Bicycle patrols are on a trial run in the Paleto Bay District, Sheriff Stone said "the bicycle patrol units will increase the remit of the office, we can be actively out in the community enguaging with residents whilst covering ground not accessible by conventional transport"

Welcome to Inside the LSCSO, Today we pay visit to the aviation unit. Having just received new funding to replace the outdated squirrel helicopter previously in service with the office The unit has had a complete overhaul. Flight officer Jones can be seen here with the new addition to the fleet, the Euro copter EC135. Not only have the unit received a new helicopter, the unit has moved base to Vespucci Heliport. The move is in line with current budget requirements and it is estimated that the move with save the office $50,000 per year. The new helicopter is equipped with a movable ball camera turret,with live television broadcast link to enable deputies at headquarters the ability to watch live feed from the helicopter. The Camera has the ability to zoom from x10 to x200 magnification and has a full thermal imagery capability. The helicopter is also fitted with a nitesun spot light. Capable of providing day light conditions to deputies on the ground with its 30 million candle power lamp. Further to this the helicopter has a detachable sky shout system to enable deputies to communicate with people on the ground in public order situations and large scale disorder. This helicopter can be utilized in all situations, from tracing missing persons and stolen vehicles, to providing tactical over watch for deputies and assisting in the tactical phase of police pursuits, There isn't anything this helicopter cant be used for !

Los Santos County Sheriff are out in force tonight targeting traffic violations , A Sheriff Deputy stops a vehicle for running a stop sign. Further investigation found the driver to be driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. The driver was taken to the county jail where he is due to appear in court later on tomorrow morning. Deputy Shaw had this to say, " Drink driving will not be tolerated in Los Santos County , Deputies are out here and we will catch up with you , if your going out , designate a driver"

A member of the Los Santos County Sheriff Citizens Patrol looks on at gang graffiti found in a local beauty spot. Gang graffiti is on the rise in LS County, The COP is made up of local volunteers from across the county. Each Volunteer drives a marked vehicle, wears a distinctive uniform and carry's a Sheriffs office personal radio and mobile phone. The Citizens observer patrol uses a simple approach to safeguarding our county neighborhoods through resident involvement. If your interested in joining your local COP unit, please attend one of the open days at the various district stations in Los Santos County, Applicants must be 18 years old and pass relevant background checks. ( part of my LS County pack, the car is abit dodgy to to me until i can be bothered to actually template it, instead of guessing the location of the decals !)
