1. I ran into this issue the other day, i was strolling around town in my favorite police cruiser when all of a sudden.... My roads and building disapeared.. I could still see light poles people and cars but thats it...... Well after doing some good old fashioned Experimenting it turned out that the The Modded Car I was using was causing all my issues. Im not exactly sure why But my Police cruiser was causing my textures not to load. Whenever I left the area where the cruiser was everything would load like normal... So all I had to do to fix it was to remove and replace the model with a different one... 2. Most of the time Texture issues will be from modded content such as Cars and Weapons. However some Mods and Scripts can cause this too.... 3. If you arent using any modded content try Lowering your draw and visibility distance As this may vary well be the issue. Any vehicle can be added to ELS. Only Sirens work with models that have one. IE Ambulance, Firetruck and police models, etc. To add a custom vehicle such as the Firechief ( Feroci2 ) from the Los Angeles Emergency Pack to the els simply Add the vehicle name to the bottom of the vehicles list and add the values, I usually copy paste the Last settings like the pstockade and just change the name and values. This is super easy and already covered in the Config file but ill post some examples here. When you first get ELS installed your config file will be Default. RED environment lights only pretty much. Even though you have blue/red lights or whatever color on your car the walls and roads will only flash red, Adjusting this is super simple. Example [ POLICE ] <---- The first police car. Default values as you can see are 0 for Lights 1L, 2L, 3L, 4R, and 3 for 7L, 8C, 9R and offset is 0. This means only Red Environment lights ( J ) will be shown and the warning lights ( K ) are going to be amber or yellow. Changing this is easy and can be done on all cars. If your lightbar has Blue lights on the Right and Red lights on the left Change your values to settings #1 and if Red right Blue Left Settings #2 also if you have 1 light color such as Some maybe most European vehicles Change it to settings#3 Settings#1 Left Red, Right Blue. Settings#2 Left Blue, Right Red. Range_LightsP = 99 // Range of primary environment lights <----- ( J ) How bright in distance. Intens_LightsP = 5 // Intensity of primary environment lights <----- ( J ) How Bright they are when you look at them. FlashSoundFx = 1 // Enables or disables ticking sound when lights are active. FlashDelaySP = 0.7 // Flash speed delay for ELS lights in SP (in milliseconds) / higher is slower <---- How fast or slow your lights flicker, 0.7 is what I use it looks better to me. FlashDelayMP = 0.7 // Flash speed delay for ELS lights in MP (in milliseconds) / higher is slower Ai_ELS_SP = 0 // Toggles ELS on/off for AI in SP <------ 1 is ON (Default) 0 is Off. I recommend disabling ai use of ELS for ai reason being and it could just be Me I get Random Crashes after 6 ai ELS enables cars spawn with the lights on. Ai_ELS_MP = 0 // Toggles ELS on/off for AI in MP / Not recommended with other players IF you have any questions just PM me. If you can post a similar error report as the guy above did we can help you, without it we cannot determine if you computer cannot handle gtaiv or if its a scripting issue.. I recommend however Manualing deleting your Gtaiv directory before uninstalling it to guarantee no corrupt files were left over. IE go to C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommon and just delete Grand Theft Auto IV. However on the other hand, Installing Scripts/Mods wrong, not using SparkIV or OpenIV to install Models, Textures, peds, Cars etc... Will also cause crashing by turning perfectly good files into corrupt ones. Ive spent plenty of hours troubleshooting myself. So If you can just give us a little bit more info we can easily help. Scripthook and Scripthook.net Both Are Text documents. Ive been able to run code 2 (Lights only) and have trafic move, I use ELS and LCPFDR so in the lcpdfr controls i use ( / ) to change light modes, If i change to Light mode 3 and Use J to turn my lights on Cars move out of the way like if My sirens were on...
