Does RPH start to log something in the logfile before it crashes? If so, please upload that.

Naja. 65 GB = komplett GTA V, nix Update. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass irgendwas schief gelaufen ist. Auf einer "sauberen", funktionioniernden GTA-V-Installation nur LSPDFR installieren ist eigentlich sehr einfach und problemlos. Nun braucht es mal paar mehr Infos. Was wurde genau installiert, wie, Fehler? Screenshots, Infos zum System, GTA V bei Steam oder standalone? usw.

Hey there! I am a 19 yo computer science student. I have been playing LCPDFR and LSPDFR for quite some time and I have never thought about doing something own when it comes to modding/scripting for games. But times can change I guess In february @alexguirre told me that everybody can be a dev. I will be an software developper in about 4 years (at least thats the plan) and I decided to take a look into scripting and Hopefully give this great community something more! I am learning Java at university, I hope that will make it a bit easier scince Java and C# are pretty similar. First of all I think its the time to say thank you to all the developers who spend their time into this and make this whole thing possible. And then special thanks to @Albo1125 for taking his time to create this API-basics tutorial! It would be great if someone could have an open eye for this thread and possibly help me when I have some questions! For now on, I would like to know how I can spawn something on a specific location and facing a spec. direction (for example like the cars in a "Traffic Stop Backup Requiered" callout (AssortedCallouts). Tanks!

Das ist mehr oder weniger normal. Auch das mit dem "...has been loaded" ist Normal, da werden nur RPH-Plugins angezeigt. Die LSPDFR-Plugins werden von LSPDFR verwaltet. Trotzdem sehe ich bei dir spontan keinen Fehler.

Nun, eigentlich sollte LSPDFR seine plugins automatisch laden. Was noch einen Versuch wert ist: Über die RPH-Konsole mal "UnloadPlugin LSPDFR.dll" und dann "LoadPlugin LSPDFR.dll" Bei Gelegenheit auch mal einen screenshot von "plugins" und "plugins/lspdfr" machen!

Was heißt das? Hattest du schonmal Callouts installiert, die jetzt nicht mehr gehen? Was du bis jetzt genannt hast, sind ausschließlich Plugins für RPH, die im "plugins"-Ordner liegen. Welche hast du denn nun für LSPDFR installiert, unter plugins -> lspdfr?

I know this problem with this Vehicle Pack. Unfortunatly, I dont know whats causing this, it might be something with the light settings. Just spawn new cars, sometimes the lights infront arent on.

Wenn es vorher alles gut lief, gibt es eigentlich keinen Grund, warum es plötzlich anders sein sollte, wenn es von der Grafikkarte kommen soll. Es kamen natürlich Rockstar Updates, aber da wüsste ich spontan nichts von bekannten veränderungen der performance. Ist zwar nervig, aber im zweifelsfall mal stufenweise die plugins installieren: d.h. zunächst mal einen blanke LSPDFR installation anspielen, dann plugin 1, 2,... Wenn es bei schritt 1 schon probleme gibt, dann können wir zumindest scripte ausschließen.

Hm. So gut muss ne der Rechner nicht sein für GTA. Ich habe "nur" eine Radeon HD 7870 ghz, i5 4430 und 8 GB RAM und es läuft eigentlich problemlos. ich tippe eher auf was anderes.

Yop, der PC sollte schon reichen dafür. WIe gesagt, ich würde mal versuchen die Events auszuschalten. Ansonsten wüsste ich nicht wirklich, was da probleme verursacht. Zumal jetzt nicht gerade die ressourcenintensivsten plugins installiert sind.

PC daten und installierte plugins wären hilfreich. Da du Callouts geupdatet hast, würde ich zudem noch vermuten, dass es an Welt-Events liegt, die von den Plugins gestartet werden - z.b. die von LawCallouts sorgen gerne mal für Problemchen.

