Nice, Its not that i crash its just that eventually the buildings and roads fall apart. But eventually it just gets so bad that it might as well crash. Ive limited myself to what ive installed, trafflic flow, modded two of the weapons, especially the m4 as i prefer a more tactical looking weapon. And Im only using 2 vehicles that are modded, noss, fbi, so I have one patrol unit and one unmarked. So far its doing well and havent had much issues. Ive heard people talking about editing the game to allow it to use as much memory (by applying some sort of command code) as possible (due to all the polygon counts some of the vehicles have) which usually is the main cause of issues, but from what ive heard it can cause pc issues. Would be nice if we could mod all the cars in game including police and not worry about it going nuts. This game could look so unreal with all the mods out there.

Yeah using v6, ill give v5 a shot while doing the other stuff. Ive noticed a big change now that i only role one car "els model" instead of having all 3. Figure what ill do is if I want to change it up ill just go over that file. If anything goes wrong i can just grab my backup and redo it.

Thanx guys for some feedback on this. Ive tryed to limit what I use, but yeah I didnt think 3 els models would effect it much, guess not haha. Alright Ill try to limit what I use from now on, and try some of what you guys have suggested. I have used trafflicflow which I really love, good way to mix the cars up so theres not to many of the nice ones. But I like that idea using the fbi cars ect as your main cars, limits whats out there. Ill give it a shot and see how it works :) Cheers Laz

Can anyone opperate FR stable with no issues? Is it possible? Why Im asking is that for some reason or another, ive installed gta numerous times, I always back up my files in the chance something goes wrong, but when ever i do a clean install and only add the bare essentials, acouple cars (3 police ones) and (2 weapon appearance changes) which to me seems pretty basic, the game will run ok for awile then I get the buildings start disapearing thing. My machine can handle this game, its a quad core, with 8 gigs of ram, runs on windows 7 64bit, lots of harddrive space ect.. I mean I can run battlefield3 on this baby with no issues. And part of me is getting fustrated because I love roleplaying as a cop, Im from a cop family so police interactions and cars and what not really intrigue me and its something Im into. My father actually collected roof lights and different police department emblems, and I grew up on it hehhe, so being able to roleplay as a cop in this game is something I really enjoy.. but at each turn it seems I cant :( Anyways just asking for maybe some advice on how to actually run FR without any problems. Found the file and figured out how to edit it all, but man, modding this game is soo touchy. I replaced armoured with a new skin, and after that had nothing but issues. So luckly i always backup my files before editing, so replaced it and all is well again. Its like you can only add only a few cool things before the system goes nuts. Right now I only have FR, traffic flow, 2 police cars (traffic unit and a highway unit), 1 tahoe, and one unmarked, 3 civilian cars downloaded into the game, and seems to be fine, anything more then that then it gimps up.

Not sure if there is a fix for this, but could it be your running just to many mods? Also you dont need to make two threads on the issue, just for future reference :)

Hey guys, Ok so ive looked around to find this info on my own without any success. Iam trying to understand how to add new "skins" (clothing) for the police officer selections (which i think theres eather 5-7 selections) that FR gives. Is there away to add more to one selected group of facial setups or do you have to overide whats in the files and replace them with new ones? What Id like to do is... Have my main officer be able to have a undercover (jeans,vest,hat) setup, have a swat tactical set, his normal "day to day" police outfit (which is given through the FR mod), and finally an off duty set. Is this possible or no. And finally, Iam not sure if i need a certain program other then spark iv to add to w/e file the clothing selections are in but if I do, what program? And what file contains the clothing selections in? Ive found the weapons and cars thus far, just not sure what the clothing one is labeled. Thanx in advance. Cheers Laz
