No. There is absolutely no difference in stability, functionality, hooking process or anything else. P.S I always recommend people use the manual install but not because of stability etc.

Just btw whilst most people prefer manual install because it allows more control over the install process it makes absolutely no difference to the troubleshooting process.

Add your GTA folder to your antivirus's exclusions list then restart your computer.

it is possible you haven't downscaled enough... go to where the bulk of your replace cars are installed in openiv and send a screenshot so I can see the sizes of the files...

Sorry I missed it. I'd start with updating these two plugins (in yellow) There is nothing in your log indicating any sort of error - once you've updated those two plugins, go in game again and when it happens again upload the new log. p.s. if this is happening after accepting a callout make sure you are completely dismissed from the callout once it is finished. Most callouts have the option to Press the END key to forcibly end them.

if renaming your mods folder stopped your problem that means unfortunately something in your mods folder is causing your issue. Either a mod you installed or a file you edited. If you can remember what you installed or edited most recently then you can try and remove it or restore the vanilla version. Otherwise I'm afraid you're gonna have to restart your mods folder, as it is impossible for us to diagnose what's actually causing the issue. The only other thing it could be is if you recently installed a large amount of addon cars you may need to install a custom game config and heapadjuster.

1. Except for EUP I always advise against using OIVs but it is pretty easy to open up an OIV with a zipping program and see what it edits 2. Whilst obviously best case scenario is that you have a backed up version of every single state and change of your game/mods its simply not realistic. Most people are dealing with limited space and cannot afford to have multiple copies of their mods folders for a lot even just the technical aspect of making/restoring backups is not realistic. So whilst your advice is good in theory in practice its not really. Best to just test between each new installation. p.s. in regards to modified files you shouldn't be replacing the whole file with the new one. because if you do then you are disregarding any previous modifications either way.
