Should the US pay reparation to the descendants of slaves?
No way. First of all it just feeds into the already existent entitlement in the black community. Second where would the money come from? Tax payers? Why is it that I whose grandparents came to America from Switzerland during WW2 who had absolutely nothing to do with slavery have to pay for what people did over 100 years before my family arrived here.

Last Kansas Highway Patrol Crown Vic Retired
They do have good maintenance. Every office has a fully stocked garage and mechanic. The office I'm an explorer at retired all the crown vics last year. Their all PIU's except a few expeditions for snow (not gonna need those anymore lol) and a few ford f-250's. The particular car I was talking about raddled like crazy I thought it was gonna fall apart. The abuse CHP puts on them is crazy 0-120 MPH catching up to speeders for 12 hours a day is ruff on a car. My buddy bought a retired CHP CVPI and its still going strong with 250,000 miles on it.

What unit would you want to be?(real life)
CHP is very competitive. Everytime they have a hiring period about 60,000 people apply then about 300 get accepted about 250 make it past the physical and about 150 pass the written. Then about 75-100 graduate the academy. When you're an explorer you get put at the top of the hiring list. If you joined now you'd be academy ready in a few years. You learn everything about doing the job. Infact I just got off a 12 hour ride along shift, and as a CHP explorer your not just riding along you're being cover officer, you're talking to dispatch, running plates, updating the activity log, filling out citations and so much more. If your serious about the CHP then joining the explorer program is the best thing you could possibly do.

Well I hope it all works out. How old are you? Are you explorer age 15-21? If you are you should join the explorer program. I've been an explorer for two years. If theres anything you'd like to know about the CHP just ask me.

That's cool. Do you ride now? A female officer I know was a motor she said its really tuff to get in and that you have to pretty much be an expert at riding before you can even start motor school. So if you're not yet start riding as soon as possible. Motor is my third choice after K-9. I'm hoping to join the military and become a dog handler for my resume. If I end up not joining the military and don't do CHP DPS I'm trying motor school.
