Also being from Wisconsin myself I see a lot of these. Both of the guys who live in my area now have Taurus's but I still see some CVPI's around. As for the skin its not bad, just a few tips/ideas. The "reflective" sticker on the bumper - angle the ends off like the real thing (see photo below). Also the white strip that runs down the side begins right behind the headlight on the real cars. yours carries forward to the hood (see photo below). I know those are small details but I'm anal about this stuff so I point it out. Take it as you wish.

Once again things are floating and as others have said make more than just one red XT6 in the back deck. You need to detach stuff so that you can move it independently. Then try moving it over and making a copy so that you can have a red one and a blue one on each respective side. This is very similar to that Impala. Also just a tip about the screen shots - shoot them during the day so its actually somewhat possibly to see the car.

Really nitpicky sidenote - means rough, or if used as an adjective to describe a person as rude.
*Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm only offering my opinion and advice about what you could fix to improve the car. Take it or leave it however you wish* Alright as others have said, the wheel center caps need fixing. The grill should be all black, you have the two sections running through it that are the same color as the car. The police models don't have the turn signals on the mirrors. Also it appears you have a issue with the ELS on the traffic advisor. I haven't tested it in game but just from the photos it seems as though the ELS lights are two close to the bar causing them to sort of clip into the bar itself. If you just move them away slightly towards the rear this issue will be solved. Like I said though, I'm just going by the photo for that one. if you notice in the photo you can see black showing through the amber, thats what I'm talking about. Do you have lights installed in the fog light spot? If so disregard this next one but if you don't you should make the fogs black/grey since the police models don't have fogs. Finally I agree with sixium, the Talon should either go a little higher or a little lower, not smack dab in the middle of the windshield. Overall not bad for your one of your first models, just needs a little bit of touching up.
Is This a WIP? or.....
The import coords for that pushbar are setup for a Tahoe. It imported slightly to the rear and inside the front bumper since the Suburban is larger. If you look the pushbar is clipping inside the bumper. Just thought I'd point that out if you didn't notice it. Just move it forward a little and you'll be golden.
Maybe its just me since I'm anal to the details but there are quite a few small issues. The lightbar feet appear to be to low on the roof like they are sunken in. The XT6's you used in the rear doors are floating, they aren't attached to anything, as well as the cord goes into mid air. The radar display unit is sunken into the dash. The textures appear to be messed up on the visor lights of the "slicktop" version. The modules look black but maybe its suppose to be like that. You used a CVPI pushbar on a Impala and there is a texture issue with the Go Rhino logo on the middle of the bar, evident in the last photo. The TIR3's used on the pushbar and the mirrors seem to be way to big in my opinion anyway. The traffic advisor is in front of and covering up the rear radar unit and the cords for it are able to be seen in the trunk when opened. Last but not least the console, why is it just textures and not a simple model of a cencom and a radio? Like I said before I'm anal to the details so don't take it the wrong way. Scale some things down to better fit the car. Your on the right track but it still needs some TLC.
I know made it like that.
He knows you made it like that, you uploaded it, he's just offering advice. I thought the same thing, its hard to read and I would also recommend that you add a outline or change it to black. The "TROOPERS" is especially hard to read against that blue. Why is the flag on the rear bumper USA and UK? I think you should go with one or the other and since this skin represents a American style layout more I'd say go with that.
its only your second car so I'll be nice but the skin you should have been able to see was far from complete. Colors bleed into sections they shouldn't and its pretty obvious you made it with paint. Which is alright I guess but you really can't do what you need to do with paint, which is why Photoshop or a similar program is best for skins. The LCPD logo is way to big and the "POLICE" on the side should be angled with the car a little. As for the car, the lightbar should be back further, the middle of the lightbar at the point where the front and rear doors meet. Reference real life pictures for placement. I'm just going off the pictures you provided but it looks like the lightbar should be rotated a little to the front to follow with the roof line and it also seems like its "inside" the top of the roof. So it should probably be moved up a little so the feet rest on the roof, scale/rotate/move repeat to get desired placement and size. Same for the traffic advisor, to me it should be placed more towards the rear of the car and be a little bigger. This is just my feedback to try and help you with a future version or a future vehicle, please don't take it as a personal attack or anything like that.
As others have said, screenshots are going to help you tremendously when it comes to downloads. If people can't see what it looks like, chances are they won't download it. A real life picture doesn't count since thats not a accurate representation of your skin. I didn't download it so I can't comment on the quality of it though. Another thing, work on your title of the skin. The current title is misleading and it makes it sound like a entire model is available for download
Yup, I agree, Whatever you can do to a CVPI has been done, Its just a matter of if someone likes it or not now.
Wow, thumbs up to you for taking criticism on your mod and taking it as just that. Not getting all mad and fly off the handle like most people do these days. I like that you agreed with me to, and your right, most everything that can be done has been done. There are still some lightbars that haven't been used on CVPI's but after seeing so many CVPI's they all start to blur together and look the same after awhile. People keep asking me to do CVPI's and I'm like why would I want to, there are probably 200+ available for download. I already had my fun with it, now its time to move on to other cars

Wilson 5000 CB Antenna
in Vehicle Parts
1,531 6People still think that you can just "install" these misc parts on cars. I was asked the same questions back when I use to do this, lol. I would get PMs asking how to install a siren controller model inside of the car... Anyway, nice antenna model, keep up the good work!
