It looks great so far! Would it be possible to convert the animations? I remember hearing that it's not possible, but just asking :)

Try disabling shadows and night shadows, that should give you some more FPS, it helped me if not, try using a command line, my system crashes when I use one though Edit: I didn't see your full post, apparently you did, but instead of having blurry and low quality shadows, can't you just disable them? That should help a bit. It's also weird that you have a stronger PC than mine (in some hardware parts) and it's slower, my PC can run 50 FPS with medium or high texture quality and use high quality reflections.

My real guess is that it's just gas escaping (Mars fart) or it's a camera glitch. Like said before, alien existence is highly unlikely, it would probably have been discovered by now if they lived on mars, but you never know

I love the TSA and how about we bring that magical feeling into IV? We can have a line of peds waiting at the entrance of the airport, and we can use the frisking animation and someone can make a TSA uniform, this is definitely possible with scripting. The security officer isn't enough, but someone could make a TSA skin on him. Tools: -Frisking -Taser -Baton -TSA CV with amber lighting -Possible clothing removal mod? -Other things that the TSA does. Can someone please make this?

Like said before, PC abuse is not welcomed here! Take it to a local hospital and ask if they could put those injection thing's in it's hard drive and put the computer down humanly! When I lived in an apartment, I threw my TV off my balcony and it almost hit a car (I was drunk) but I had to pay a ticket though :/ I still have nightmares to this day.

I hope GTA V gets a better porting team then IV's. To this day, GTA IV is the most unstable game ever IMO. But still no word of the PC version :/

No, if you get caught you will have to pay a fine of $1,000,000 and face a 60 year prison sentence (sarcasm). But seriously, it's probably not, the files belong to R* and it is technically illegal until you get permission from R* to use them. It isn't a big deal compared a full map conversion, I doubt anyone would care. (I suck at law stuff so I am not even sure)

I completly agree with you! I refrained from playing GTA V too much because I wanted to enjoy the experience on the PC version, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Y u do dis Cockstar? +1

It's better than nothing, at least he was nice enough to provide a pre alpha unlike the other team, I am personally waiting for a beta release. Traffic paths were implemented in some areas, as well as peds, so patrol is possible. I found a screenshot of the new hud map mod:

The other topic got closed, so I decided to create a new one, NTA has started a GTA V map and has recently released a pre alpha version, I am sure LCPDFR.com has similar rules as GTA Forums, so I am not going to link it on this site, here is what NTA said: "the alpha has kind of been released even though a 'large' amount of people are having random crash issues which aren't reproducible right now, but most of the time if it loads it works get it from the known places, don't ask, don't tell, just get it" But there have been hints on the thread (PM me for a direct link if you can't find it) : http://gtaforums.com/topic/697393-iv-viiv-levelsgta5-for-gtany/ (it's a few pages ahead) and I guess further progress can be followed there. This will go great with the GTA V cop peds pack. NOTE: This is a pre alpha version; meaning that there will be tons of bugs! A video I found of the alpha (check the description of the video for info on the mod/link):
