Haha, hey, can you check out one of my topics on support with Zmod? I didn't want to ask the question here and hijack the thread, but here's the link: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Making use of EVI's Emergency Lighting Equipment?
Hey LCPDFR officers, I'm fairly new to modelling (I can put on light bars successfully, but I'm having problems with the Whelen Talon by bxbugs123) and I just wanted to know how to turn a piece of lighting equipment from a z3d file to a wft file with all the textures. Currently what I'm doing, is I import the textures for the grill lights (included in the HG2 Lighting Equipment) and click open. At this point, it asks if I want to discard the changes that I've made (I just imported some textures) and then when I click either yes or no, it totally discards those textures and I'm left with just the plain model. No textures or anything to it, so it won't even work in game properly. Any ideas on where I could find some grill lights or how to convert those z3d files in to working, .wft file formats? Help is greatly appreciated and the sooner I get help, the sooner I can release my first model for SCNG :)

How to get ELS V7 on version 1.0.4.0
But he does have a point. There are more ENBs for patch 4 but still, Game4Video is a good one for patch 1.0.7.0

Whelen Edge 9000
Just as a little heads up, it's a bit big for your average CVPI, but it fits other vehicles just fine.

ELS v7 Not responding to commands
Just read the 'readme' file! There is also an ELS support thread somewhere on LCPDFR.com, so look there. I thought we were done with the ELS v7 threads, but here we go again.

Whats the best ENB for 1.0.7.0?
Yeah, I got it because it was unlimited. I do A LOT OF DOWNLOADING and a lot of browsing as well and I had to go with Sky broadband. Oh well, might be upgrading to Fibre Optic soon.

- Steam GTA vs. Disk?
That's one way to do things- The most undercover car you've played with.
Probably one of hlsavior's unmarked Crown Vics. He's such a good modeler.- Steam GTA vs. Disk?
Well, I live in the outskirts of the south of England (I really don't like it because I'm from California, and don't even ask how I ended up here) and my internet is probably the slowest in my area but it downloaded in just under 2 hours. And if you think custom rigs are expensive in Australia, come to the UK. I'm actually buying my components off a Dutch website and getting one of my Dutch clan members to build it for me! Things are very expensive here. Could be a problem with where you're installing the files. Try an Integrity Check on Steam and it should clean up errors and that sort of stuff. Otherwise, seek support in the correct section. This was about what iteration of the game you prefer, not about support.- Which ENB?
Haha, I'll get it if this stupid computer doesn't get delayed all the time.- Which ENB?
Well, I don't want to start an argument so I'll take your word for it :D. Anyway, thanks for all the advice. I'm really looking forward to my build.- Which ENB?
Well, people in the comments have been complaining about it as well, so I think it might be an ENB problem. I have installed them before (but I removed them due to lag), but I haven't installed Game4Video ENB because it wouldn't run properly.- Which ENB?
Cool. I think I'm going with Savior's ENB, because Game4Video has jagged car edges, and some other downsides.- Which ENB?
First of all, I have no idea what you're referring to as 'crap'. And are you saying none of those ENBs I mentioned were good? I'm just posting my PC specs now. And the 660Ti is very good, I'm talking about the 2GB one that'll run most games really well. Ok, so here are the specs, as they were asked for. I'll start with the peripherals first: Mouse - A4Tech G9-500H (don't judge me on mice, I use a controller anyway, not gaming mice) Keyboard - Some really ridiculous Viglen one that was given to me, but I'm buying a new one. Actual PC specs: Intel Core i5 4570 Socket 1150 Quad Core - Cooler inclusive ASUS GeForce GTX 660Ti B-DC2OC-2GD5 -2GB- PCI-E VGA/DVI/HDMI/MINI DISPLAY TP-Link WN751ND - PCI 150 Mbit/s, 1 Antenna (I have to use WiFi since my router is so far away from me, and there are no DSL ports in the room) Zalman ZM-T1 Case (I think I'll be changing in case I want USB 3.0) Asus B85M-E Socket 1150 - Micro ATX Intel B85, 4x DDR3, SATA600/USB 3.0 Antec Basiq Series VP550P - 550 Watt PSU Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB - PC3 - 12800 - DIMM DDR3, 1600Mhz, 1.65 Volt, CL9, 2x 4GB Western Digital Blue - 1TB 3.5", SATA600, 7200RPM, 64MB I'm probably going to put in an SSD, but it depends on how much money is left over. There's also an image if you wish to see it ('>) but ignore all the prices :P One of my Dutch clan members is shipping it over to the UK (where I live, but I'm from OC), so ignore shipping prices and the fact it's all in euros. It's good for its price actually.- Which ENB?
I believe its dual. Could be quad.- Which ENB?
Haha, the new Intel 4000 series processors 3.2GHz. I don't know the model exactly.- Which ENB?
Hey Savior, it's going to be an Intel 4 something or the other 3.2 GHz and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660Ti 2GB PCE- Steam GTA vs. Disk?
So I was just thinking about what the LCPDFR community would prefer. So what do you prefer? Steam or disk? I personally bought mine on Steam for $9.99 while it was on sale in the winter and I have never regretted buying it on Steam. You can do everything you can on a disk version, like make effective backups (not through Steam) reinstall the game quickly and efficiently through a non steam backup and while in game, you can access the Steam chat and browse the web. As well as that, you can view several things about GTA like cheats/news/tips and tricks. I can't really think of any downsides to it. And one other bad thing is, if you lose your disk and want to reinstall, you can't. You can't even get some sort of crack, remove the crack and enter your serial. Also, when you get a new PC, or have to sign in somewhere else, your games go with you. Which is awesome, because I'm buying a new PC, so I can reinstall it easily. Also, when you are prompted to enter your serial code on GFWL (on first time startup), Steam automatically puts in your CD key and automatically keeps GTA up do date as well. But what's your opinion?- Which ENB?
So here's the problem. I'm very excited because I am buying my first gaming computer and it's a pretty nice build. I'm really looking forward to playing GTA on it and various other games I was not able to play due to my PC specs. I was also thinking of making a little group (4-6 members) and receding it, sort of like my favorite and the most amazing YouTube-er BayAreaBuggs. If anyone wants to join that let me know! It's not a clan btw. But anyway, back to the topic, and that is, I hate GTA IV graphics. They are terrible. Because I'm getting a new PC, I thought it would be awesome to run an ENB. And that's the problem. I'm debating between the Game4Video ENB and the Savior ENB by hlsavior, who I am a modeler for. I need your opinion on it, and like I said, I'm going to record some MP so I also want to know which one uses the least resources out of the two, but I am getting a 2GB GPU so I think I'll be fine. Thanks for all your support, and once again, let me know if you would like to be in my group.- Weird Light Problem
I think it's emerglights_emis or something. All I do is take unlocked models and stick some lights on them, all my resources are premade so I wouldn't know that much,- 2012 Secret Service Cadillac Escalade
Just looks bad in the thumbnail because of that ENB. Without an ENB, the lights on the side look hardly noticeable and even with an ENB. It just looks bad because of the angle.- What Phone do you have?
Yeah! I have one too! High five! - Steam GTA vs. Disk?
