Sounds like a savegame issue that someone had yesterday. If nothing else works, remove/delete all your savegames Run the error logging tool and post your log.

It looks like in one of those videos the guy has multiple partners that are NOOSE officers. It looks like these are just bodyguards spawned with Simple Native Trainer as I don't think there is a way in the current verison of the LCPDFR mod to get more than one partner. There also might have been some different shootout/shots fired callouts in those version of the mod compared to those in the version that is currently available. Feel free to enhance your ingame NOOSE experience however by perhaps downloading some custom NOOSE skins or models, or custom vehicles OR, one thing that I think is essential, editing the peds file so that your NOOSE units don't crouch all the time. The mod is primarily aimed at general duties patrolmen and there are few specifically that require fully eqipped, hard tactical (NOOSE) units. You will get the occasional shootout call though which you are welcome to respond to as NOOSE. Your player character does not determine what callouts you receive. You can't do much in a helicopter except follow chases and call backup units. If you want a police chopper you'll have to use the ingame trainer to spawn it. If you have scripthookdotNET then open the console with (`) and type spawn polmav and press enter Some of those videos may include coordinated activities with other real players in multiplayer. Others are scripted shootout calls that will have either NOOSE or normal police spawn at a location and attack armed gang members.

It has to be installed separately for the mod to actually run. You should see it in your root folder.

If you are using rc2-r2 press alt T to activate and then alt T to draw the taser. Please read the download documentation before asking further questions as the use of the taser is referred to in the first section of that page. Is your original problem fixed?

The game has trouble dealing with two prisoners at once. If you know you are going to have 2 prisoners, just press F11 to leave the first person you arrest and then f9 or f10 to arrest the second. Alternatively you could wait for transport to arrive and take the first prisoner out of view and then you will be able to deal with the second as per normal. Or if you want a more exciting answer: Go for a lethal takedown on that second suspect and when you are getting questioned by internal affairs tell them you were forced to due to 'resource deficiencies' :yes:

Perhaps try reinstalling the mod but make, before you do so, that all the files and folders inside gtaivcommondata are not read-only Do this by right clicking on the data folder > properties > untick read only. And do the same thing for files and folders inside the data folder. Uninstall and delete ALL local game content including savegames then reinstall. Savegame issue is now the most likely cause of the problem.

You have police pursuit mod... also looks like your GFWL window is being weird.

If that's the case, that even the vanilla game doesn't work, it sounds external to the mod and therefore not specifically covered by this forum's support section. It could be an issue with your savegames or other data that is not removed and rewritten when you reinstall the game.

So you reinstall the game and even vanilla (unmodded) game doesn't work? Are you running the diagnostic tool as admin?

I had this problem a few weeks ago, was never sure what it was related to but I just repaired (reinstalled) my game and it worked. If you reinstall your game working with a fresh, vanilla copy there is no reason for there to be any problems. Then re-add your mods step by step until you have what you need. Also run the diagnostic tool and post your log file here on the forums. Ensure you have followed my signature correctly too. And put some thought into what you write.

One thing that turns me off about roleplay groups is that it's in their nature to not be very accessible for people to just drop in/out without going through some application process. I guess it's fair enough though but I'm just the type who's keen for a casual game with people every now and then. That said, do any of you guys want to play mp right now?

Try a different browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, only old people use internet explorer now. You shouldn't have any problems getting on those websites unless they have been blocked by your network administrator/ISP/country government. They work fine.

You can play start the LCPDFR mod in any multiplayer game, the other players don't have to have it installed (but it is of course way more useful if they do). I'm keen to play if people want to get something organised.
