A Relief are out in force on a day of action in the Chilliad State Wilderness. 3 vehicles were sized for riding off road without displaying a green sticker. Sgt James of A Relief OHET had this to say, " The huge influx of off road vehicle use takes its toll on the county's landscape. No doubt about it, riding these vehicles is a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors, but these vehicles can have a damaging effect on private and public property. Education is the key to safe, legal and responsible off road vehicle recreation. Follow the rules, help us respect and preserve all what this beautiful county has to offer. "

The Metro Narcotics Task Force lines up for a photo! The MNTF is a multi-jurisdictional initiative that San Andreas initiated funding for on 01 April 2016. The unit’s primary focus is the disruption of Drug Trafficking Organizations. Detectives will conduct undercover operations into pharmaceutical traffickers and grow house operations. The unit will benefit the community by arresting and prosecuting offenders thereby disrupting their organizations. Asset forfeiture will be an integral part of any investigations. Sheriff Stone of the BCSO primary partner agency in the MNTF had this to say, “it’s fantastic that that departments can work together incorporating the county and the city in the target of illegal drug trafficking. By working together we have joint knowledge of our offender base and cooperate to bring more swift convictions thus making both the county of Blaine and city of Los Santos Safer” Chief of police Frank Reid said “the unit will be working both in the city and county areas, the unit won’t be stopped by boarders or jurisdiction, if your using drugs or running a grow house, expect the MNTF to be knocking on your door!” We will be following the MNTF in the coming weeks , watch this space!

BCSO Deputies conducting a fellony stop on a wanted nominal. This female is a high ranking gang nominal within the Blaine County Area, The suspect was wanted on a double murder charge from within Los Santos. The suspect was arrested by BCSO deputies and also charged with possession of cocaine. The suspect had $50,000 worth of cocaine hidden in the boot. The suspect alerted deputies after an exchange was made outside a phone box in the Del Perro industrial estate. Deputies followed the vehicle into this parking lot where the felony stop was initiated. The suspect is now at Bollingbroke correctional facility awaiting trial.

When stopped the driver said he was "in a hurry to get to bed" This is the first stop of many after new funding has been received for a traffic saturation event in partnership with the San Andreas Highway Patrol and the BCSO. Here we can see a photo of the BCSO underwater search and recovery team receiving a briefing from the Dive commander prior to entering the water to search for a missing elderly man who went walking in the hills and has yet to return home. The missing persons name is John Smith, he has been missing for 3 days now, his clothes were found by tracker dogs by the bank to the Zancudo River. Blaine County Off highway enforcement deputy seen here with a stopped quad ATV. The vehicle was reported to deputies by a passing walker out enjoying the hills. The rider received a summons to court and had the bike impounded. Deputies are encouraging people to report any illegal off road activity they see within the county, Lets keep our trails a safe environment for all to enjoy ! Team Sgt Potts had this to say " The team actively patrol all off road areas within the county using a range of vehicles, and will activity educate and punish those not obeying the rules" REPORT ILLEGAL OFF ROAD ACTIVITY
