  2. Ah oh well. At least there is ONE unlocked model available. I guess it is better than nothing. If I were a modeler though, I wouldn't use it because of the fact it is low quality and it was leaked out and not properly released. That's just my opinion.
  3. Ah, I'm familiar with that model but I heard it was low quality. Is that true?
  4. Oh there is? Who made/converted it?
  5. I don't think someone would be able to create a Caprice for you considering the are no unlocked models. Other things like a CVPI and Tahoe are do-able.
  6. Not really fond of the livery nor the license plate but the model itself is fantastic. I'm surprised more people don't use ALPRs because they look quite nice on the Crown Victoria!

  8. Font is wrong. It should also have a yellow outline to it.
  9. Wow, to cease business after so many years in the industry, that's tough. Tell me, are they completely going out of business in Australia, meaning they will no longer be making any new vehicles?
  10. Guys, stop feeding the troll. He's laughing at all of those who try and be serious by saying, "You're obviously blind because the CVPI is the best police vehicle in the world". There is no reason to continue this thread because everyone keeps repeating themselves about how he is wrong and the rest are right.
  11. There is also a police version of the Yosemite and it's actually pretty neat. It's non-ELS by the way.
  12. A lot of people can create textures or vehicles. Making GTA 4 multiplayer to run smoother with mods is a challenge considering if it were possible it would have already been done. When it comes to editing the core map's buildings, again, is going to be very difficult and I've only known a small amount of people who can do it successfully without fucking the game up badly. Lastly, putting together graphics for online use is pretty easy and anyone with a program like Adobe Photoshop or GIMP can create some nice stuff. I'd love to help you out with this sort of project so if your interested, please by all means send me a PM.
  13. I heavily visit policecarwebsite for any information/pictures about the NYPD's fleet. I did not know that they were using Altimas as undercover taxis, well I guess they are good about keeping that undercover lol. I have noticed that they are fading out the Crown Vic but it's not like they are alone. I can't really imagine them using new generation Tauruses and Explorers as precinct vehicles, though. However, they would be perfect for highway patrol! I'm also wondering if the NYPD will upgrade to new Chargers. Would be interesting to see a new 2013 Charger in an NYPD livery with a set of Hi-Risers on it. Thank you for the response!
  14. I'm not completely in the dark of what the NYPD fleet is made of. I had created this thread with the intentions of finding out, from people who live in any one of New York City's five boroughs, what was the ration between the vehicles that they had in their fleet. For example, I knew they used Impalas and Crown Vics but what I wanted to see was how many of them are used daily between the few. I know the Ford Tauruses are newly being integrated so I can't imagine many of those around but, again, it will depend on where you live in the city. Thanks for the response, pal!
  15. Thank you so much! This is exactly the kind of response that I needed. My guesses were, by watching countless YouTube videos of New York City, that in the borough of Manhattan they would use mostly Crown Vics and Impalas along with some Ford Fusions as their main patrol vehicles. What sort of surprises me is their heavy use of the Ford vans, you wouldn't expect those to be used on a daily basis with driving around and patrolling. Might I ask one more question of you? If you had to give an estimate, how many Crown Vics do you see with hubcaps compared to the ones with just steel rims?
  16. You could also go with an older caprice...*cough* *cough*

  18. Easy on the emoticons pal. One of the is just enough.
  19. Well the first issue is probably the trying to save in game. If your on duty while saving a game then you'll most likely crash or you wouldn't be able to load that save again. The alt+tab think I'm in the dark about. I don't know what the issue would be there. The issue with choosing the vehicle, is it at the police station? If so then either you've installed some high poly modded cars or you've installed too many modded cars. The only being able to switch to three vehicles could be due to the fourth vehicle being too high poly to load and the map disappearing as well. Would you mind giving links to all the modded vehicles you installed?
