HOW to add Vehicles to ELS.

 

1. Any vehicle can be added to ELS. Only Sirens work with models that have one. IE Ambulance, Firetruck and police models, etc.

 

To add a custom vehicle such as the Firechief  ( Feroci2 ) from the Los Angeles Emergency Pack to the els simply Add the vehicle name to the bottom of the vehicles list and add the values, I usually copy paste the Last settings like the pstockade and just change the name and values.

HOW to Edit the Config file.

This is super easy and already covered in the Config file but ill post some examples here.

 

When you first get ELS installed your config file will be Default. RED environment lights only pretty much. Even though you have blue/red lights or whatever color on your car the walls and roads will only flash red, Adjusting this is super simple.

 

Example

 

[ POLICE ] <---- The first police car. Default values as you can see are 0 for Lights 1L, 2L, 3L, 4R, and 3 for 7L, 8C, 9R and offset is 0. This means only Red Environment lights ( J ) will be shown and the warning lights ( K ) are going to be amber or yellow. Changing this is easy and can be done on all cars.

 

 If your lightbar has Blue lights on the Right and Red lights on the left Change your values to settings #1 and if Red right Blue Left Settings #2 also if you have 1 light color such as Some maybe most European vehicles Change it to settings#3

Ai_ELS_SP = 0              // Toggles ELS on/off for AI in SP  <------ 1 is ON (Default) 0 is Off. I recommend disabling ai use of ELS for ai reason being and it could just be Me I get                        Random Crashes after 6 ai ELS enables cars spawn with the lights on.

Ai_ELS_MP = 0             // Toggles ELS on/off for AI in MP / Not recommended with other players

If a addon emergancy vehicle (ect.lego city ambulance) with the els file that comes with it. DO I just put it in as that dose not work for any add-on emergancy vehicles I have tried.
