I never wanted to teach anything you already didn't know, I saw you were a software developer, so I didn't simplify it and just put it in development terms. We wanted the Crime Statistics to be real-time. I guess we could use Comet or polling, but it seems unnecessary work. With IRC, I don't think we'll be using it. The shoutbox, forums and commenting system suffice this community. Just added a link to 'Suggestions' in the LCPD First Response category; thanks.

We were thinking of adding some sort of system where you can create your own missions by coding mission INI files.

The IPB error is due to our single sign-on script doing things IPB doesn't like to do during sign-in. I guess we could use a location() header to reload the page after account creation, but meh. Gallery problems are due to a new design. FAQ will be fixed when I get home. Cheers for noticing. Link colours will be changed soon enough. The frequent AJAX calls aren't load heavy, as varnish redirects them to an event-driven JavaScript node.js server, which processes the requests in ~1ms. We won't use IRC, because IRC is an outdated technology.
