  1. Will do. I never even considered it until someone posted about that a page or 2 back. I'll make it happen. 🙂
  2. Hey there. 2.0 comes with the ability to cycle through 49 walkstyles using whatever keybind you assign this feature inside the NPC.INI file. No menus. It just cycles through all 49, one by one, until you end up back on your LSPDFR default. Whatever walkstyle you land on will be the one you use throughout your session, until you cycle to a new one. If you find a particular walkstyle as your cycling through them, and want that to always be your default when loading up LSPDFR, then add that walkstyle name into the INI file and it will automatically assign that WS when you go on duty. You can still cycle through the walkstyles even if you assign a default. Ideally, if you wanted to only have say 3 or 4 to cycle through depending on your situation, you can remove all the walkstyles you don't want inside the INI file and be able to quickly cycle through a short list. I have a video on my YT page showing this feature.
  3. mp_freemode as well, since those are assigned by STP/PR as well for backup calls. Thanks so much! I'm happy to report that neither one is needed to enjoy NPCI 2.0. If you're playing w/o PR or STP, my recommendation would be to install the PR version, as it has the cleanest code and would perform the best in this scenario. 🙂
  4. Hey! Thanks for your comment! Yes sir, a LOT of work went into this plugin. I think I lost some valuable years on my life from the lack of sleep I've had over the past 6 months. With a full time job, late nights were the only time I had to work on this, outside of some weekend time. It's definitely possible for AI voices to be implemented in a future version. I'll be going all out on V3. My goal is for full on natural conversation without scripted XML's. No more memorizing or customizing phrases, just flat out conversational AI. 🙂 Thanks man. I really appreciate the kind words! I'm so glad you're enjoying 2.0, and that I was able to help get you up and running just in time for V2 to drop! If you need anything at all my friend, you know I got you! 🙂 After a couple of hours of testing, I came up with a working solution and it's already been implemented. In the next dot release (sometime towards the end of next week - maybe sooner), there will now be a new toggle option in the NPCI.ini file to enable (or disable) a blacklist feature that removes all police PEDS and emergency personnel from being flagged by any NPCI action or interaction. Help is coming! 🙂
  5. Me too. I would definitely miss it if it wasn't there. Thanks for sharing your input. After giving this some more thought, I might have a solution. I'm testing it now actually. I'm going to see if I can implement some kind of switch in the ini file that users can activate if they want to blacklist officers and emergency type personnel from their interactions. That way it becomes an option rather than a forced update, giving the users the freedom to choose their style of NPCI interaction. Hopefully it works.
  6. Thanks so much for the kind words! I worked really hard to give the community something even more unique than what version 1 had to offer, and I hope I've done that with version 2.0. I feel I can push it even further in the next major release (GTA 6 maybe 😉). I hope this new version brings you as much joy as it does for me! Thanks for the feedback. It's looking more and more like my next update (sometime this coming week) will include this change. Appreciate your time in providing the scenario you encountered.
  7. Hey there! Sorry for the troubles you're experiencing. If you hit up my Discord link https://discord.gg/9RMrrvm5qH, I'm happy to help get you up and running. There's a section to report errors and you can upload a copy of your rage log as well so I can investigate. I'll get you sorted out!
  8. Hey there! Changing the language from English to Italian only impacts what language the speech recognition is listening for. Yes, you would need to manually translate the xml's to Italian. Sorry for this inconvenience. I'll look into translating these to a few different languages to help out the community. If you split up the XML's into chunks, it might be possible to run it through ChatGPT. I don't think it will take the XML file as a whole, but it's possible to break them into pieces and run them through for quick translation.
  9. I can look into this. I would be using the same approach though, ChatGPT or maybe Grok. It might be easier to just split it up into a few chunks that ChatGPT will accept, rather than trying to do it in one pass due to the number of lines in the XML file.
  10. You know, I didn't even consider that. Yes, I will see about adding controller support, especially for the voice recognition. I got you. Thank you! I really appreciate that!! I saw you posted on Discord. I'll hit you up there.
  11. Well the great thing about free plugins is... you don't have use it.
  12. Hey there! I really appreciate the kind words! I'm so glad your digging the mod. 🙂 It looks like your edited post shows that you're up and running now(?), so that's great news if so. Yeah, what you're seeing is version 1.0.3's limitations. In the version currently available, the PEDS don't actually do anything that you ask. They only respond with onscreen text. They're not animated in their responses either. The actions/scenarios (handing over their license when asked or shutting off the engine when asked) are features coming in version 2.0, which releases this Friday (11/07). So only a few days away! Let me know if you have any issues. You can hit up NPCI's Discord server and leave me a message there as well. Enjoy!
