  1. Usually, I don't care for firetrucks, but I really like this one! Do they use the little whirring thingy (I couldn't describe it better) in Maine? Also, do they use the rainbow lights on the sides?
  2. I could definitely try, and we can PM back and forth, but would it be possible for you to find a working RX2700? I'm aware of the one in our 'Lightbars' section, however it doesn't work when importing the textures, and I have reason to believe it's the lightbar and/or its textures. Again, I can surely try.
  3. Usually, I'm not like this, sharing all this info and stuff, however, it wasn't announced already on LCPDFR and there weren't any hints he was inactive because of an illness on the forums. It's to let you guys know that one of our modders won't be making mods all that often and also to let the members in his group know (including me) about what happened. Hope that answered your question.
  4. I don't see a problem here. That's it from what I remember when I installed my OpenIV way back when. Try doing a search in whatever drive you installed it in (if you have dual), or search in the C: drive, if you can't find it on your secondary one. Feel free to PM me about this issue, you have my permission if any moderators ask...
  5. We already have a female officer available for download here. It's just like car texturing, so you just follow the same steps to make it an NYPD officer.

  7. To explain the lack of videos lately. It was actually a bad flu. He mentioned that there were EMTs in his room at one in the morning as well as police officers.
  8. Me too :(
  9. I don't really know if you guys know about Hlsavior, but I'm actually in SCNG Designs and the fact that it's been so inactive has really got me thinking. I usually go over to Hlsavior's YouTube once in a while to check if he's uploaded lately, and his profile as well. So, earlier today (at around 7 or 8 PDT), I went to his channel. I saw a new upload updating his channel, and as time progressed while I was watching the video, I was in pure shock. Hlsavior is my favorite modder on this site, and I am honored to be Assistant Manager of his group. I was really shocked at the video you may watch right now. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkuWS0VifnI.
  10. Amazing. Simply beautiful. 5/5 as usual with you, Hoffers :D
  11. It's either an Edge or an Ultra Freedom (or whatever the double stacked ones are called) except with translucent glass.
  12. Hmm, this is inspiring! I may have a try at doing my own!

  14. It often turns out uneven and is too flat, if you know what I mean.
  15. Yes, I know, the title may sound very weird and in fact maybe something out of Red Dead Redemption, but I see all these models with these 'streak' type things on them. Take this one for example :'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>. How in the world do they make the things on the doors? I'm trying my hardest but they really don't turn out very well. I know it's not possible to make one with the Polygonal Lasso Tool in Photoshop, because it's too square, so is there another tool used in the making? It's really driving me nuts that I can't make a good skin and I really want to do something right for once. Thanks for helping, guys.
  16. Yeah. Those things really drive me nuts though. I used to be crazy over them but now I don't like them that much. I guess I got tired of the 'low profile'.
  17. Oh my god. Tone down the description a bit? Also, badge looks a tad bit too big.
  18. I was debating between the two of those! Dangit! Those things are deceiving....
  19. Alright, sure. You're not off? I got the whole week off for Thanksgiving! Maybe it's just in the state of California. And Maine. I have friends in Maine who are off.
  20. I don't necessarily see what you mean here. Whenever I spawn barriers, or a stationary car or anything like that, it's always solid. Most of the models being spawned (apart from modded content) are from the game itself, and I'm sure Rockstar modeled the content being spawned to have collisions. Perhaps a screenshot?
  21. My friends, nothing is impossible. It would probably take at least a month or two of coding to actually make an API to be implemented into the actual script and then a further month. All in all, around two to four months would be the total time needed to develop this script, but nobody has the time and patience to make a fully fledged script like that. Also, things change very quickly when it comes to technology. One minute it's here, one minute it's gone. For example, say there was a museum. The museum would go for at least ten years before closing down, GTA IV police modding on the other hand, could cease without any prior hints or notice. I'm sorry to say you're out of luck on this one. Like Grant Matos said, just use multiplayer. Oh, and another thing, willpv23 is spot on. That is the only way it could work, G17's magic being just having a feature calling it over to any pursuit, which takes a lot of coding, and some good code at that. Hope that helped ;)
  22. O.o what's up with this sudden upburst of uploads from you? Not saying they're bad or anything...
