  1. Is there any way to get computer+ to stretch for 4k? It works great, but it's too small on this monitor to read without squinting. I can manage if not, but if there's a simple way to scale the UI myself I'm down to try if someone can give me a good place to start.
  2. Are there any plans for UI scaling for this mod (or a 4k version?) Or a kind person that will tell me how I can do it myself. It works great and I love it, but the letters and boxes are soooo tiny on a 4k monitor (unless it's a REALLY BIG 4k monitor) that it's very, very difficult to use. I've already tried to do it myself with my rudimentary knowledge (just increasing font and upsizing .pngs) but failed, as I'm sure many of you could have guessed by my method. I know albo has a UI scale setting in police radio ini that works perfectly for me, so I think it can be done? If its not so much trouble, anyway.
  3. Thanks for the responses so far. I respect your opinion theninja35's, and I think it's good to know I have the option of having a perfectly good time with lspdfr without them and I totally may try that, but for now at least, I think I kinda agree with Westcoaster; I find Darkmyre's mods actually pretty great, whatever drama caused him to create his own website (and apparently piss people off) notwithstanding. That was before my time so my steak isn't so salty. I would appreciate tips on which ones perform best and play nice with other mods, (and hopefully ones that tie in with the Court System from albo's mods, if any), since I am trying to slash the amount of plugins I'm running to mitigate plugin crashes and fps drops.
  4. Quick question for everybody, is the court system of this mod supposed to be integrated with SearchWarrant? Or searching peds in general? I could use computers+ to create an arrest report to force it, but I was hoping for a less fiddly method.
  5. In addition to the excellent mods on this site by very talented individuals, I'm sure many of you are aware of other mods like Search Warrant and the like, which all can be found on Darkmyre's site. While I'm not sure the reason for a whole separate site from LSPDFR or what caused this, I know a lot of mods (on here, even) reference darkmyre's work and mention integration with them, which is really neat. And while I like his mods, (they've got a very slick ui; great information density and layout relevance consistency) I've noticed they don't always play super nice with other mods from here. A lot of them duplicate functions. While this is okay, since you can remap keys as you like and just use whichever mod's function you prefer, I have noticed certain mods tend to cause more instability when combined with others. Specifically, I've noticed Agency Callouts, Patrol Toolkit, and lspdfr comes alive -all very enjoyable and well-made mods- seem to lead to some level of instability (usually Lspdfr crashes) in when I combine them with mods on this site. It's not great instability, but it is mildly irritating. I'd like to avoid this. Bearing all that in mind, I'd like to get my lspdfr working stably, but don't want to miss out on the best work from Darkmyre if I don't have to. Which ones do you use, if any? Can you think of which commonly used mods those might conflict with, or duplicate?
  6. This is the best I can do, hopefully not too much detail is lost and you can see it. These are models created with EUP (Which is fantastic, I am not complaining). In my defense its much, much easier to see what I'm talking about when the ped is in motion. Crows feet and wrinkles like a person in their late 50s would have. ( I have made sure the sliders are all zeroed for those things) I also play in 4k on a large monitor, so it may be a problem with the texture itself not being intended for 4k, but I haven't seriously considered that since usually low rez textures in games don't look like old wrinkly skin they just look like miscolored skin. Further, the normal peds in the game (the ones in the swimsuits and trunks at the beach) look just fine, so it seems to be that the skin texture used here is not just low-resolution, but is actually an old person's skin, and I haven't found a way to youthify it, or replace or point EUP to a different reference texture. As it stands my guys would not make the cut for baywatch :( If you can think of a way to replace the skin textures that EUP uses, or know if maybe I've messed up the character generation (remember: my menu at least says nothing for aging or skin weathering) in some way, then I'll be happy to try your suggestions!
  7. So I've been pretty happy with myself that I've got LSPDFR and dozens of submods up and going without needing any help, but finally I've ran into an issue. My officers all always have old man/ old lady skin (even the ones made in EUP). Not geriatric old, but definitely noticably wrinkly and baggy. I'm almost 40 and not very great looking myself, but I look a heck of a lot better than my Officers do! Is there any fix for it? Is there a setting somewhere I've missed, or a tweak in an INI somewhere that'll fix it? Thanks in advance either way!
  8. Ah, I didn't realize I had to go to a station first - I was just using CTRL-P and going about my business usually failing to get a police car for myself. I'll give that a whirl too, once I find where a police station is. I haven't played this game for years so I've forgotten the layout of the city pretty well.
  9. Many thanks, I appreciate the very timely help!
  10. That simple eh? I didn't realize this wasn't an included feature in the mod, but thank you for the reply! Next question - can you recommend a good trainer to use with LCPDFR?
  11. Maybe I'm completely out of left field here, but my understanding is that with the mod enabled, I'm not supposed to get a wanted level for most (or maybe any) things. I've been getting one, which has made it really suck trying to arrest crooks when by shooting at them I get busted myself. :/ I have no other mods in use, and am running a standard steam install (so should be already 1.0.7.0). Anyone have a clue what (if anything) I can do to fix this, or what the usual culprits are? Many thanks in advance.