I cant imagine that in a situation like this, your first thought is "lets go back and wait what happens". You dont even have more than 1-2 seconds to decide what you are going to do. maybe the first thought in this situation was "i will die if i dont react now" or something. i honestly dont want to be in a situation like that ever. yes, there will always be a better way to react, but can you blame him for the way he did? i think most people would have reacted similar if it was their live getting in danger

First of all, I didnt thought about using the term "gas pistol" corretly because of language differences. A "Gas Pistol" in germany is a gun that looks like a real one, but its gas- powered. but nevertheless, these things are extremly dangerous and can injur/kill people easily. Second: I dont want to justify the reaction of the officer, 5 shots at the door was maybe too much. But in my mind, I prefer the situation went the way it did instead of maybe getting the officers injured. The owner of the weapon did a big misstake and brought all people "behind that door" in danger with his action. imagine you are the officer in front of the door: wouldnt it be like a "him or me"-situation? now i'm not going to argue that identifying yourself as a police officer could've prevented an escalation, though i'm not entirely sure that it didn't happen in the first place and simply wasn't mentioned by OP(?). -> I dont really know about that. But even if they didnt identify themself as police that doent give anybody the right to shot out of their door.

So you wouldnt do anything when somebody opens a door infront you and shot from behind it, especially when you dont know what gun it is and you have to assume it is a real one? I can understand your point of view but isnt his reaction just a logical consequence? Isnt the one shoting first guilty?

Some weeks ago, something happended in Bremen, Germany. There was a party in a private appartment. Later, a group of uninvited people tried to join the party and became agressive and riot in front of the house. So the people inside the appartment called the police. A bit later, somebody was knocking on the door of the apartment again. So the owner of the apartmet decided to take his gas pistol, open the door a bit and shoot outside. But this time, it was the police standing infront of the door. So one of the officers fired 5 shots through the closed door, injuring a 17 year old girl standing behind it (she survived). Now, of corse, following german law, the officer is temporally suspended and they investigate this case. Even if i dont think, he will get a punsihment, this summs up the german usage of police weapons: "Always be ready to use your gun to defend yourself and others, but better think twice about it before you shot because you will get into years of trouble for it". In the US, this would be no question I guess. Even if someone died during that "shooting", nobody would have really cares because it was self-defense and thats it. Shit happens. Gone sutpid. For me, it feels like, a german police officer has in a sitation like this only the choice between "Defend yourself and get years of trouble" or "Get injured or killed". And this really sucks. We all know the discussion about police beheavior in the US and I guess there are tons of things that go wrong. And I dont say, I would like to have this system in germany aswell. But dont we need kind of a middle way? Because in my mind, one thing is sure: The handeling of events like this in germany is too strict. What do you guys think about this?

Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. State which version of the game you're using (Steam or Retail) Post the RagePluginHook.log in a spoiler tag (Please be courteous and only include the relevant information). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. You need to meet the required system specifications for the mod to work properly. Post what other mods you are using. Post a screenshot of your GTA V Game directory. Mit diesen Schritten sollte man eine Supportanfrage stellen. Auf Einzeiler will und kann ich nicht antworten

Es gibt ein Plugin namens KeepCalm, dass das "Ausrasten" der KI z.b. bei Schießereien deutlich einschränkt. Allerdings sollte das trotzdem auch ohne nicht so sein wie beschrieben. Ferndiagnose wird aber schwierig, wie wäre es, wenn du mal so eine stelle kurz aufnimmst und das video zeigst, damit wir besser sehen können, was passiert?

Richtig. Plugins für LSPDFR, wie etwa alle Callouts oder z.b. Traffic Policer, kommen in den Plugins/LSPDFR-Ordner. Nicht verwirren lassen, wenn der nicht da ist, dann erstell den einfach.

These cars are only for promotion and parades and stuff, as far as I know they arent used during regular police work

Neuinstallation ist (besonders wenn man ne CD Version hat^^) immer ne gute Idee, um sowas zu lösen. Woher das Problem aber kommt, kann man so nicht einfach sagen. Von LSPDFR und co aufjedenfall nicht.

They look pretty cool. As I said before, I really like that Germany is slowly but surely starting to revise the design of the cars here....they will never look like in the US or australia but we are on a good way
