CVPI PSD template (lspd, sheriff, taxi livery included) 1.0.2

6 Screenshots

Hi !

This is my first PSD gived to the community.
I know that the CVPI is loved by many of us, so I wanted to do a PSD to make livery customisation easy for everyone.

This PSD is provided with some folders and one vector layer for each part of the car, allowing you to change each color the easy way withat having to draw any shape.
It also comes with a folder using a layer mask allowing you to draw/put stickers/decals on the car without exceeding too much the car template and have a clean looking texture. For me, its important when you share your work with people. (You also can enable the standard CJ24 template in background to work accurately and have a good idea of where your logos/unit numbers will be on the car.)

The purpose of my work is only to make you gain some time while making lot of liveries. No more time spent checking if your color fits the corrects polygons.

The PSD comes with a LSPD, Blaine County Sheriff and Taxi example.

Look at the video to see it in action... but don't pay attention to my shitty english please :p

Bye ! :)

Love this! Been wanting an easy way to make textures! Great job!

But how do you add individual stickers or decals, and can I just use any decal off of the internet?

Thanks,

I don't understand the "individual stickers" part. What do you mean ?
To add stickers you just have to put them in the folder "DECALS" and place them the way you want. Disable any vector layer group to see the CJ24 template on the background and work accurately. If you need to add some "shapes" like in my sheriff template, just use the pen to draw it :)

You can use decals from the internet yeah, but it needs to have a transparent background.

Please help, I am a tad new to this. I finished designing my car, made the template transparent so only the colors and decals I put on are there, exported it as a png, but now where do I install it? And by this I mean, what is the exact directory location in Open IV that I put it. Is it C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\police.ytd ? and where in the ytd do I put it? This is the only thing I can't find on the internet. I have found a million tutorials on how to color the car using the template but none of them tell me where to put the png after I am done coloring it.
