the default law and order uniforms so selecting them through the law and order pack doesn't work. You need to install the wardrobe.ini from the download and then select the uniforms through the wardrobe section of the eup menu. I'm going to update when I can with configurations for 0.4 so they can be selected through the police stations when going on duty rather than using the eup menu.

i have this. and i LOVE IT by the way! but i'm having a texture issue on some of the other officers in the game. it almost seems like they dont have textures on their uniforms. pants are just plain black with no pockets or anything. hats are and badge on hat are plain black. i'm using EUP and EUP settings for LSPDFR 0.4 by mklash or something like that. any idea why it would do this? the uniforms are the correct colors. but they look nothing like mine lol

Yeah those are the original female sheriff and the LE Revamped2 ped by majorpaine2015. They are different models than the multiplayer peds (EUP). You can use the eup peds as your backup now instead of those and their uniforms will match your eup uniforms. I haven't had time to make the female eup yet but I'm going to try to add it as soon as I can.

i'm using the eup settings mod to give my officers eup uniforms. not sure if its completely working. how can i get theirs to be high res like my characters? should i just turn my texture resolution up?

also in those screens look at the pants and the shirts respectively, those are what are bugging me. they are very low res compared to what my character is using/wearing

It's not your textures they are completely different peds they do not use the eup uniforms that's why they look so different. You have to configure the xml files for lspdfr 0.4 to use the freemode peds with the eup uniforms as your backup instead of these.

do you happen to have a link to a help page for that? just need to know the basics. i'll figure out the rest. and also, i was looking in OpenIV, and the pants textures for the peds on this file, to not appear to have a texture. they are just black boxes once you open up the .ytd file. every other ped pants have texture. not sure if i did something wrong

You have to edit the agency.xml. I don't really have a link I'm sure if you search the site or google/youtube you might find more info.

This is all I know of off the top of my head but doesn't give a ton of info about how to do it. You just have to set the departments to use the freemode peds instead of the vanilla sheriff peds.

i have tried everything. edited what i could. the new peds show up. but they dont use the uniforms. not sure what is going on.... this is allowed to be put onto peds? correct? or just  for the player?

note: i can add them in via trainer, but they use the default police model. not the mp model. it would just be nice to see these uniforms being used by the other sheriffs other than myself

Its not hard to do, sounds like your almost there you just need to edit the scriptname of the outfit entry of those peds you edited and add the scriptname of the outfit you want them to wear from the outfit.xml. Use the script name from the eup outfit you want them to wear from your outfit.xml to specify which outfit they show up in.

My uniforms are completely compatible with the lspdfr 0.4 update and yes you can use the eup uniforms from my pack as your backup not just on your character.

Your problem is that you are not customizing your lspdfr data .xml files correctly. This is unrelated to my uniforms you are simply not setting up your backup unit files to choose the characters and uniforms you want to use.

Ive explained it as well as I can but as I said this is an issue unrelated to my uniforms. My eup uniforms can be set to any agency in the game and you can have your backup units show up in any of the eup outfits available (even the k9 units with the vests, or the winter hats and jackets, etc.) It all just depends how you customize your data files from lspdfr 0.4.

If you need help learning how to customize your lspdfr 0.4 files I would suggest searching the forums here or youtube or something. I am not lspdfr support and unfortunatley I can't explain how to customize your backup files any better than I have.

It already is you just have to set up your backup files with the numbers from the eup wardrobe.ini in my pack. It will work with 0.4 and the new versions of ultimate backup.

I'm going to try to add an outfit file with all the outfits set up already for 0.4 to make things faster for people I just haven't had time.

How do I get this for Peds to wear?? I looked in the outfit xml to change it but the components and textures are very confusing and don’t seem to match Eup vanilla so I can’t figure out which is what? Any help?
