  1. Yeah I know what you mean. Only difference is this one telescopes straight up versus unfolding. Although I want to look into it because I just recently downloaded a detective CVPI and what was interesting was, when your lights were off the visor and visor light was up but when you turned your lights on, it flipped down. So there may be some hope to this!
  2. Thanks Chase! Glad you're looking forward to it. It seems a lot more people are getting into the FD side of things now. Oh oh oh oh... gotcha. There is a telescoping flood light like that one hidden in the top. But when it's stored away you wouldn't be able to tell what it is and correct me if I'm wrong but there isn't a way to have appear up when you turn the scene lighting on, is there?
  3. I LOVE how the visor flips down when you turn the lights on. That was an amazing idea.
  4. Okay, okay, I take back what I said lol. I never really explored all the extra stuff added/changed in v7. That's really convenient though. Thanks for telling me.
  5. Okay. I wouldn't mind taking a look.
  6. I'll give it a shot. It's pretty basic and shouldn't take that long at all. If you have any other details on how you want the skin (unit #, custom stuff, etc.) made PM me. Otherwise I'll make it identical to the Tahoe in the pictures. Let me know! -WBRPD
  7. I don't think it's a Federal Signal because of the pitch. Most likely Whelen.. as for the model I have no idea.
  8. That's pretty cool! I was planning on putting the scene lighting on the sides and back like the actually truck has: making them be wig-wags to you can make them steady, since ELS 7 nolonger has that scene lighting feature.
  9. Thanks to CHFDCRAB's help, here is the pretty much completed body of the rescue! Feedback is encouraged!
  10. I'm still looking for some clear cut help because, as you can see I have only have half of a truck. I guess you get to see a bit of a glimpse on the progress, although I only wanted to share the paper mess that is my desk. Still hard at work, don't worry! Also, a new ladder has been decided on so check the first post for details.
  11. Well unless you're going to dedicate a specific siren (wail, yelp, etc.) to a specific vehicle (police car, fire truck, etc.) than you'll have to switch out sirens depending on what you feel like driving. Also, I'm just wondering, are all 101 of your posts written like that? I suggest using periods and stuff so other people don't have to sit here and translate it themselves. Also they'll take you more seriously.
  12. First off try making it 16-bit. If that doesn't work try importing them into a new horns file. The one your using now may just be corrupt. I've had that happen. Also just to correct the statement from above, only the wail (siren 1) is 6-7 seconds. The rest are less. But you shouldn't be having length problems if it's less than a second. EDIT: I'd be happy to play around with it if you'd like.
  13. The siren was edited in.
  14. Oh. I can't hear it good enough to tell whether or not it's edited too or not. I've made a similar horn to replace the electronic air horn. A buddy of mine uses it in his videos:
  15. I think it was edited in.
  16. If you guys want to see some progress pictures, than someone with some ZModeler experience is going to have to explain to me how to mirror and align/attach properly...
  17. I know but I was just confused.. obviously when I'm done I'm going to release it..? Lol. Nevermind.
  18. I didn't know if you were being sarcastic before or what lol.
  19. I'm making something similar.
  20. Glad everybody's looking forward to the pack! As for the rescue I'm already pretty far along with the non walk-in I'm doing. Plus I don't like the look of the Velocity, sorry. Although you will be happy to know the Expedition's going to look very similar to yours. There will be no roof racks, all red light bar, black running board grille and bumper and LEDs in the mirrors and front corners. The only major difference is there will be no pushbar in the front. I was also planning on installing LEDs in the grille and a few along the running board. I think you're gonna like it!
  21. Yeah well.. that's going to involve scripts and stuff. The reason none are getting done is because nobody can get it to work right.
  22. Thanks! We'll see what others think of the trucks too.
