  1. I've been trying to look for a good audio source to get the siren sound from for the Mastercom B to make it but haven't had any luck thus far. Will let you know if I find anything.
  2. I'm pretty sure it's the same the whole way through as far as sound goes, at least it sounds like it to me. It's just the angle it was recorded at which changes the sound of any siren.
  3. I don't think there is any. FS uses the same tones for the 2000 across the board I think but not 100% sure.
  4. Good to see the US trying to catch up -- 10 years behind as usual. Should've been this way for years.
  5. just a little note. I got the wail tone to sound a lot more raw by editing the option 1 wail I included with pitch adjustment and a couple other things :). Will update later.
  6. i took it directly from a demo of the siren so it's straight up raw audio unlike most ss2000 sirens. Probably where the descrepency comes in.

Originally converted from my GTA IV version of the mod with a couple adjustments. Enjoy.
  7. ^Yeah you're right his does sound pretty good! I like his wail more but I like my yelp/pierce tone a bit better.

Whelen CenCom siren I converted from my CenCom siren on GTA IV. Option 1 is the original files while Option 2 has the Police Bike's wail as the primary siren for those that wish to use that instead. Just open your resident.rpf and drag in the vehicles.oac.
  8. http://wccftech.com/rockstar-eula-bans-players-modding-gta/ This is disgusting. All because people can pay in game money for real money is probably the only reason why're they're doing this and they care about losing a few dollars that would be chump change to them, and yes this applies to both online and offline.
  9. R*'s goal isn't to prevent cheating as much as it is to protect their bottom line. People can pay real money for in game money. If GTA IV had the same function, we all would've been banned for using the trainer and LCPDFR online, no question in my mind. I personally used the trainer online for my police clan which wasn't causing any harm, now we can't do that and we're stuck with what we have in the content creator, which isn't much of anything at all.
  10. Basically any mods installed for SP or MP will get you banned at this point which is freaking ridiculous. All because R* wants to make an extra dollar so people can pay real money for in game money. Didn't know I bought an EA game.
  11. You'll be able to run mainly high. I have almost the same hardware as you.
  12. Here's the difference: GTA IV feels like a Mercury Grand Marquis from the 1980s while GTA V feels like a Ferrari Enzo.
  13. It's only a Dual core so I doubt it. Video card maybe on bare minimum, maybe.
  14. I would prefer a mix between V and IV because IV was too boaty and GTA V is too Midnight Club.
  15. The odds of getting banned are probably next to nothing as LONG as you use it in a private session with friends for rp and stuff and not to cause harm to others by stats hacking with it etc. By the time modding takes full effect r* will be stuck banning just about everybody since not too many people won't use mods in another six month this to a year's time. Technically even lspdfr there would be a risk of being banned online since it's not original content so it will be interesting to see how everything plays out. Sadly most people (probably not on this site but others) use trains to harm other players' games :(.
  16. Sadly this or our lives would be much easier.
  17. This isn't to advertise a clan or anything, this is to help our people who run clans and/or police RP groups and would like an easy way to obtain most police vehicles online. 1. Download and install the trainer with online over-ride. 2. Launch a CLOSED free roam session. 3. Turn on invincibility (only temporary). 4. Turn up your wanted level to 5 stars and wait for a cruiser or whatever you want to respond to your location and steal it. 5. Disable your wanted level and turn on never wanted and disable your invincibility. 6. Fix your vehicle with the trainer. 7. You should have a cruiser of your choice to use :). The only disadvantage is that blips are visible up until a good distance so I'd advise people turn off their radar.

  19. I'd love to figure out how to change the sirens as well.
  20. Somebody got it working online, just no link yet: Personally for ME I would like to see it online because of my clan and we need it but I also understand how it will ruin everything else as far as online goes.
