What you can do is install the disk version & install patch 1.0.4.0 & make a copy of that of it & paste it in a new location & then update the main one to 1.0.7.0(not the files you copied) i know this worked because i have done it before i have 3 copies of IV, Gostown & SA2IV.

Released on 12/17/2013 Model by GatorPixel, Edited by Bxbugs123 / Trooper Dashie Textures by Bxbugs123 / Trooper Dashie Converted by Bxbugs123 / Trooper Dashie GTAPoliceMods.com LCPDFR.com For GTA IV ================================== HOW TO INSTALL ================================== open "OpenIV" & find & open your "pedprops.img" file(pc/models/cdimages) Click "Edit mode". Then at the top find the "Edit" tab & down the list & find "Add"(or just hit your Insert key on your keyboard) then go to the helmet files "m_y_cop_p.wdd & m_y_cop_p.wtd & import/add them to the archive. Now go to the "File" tab & "Rebuild"(or Shift+Ctrl+R) close "OpenIV" done you can also rename to the files to whatever you want & place them over other peds also feel free to edit model or textures if you want to be sure to provide proper credits if released. Happy Holidays.

You can do it with the trainer just disable that hotkey for the trainer so it doesn't do that.
