I can only find one and it is the SA conversion tutorial. Can anyone point me to another one? I know the basics of vehicle conversions, but I am having trouble with the in-game rotations and whatnot. Any help would be appreciated.

You would need to play around with the mapping. (Changing the extras etc.)

Yes, it's pretty safe in my area. I used to live in a pretty crappy neighborhood with a "high" crime rate (a while ago). The area which I currently reside in, has multiple popular roads and a lot of vehicles driving by, as well as a few businesses. The police response is 1-3 minutes (5 tops) and there are a lot of officers patrolling the streets. There are a few major crimes every once in a while and the rest are minor/standard calls. The EMS/Fire response is fairly quick as well. It's a pretty nice place IMO.