  13. Sorry for the delay on the release. An issue popped up Sunday for the STP version, but it's been resolved. The release is officially 11/7 (no more delays). I look forward to hearing about your experiences once you've a chance to take it for a spin.
  14. I'm aiming for this weekend. Sunday most likely. 🙂
  15. Hey. Thanks for sharing your excitement! 2.0 will be compatible with both PR & STP. Since both mods are very different from one another in how they were coded, there will be a different NPCI version for each one for optimal compatibility. 🙂
  16. Hey there. Sorry you're having issues. Version 1.0.3 only only uses speech recognition, so you don't have to worry about PR compatibility issues. Are you using English? I see that you're location is Germany. The latest version of Grammar Police uses MSP, whereas my plugin uses WSR. You might need to enable Windows Speech Recognition on your PC if you haven't already. If you join my Discord, I'd be happy to work with you on the issue. I'd like to get a copy of your rage log so I can see what errors are being generated. The Discord channel link is posted towards the top and bottom of my LCPDFR page. I'll get you sorted out.
  17. That's great news! I'm glad you're up and running now and thanks for letting me know! Version 2.0 is a huge leap forward and I can't wait to share it with the community! I'm hoping to release it this weekend. 🙂
  18. Thanks for the confirmation. That's exactly what I needed to know. Did you enable the plugin to load on start in RPH? Since this is a plugin outside of the LSPDFR mod itself, it doesn't automatically load at startup without modifying this through RPH. Make sure you enable it to load at startup in the RPH settings, or you'll have to manually start it in-game using the F4 console (loadplugin NPCI) each time you start your gaming session. This should get you up and running. I hope you enjoy!
  19. Hey Charles. Sorry you're experiencing some issues. No worries, I'll do what I can to get you up and running. Are you seeing any responses onscreen at all when you press and let off the key bind? Even if you don't speak and press the key bind, a default unrecognized message should appear onscreen. It was hard to tell in your description if you're seeing this or not. Also, you shouldn't be hearing any sound either when you press and let off the key bind. There aren't any sound indicators attached to this function. It's compatible with PR, so you're good there. When you get the chance, let me know if you're seeing any onscreen text at all and then I can provide next steps.
  20. Hey lspdfr swat fan. Hope all is well. I'd love to implement this feature for you, but PR's felony stop is their code and programmed action, so it's not possible for me to control this feature. I "can" trigger keybinds by voice command though, which the felony stop action doesn't currently have, but if it gets one in a future update, I'll add it in for you. 🙂
  21. Hey there! Thanks for your message. The ID/license check action is one of the new features in NPCI v2.0, which hasn't released yet. The version currently available for download is the old version 1.0.3, which doesn't have any actions -- only dialog interaction. I'm hoping to release 2.0 this weekend, so stay tuned.
  22. I actually have a "bro" hand shake and hug action in version 2.0. They're not as formal as the ones you're describing, and sadly I don't think any exist for GTA 5, but for the ones that I've included in 2.0, you could script your interaction to achieve this (you'd modify the XML phrases and the desired responses). The PED won't do it automatically when you walk up to them though, as my plugin relies on voice input to trigger an action. I'll double check to see if there are more formal hand shakes and hug actions available in the GTA 5 animations library. If I can find some others that might better match your scenario, I'll add them in before the release. I'll put up a video showing the current actions, so you can at least see what I have in the plugin currently. I'll put it up on YT in the next day or so. Thanks for your suggested feature!
  23. Thank you so much for the kind words. The LSPDFR community has truly enriched my life over the past year, and I'm so grateful I'm able to give something back to show my gratitude. Hopefully my contributions will have the same impact on someone else. The beta testing is going very well, so the launch day will be soon!!
  24. Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry it's not working out for you as good as you hoped. I've been using it for almost 8 months, and I can tell you there is a learning curve, and it takes a little time and practice to get the feel. After a little time though, you'll find it works quite well. Just make sure you're holding down your key bind before you speak, not during or at the same time, and don't let off until the full phrase is spoken. Once you get acclimated to the phrases, your experiences will be much better. I think that's the hardest part of the NPCI learning curve - memorizing the phrases. Also, don't be afraid to customize the "trigger" phrases to something that flows better for you. You can fully customize everything inside of the XML files to suit your style of interaction. I hope your experiences improve. Don't give up! One last note -- the F4 console shows your confidence level when you speak a phrase (for the ones it registers). If it's not above say 75%, you might try making some adjustments to your mic settings to see if that helps.
