I dont know about some of you but i cant seem to get bored. Theres just so much that goes on in the city on a recurring basis that I always find myself doing things, or having different situations go down. Heck sometimes ill take a break stop at the burger joint "and in realife get me something to eat at the same time" and some times i even see npcs fight each other and I have to get involved. Would be nice if you could arrest two people at once and be able to put them in the back of the cruiser (future additon to mod :) ) But yeah theres always something to do.

I'm glad someone asked this before I made a post on it, its something ive been scratching my head about. Ive downloaded to me a few really nice models, even from Bugs because I utterly love what he does with police models, almost accurate in a sense. But I have yet to get a car that has the reverse lights flash (red and blue)(white and white) not to mention having the break lights flash also. Would be nice because most police units these days have that feature. For me its a more realistic thing Id like to see more of.

love the vid, the car is nice too. Video is something id like to do for my rp story but i have no idea how to do it. I have fraps but not sure how it all works how to upload to youtube if you need to get or buy space ect.. yeah little foggy on all of it. I will say I had abit of a giggle when you were talken about safety at the start but you took out the light post hahha. Good video :)

Well kinda doing a story with this, just need to find a few more things "in game" that would be nice to bring more to the story. As Trevor's shift comes to a conclusion for the night, he comes home to sit back and relax. Checks his mail watching Weazel News and takes a swig from his cold beer. As he flips through his mail, thoughts of the day rush through his head. Wondering how his colleague is doing in the hospital after the incident earlier in the day, to wondering why liberty city can be pretty f't up at times. This is something Trevor does on a regular basis when he gets home. As he is going through the mail and thinking of events of the day, he notices a letter from his father, Daryl. He sets the other mail beside him on the small brown table he has next to his black leather recliner chair. He firmly grabs his letter opener and opens the letter up waisting no time at all. He unfolds the letter and begins to read. Dear Son, As I sit here I thought id take the time to write you. I hope everything is going well for you in liberty city. We have had alot of reports through the news on what goes on there, and I'm always worried about you son. Your mother and I are doing well. We are looking to be moving out there to be closer to you, we miss you greatly. Its something we have been thinking long and hard about. Your mother, as all mothers do, worry so much about their sons. She misses getting to see you after work, as I miss going to the field to catch some balls with you. Jeff says to say hi, he will be going to the academy this year and hopes to be as great as a cop as you. I cant say I didnt put a good word for him with the instructors at the school. I think he will do well. He also mentions that you should give him a call some time to catch up on somethings. The weather here has been cold, I hear its really nice out there in liberty city. Though I do hear it really pours down at times. Getting back onto the move of things, if we really do decide to move we most likely will sell the house. I know its been in our family for such a long time, but if we do move we just want to be able to be close to you and have nothing on our minds. But give us a call when you get a chance and we can go over this idea with you, because what you think also matters to us. Other then that things here at home have been quiet.. being retired has its perks but also its negatives. Trying to pick up some hobbies, which your mother keeps naggin me about hahha. Seems I tend to follower her around the house abit much, but thats just because shes a good looker. Anyways we hope your doing well, we miss you greatly, and keep safe son. Me and your mother love you alot. Your Father As Trevor finishes reading the letter from his father, a great smile unfolds on his face. He then puts the letter down next to him and sits there for a few minutes while soaking in the information. As his mind wonders about his parents possibly moving here, he slowly glances over at the tv to notice a report on how the injured police officer is doing after a police, gang shooting. Trevor grabs the remote and begins to turn the volume up on the tv. Jim Harrison of the Weazel news team goes on to mention how the injured officer is doing.. "The officer is recuperating in liberty city hospital tonight after a police, gang shoot out took place at the docks. 8 gang members where shot dead during the incident. Chief of Police David Edwards has this to say "We will not stand idly by while the gangs of this fair city try to take control! The liberty city sheriffs police department will continue to enforce the laws, and we will strike at the heart of the matter! I have nothing else to comment at this time"."So there you have it folks, the sheriffs police department is stepping up there fight against crime, and this reporter is defently happy about that". As the report comes to an end, there is a sign of relief from Trevor that his co worker is getting better. Just as the relief starts to settle over him, the phone rings. Trevor starts to move towards the kitchen area to grab the phone. He then moves his hand to grab the phone and brings it up to his ear. "Hello". "Hey Trevor its Mike"."Hey Mike whats going on?""Me and the guys are going to see Donald at the hospital, care to come join us?""Yeah for sure let me get my stuff togeather and Ill meet you guys at the hospital.""Awsome will see you there Trevor." Trevor realising he hasnt changed out of his work gear, decides to not bother changing and goes to the living room to grab his car keys. He grabs the keys and walks out the front door. As he walks out the door he has his hand on the door handle and as he moved out the door closes it firmly behind him. He turns around and puts his key into the key lock and locks the door. He gets to the garage and firmly grabs the handle of the garage and swings the door up. He moves around to the driver side of his vehicle and climbs in. Starts his car up and looks behind as he moves the car in reverse. Firmly pushes on the break and stops. Places the car into park and climbs out and heads towards the garage. Closes the door and hops back into his car and heads towards the hospital.

no worries, none taken, gotta have a sense of humour around here :) i couldnt stop lauphin eather, good stuff.

Bored of game, never. Im always finding things to do. Imagination, its just a grand thang :P. Things I may do at times.. - street patrol "foot patrol" (basically park my car in the center of where I intend to patrol and then go out and walk around) - check alleys for crimes, suspicious activity - check for "white dots" and help other police officers - speed traps - arrest hookers for prostitution ^ just a minor list of things to do when "bored" :)

Well "in story" his father bought it for him for his accomplisments through the force, since after trevors father inherited the money after his father passed away (which was alot) he had more then enouph to afford something trevor would like. Im sure the insurance isnt to bad on it :P

I thought it was time to just create a new thread devoted to my police officers "story" and the things that go on with him in game. I love to RP, hope Im not alone hehe. I explained in my original thread, a little about officer wilkinson "which should be closed" since it was just titled "my first day in lcpdfr". Anyways this is the story of him and his journey. I hope you all enjoy :) -Quick Background- Trevor Wilkinson grew up in Austin Texas. His families background were eather ex military or serving with the fine men and woman of the police services. His father, Daryl Wilkinson was a State Trooper for 24 years. Now retired. Trevor's mother, Alizabeth Wilkinson was in the US Airforce where she was a Military Cop for 10 years. His father inherited his fathers wealth when his father passed away. Daryl's father passed away from Cancer. Trevor took it really hard for many years seeing as how close he was with his grandfather. Trevor has no brothers or sisters, mostly alot of cousins who are spread all over the United States. Trevor went to Lone Star College System Law Enforcement Academy where he went through the process then later made it into the state police. After 13 years serving with the state police, he was later posted to Liberty City Sheriffs Police Department. Trevor now resides close to work and since his promotion to seargent his father bought him a new car to show how proud he was of him and his accomplisments over the years. Trevor has no kids or wife, just a single man doing what he loves. Trevor wants to continue to serve law enforcement to the best of his abilities and hopes that one day he will meet the right gal. Iam about 90% sure I know the answer for this but i just want to make sure that 90, is 100%. Ok question is, if you download a car and its intended to be, lets say police2, can you rename that car to say police and use it for that selected spot? Trying to setup a nice little police layout of cars so just want to make sure I can :) Was thinking if i rename the file to something else it may conflict with certain perameters. I found the above ones which i downloaded were the crown vic, tahoe, and the one in the pic above to be really realistic. Dash cam, shot gun, and the light setup was perfect for RP. Overall was very pleased with what I Dl'd
