  1. So.. here are some uppr. files you can put in... http://www.lcpdfr.co...fd-bunker-coat/ http://www.lcpdfr.co...ny-bunker-coat/ Is this what you need?
  2. I've had this thought too. But just like Break said, it wouldn't wind down like a normal Q or E-Q. Although what I have done is created an air horn to replace the electronic horn so when I press Y I have a true air horn I can clear intersections with (: it's pretty cool. It wouldn't be hard to get a Q-siren sound. The hard part is getting it to loop and still sound normal.. I've done it before for my own personal use but lost the file. So good luck if you're going to try!
  3. Use Spark IV and import the .wtd and .wft files into your vehicles.img.
  4. I've tried many options out first hand. From what I experenced, Fraps would never work correctly for me. It would record for about half a second and stop. DxTory nnever recorded my audio correctly and a lot of my videos had no commentary. Right now I am using Bandicam and it is working very nicely. It doesn't lag my game at all and it records just as clear as my game settings are. Here's a video I did using Bandicam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0y9qRY5OFY&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1&safe=active EDIT: Greetings to the guy who lives in the county next to me ^ lol.
  5. What are your game settings at? You may need to lower them if the car is to high poly.
  6. It's not. It's for future reference and just so I'd be able to do it.
  7. Hello all, I am new to ZModeler2 and I have a few questions that I hope someone can help explain to me. 1) How to mirror my vehicle and attach points 2) How to separate parts 3) When and how to add lights 4) Applying textures I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
  8. I'm assuming the file names are different since you have EFLC.
  9. What are you trying to do? How are you trying to do it? What are you trying to accomplish?
  10. Well, if you find another player model you like simply change the files' names to match the ones of the firefighter. Then import them into Spark IV.
  11. What exactly are you looking for? I have made a few different coat textures. Are you looking to change the model completely or just a new skin? Here's a couple I made if this is what you're looking for: I'd be happy to make whatever you're looking for.
  12. The truck is looking great Hilth0! As for the skins, I was planning on making them myself but with that said, I was also going to include a bunch of different ones upon release. I know it's way into the future but let me know what you want to see come out. @Statikzx - Thanks a lot. I can honestly say, I am equally surprised as to how the model is coming out. I only registered this program a week ago and I'm already this far. Although I wouldn't be anywhere without the help of everybody here. I suggest giving it a try. The programs only a measly $22 and if you know anything about drafting/engineering then it shouldn't be all that hard to get a hold of. To answer your question, I have no life at all. On weekdays I'll spend around 5-6 hours brainstorming and/or actually drawing it up. On Weekends I'll spend as much time I feel like until I'm tired of working. So probably another 5 or 6 hours combined. Don't expect to be waiting months and months for the finished product. We're working as hard as we can.
  13. Just to set things straight: Yes I will be adding a new LED package. This is going to be a Tower/Aerial, whatever you prefer. It is going to resemble the picture on the right. For everybody offering to help, we appreciate it and If we experience any trouble in those fields we will be sure to contact you. Thanks for your support!
  14. Appreciate the help and suggestions. I know I kind of already asked this before, but I really feel like I'm doing something wrong. Right now my model is all one big piece. In other words, everything is attached together. It is supposed to be like that? I want to be sure before I go any further with this. I just downloaded a light bar just to play around with it and it was broken up into different pieces where there would be different textures. Was I supposed to do the same for things like the door handles, bumper, headlights, etc. Someone please brief me on the "texture applying" part. I'm clueless, thanks guys.
  15. Day 3: @stevenew95 I was sure planning on mounting new LED lights. I had something similar to your video in mind. I am either going to have just the two in the front, or add two more behind them facing sideways. But I saw how the truck in the video had two in the very back of the cab, I think that it would just look weird with this model. @Sasrical, @Andre Amorim, @srgt.scales I appreciate you all wanting to help with the cause, although I already have a few people lined up to do beta testing when the time comes. If I do need anymore people for anything I will be sure to contact you first. I have come across another question. Is it possible to "glue" an already created object like a light bar to the truck without connecting the vertices? I'm sure there's an easier way, that's why I'm asking. Thanks.
  16. Today's progress: One question: Right now everything is attached as one "face." When the time comes, how am I supposed to add the textures if it's all one giant face? Was I supposed to make it a seperate "part?" Thanks in advance.
  17. 2000 Pierce Dash Aerial [WIP] 29/04/2013 Greetings fellow modders and GTA enthusiasts: I am here to announce that I will be working hard to create a 2000 Pierce Dash Aerial for GTA IV. I have created numerous 'Fire Dept.' related modifications before but nothing more than just simple textures or sirens. As I'm sure you've noticed, all of the new vehicle mods that are coming out now in days seem to consist of CVPIs, CVPIs and more CVPIs. If you know anything about me or have seem any of my YouTube videos you know I'm defentily more interested in the 'Fire' side of things. That's why I am super determined to create something new and different to please myself and the small audience of people that are just like me. I am completely new to ZModeler2. Infact, I only registered it today. Yes, I know what you're thinking, but don't worry. I am willing to learn everything I need to know inorder to make this a reality and I am hoping that I can count on all of your guys' help too. At the moment I am still watching tutorials so I at least have the basics to this program down. Here is a picture of the rig I am working on creating. Although, I am making a few changes including a new LED lighting package. Feel free to suggest other stuff that would improve it as well. If I'm going to put the time into making this I am going to do it right. I'm not saying it's going to be easy but it's going to be worth it in the end. If you know of any good tutorials or have any good advice of your own I'd really appreciate it. In addition, if anybody knows of any exitsing parts (i.e. Federal-Q, Bell, Lights etc.) that you wouldn't mind sharing I'd be more than happy to give you credit. Please leave your feedback, thanks!
