EverythingCar is a script that adds more functionality and depth to cars while making

cars persistent in multiplayer (should work in singleplayer just the same, report otherwise!)

This script was originally intended to add depth for LCPDFR policing vehicles but can be used for anything

Features:

-Save up to 4 cars in multiplayer(or SP) that will save weapons/ammo/damage persistently and automatically (see INI file for controls)

-Seatbelt on/off so you wont fly out the window during crashes

-Lock doors/Set Alarm in and out of the vehicle to avoid those darn thieves! (broken window sets off alarm but makes that certain door unlocked)

-Store weapons and ammo in vehicle (this is great if using the weapon weight mod!)

-Openable trunk/hood within or outside of vehicle (my PvPWanted script syncs this feature in multiplayer)

-Repair engine and tires of vehicle, repair body as well, costs a fee, can be specified in INI

-Airtime functionality when taking big jumps and landing on tires, causing them to pop like in real life (must land on all 4 tires, this sometimes doesnt work)

-All instances of opening trunks/hood, repairing + repair animations are all synced in multiplayer (if you change interval of script, this becomes more likely to desync)

-Optional: Police can search civilian players trunk of vehicles for weapons (unfinished, possibly broken)

Installation:

Copy EverythingCar.net, EverythingCar.ini, EverythingCarSaves.ini into scripts folder.

Known issues:

-Crashing may occur with higher intervals

-Older versions sometimes lose car data (this was fixed, report otherwise)

-When storing grenades/molotovs, the vehicle display menu sometimes shows all stored weapons at 0(ammo shown is fine), extracting ammo/weapons or removing grenades/molotovs fixes this.

Curses. I simply get errors when attempting to use 'everything car' and 'Persistent Persons'. I've tried changing the intervals, no joy. Cant quite figure out what's wrong, but they both receive errors at the same time upon loading the game.

I was being a plum and had an older version of scripthook running. Persistent person works perfectly, Im still having issues with everything car, but nothing that doest take minor tweaking. Saying that there is a confliction between putting a weapon in a car and calling for a tow truck (vdH). The function for the tow truck (Ctrl+T) should be disable especially with the helper running, but it continues to work causing an over keen tow driver to come and take my car when I attempt to put a gun away. I'm trying to work around this with adapting the different .ini files involved, but not having much luck even when adapting the everythingcar.ini

My bad, the modifier key to place weapons in is SHIFT + T, I messed up and put wrong modifier in INI. I'll reupload that now

(Are you in singleplayer or multiplayer and are you next to the vehicles when you load? Ill double check to make sure latest files are in.)

This is awesome... I only wish that my cars would quit de-spawning. Im trying to use one car for swat calls and leave it somewhere but whenever I get more then two blocks away the car disappears. other then that this is awesome. its when you add more then one car that I have problems

Its supposed to auto despawn in multiplayer to avoid other players nearby despawning it for you as in p2p multiplayer, the other player becomes ownership of your car when your not in the area but he is, even if the car is set as a mission vehicle.

wont let me save a car o.o I do ALT s in a vehicle and nothing then outside and still nothing ._.

Hi,

 

I know this mod hasn't been worked on for years now and you might not remember GTA 4 anymore, but is there a way to disable the tire popping from landing from a jump? That feature is really annoying, but this is the best mod I can find to have persistent cars in GTA 4, so I'd like to have a way to use it.
