itsjzee85 got a reaction from itzjaybruh in lspdfr crashing
Okay, this usually happens because you have a plugin that is no longer compatible with LSPDFR. You need to start the game without rage to make sure it's not something else. If it works, it's not game file related.

If it worked load into the RPH menu (Hold Shift when you start the plugin). Under the general tab the second box it will show the timeout threshold, it will be set at 10000. Change that to 60000. Then go over to the Plugin tab. Uncheck LSPDFR. Start the game using the rage shortcut. If it loads then it's a plugin you installed and need to take some of them out. I can probably guess a few. Lmk if you ever got it fixed.

Edit: It does look like it is "DutyGarageMenu" tho. Likely referring to something with the vehicles. That's when it all starts to fall apart.

Your topic has been moved to GTA V Support, this is not LSPDFR related.
Please post in the correct location in the future.

It’s reported to work for many others. I’d be surprised if you’re the only one having issues. Fully remove ELS alongside AdvancedHookV and reinstall ELS 1.05.

The best way to stay up to date with RPH is their discord - https://ragepluginhook.net and go to social then select Discord. Join there and when it is done it will be announced on their discord along with a download link. That will let you know when it's available way ahead of LSPDFR mainly because of schedules of admins. (Sign up for notifications to their sub). Best method to have for ScripthookV is the dev's website. He directly posts it here. https://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/

In the meantime if you are on Rockstar launcher you can try my method to play lspdfr and not update your game yet.

Maybe try the EMS plugin from @Haze Studio. I can’t remember the name right now but go on his profile and search for files posted.
Theres also fire callouts by panos.

Have you by chance installed the latest gameconfig.xml also?

Resort to non-ELS vehicles. The only script relying on scripthookv is ELS, so if you remove and also scripthookv you should be fine. Just copy old ELS vehicle mod folder and back up your folders to quickly go back once it's released.

For anyone who may ever search this issue if you're dealing with the same thing:

The main issue : Getting ELS lights to activate on service vehicles that have light bars, but typically  are not designed to light up  (ex. towtruck, towtruck2, flatbed, speedo, addons)

The fix:  Go into your carvariations file in Open IV (update/update.rpf./x64/data)
                   - On the vehicle that you want to place active lights on, add values to both the light and siren settings of that vehicle set. This is typically located at the end of each vehicle set. Each vehicle set closes with "</Item>", so you should see it slightly before that line.

                                                                      <lightSettings value="15"/>
                                                                      <sirenSettings value="16"/>

After changing these settings everything works and the service vehicles are now responding with code 3 lighting! To my knowledge there aren't specific values that you have to put, but if you put a siren value between 1-9 there's a chance you may hear the siren when they're responding and that's prob not the preference for a tow truck, to each their own tho.

    Blessings to you all.

The more plugins you have installed, the worse the game will perform. This is just reality as you start to start to make the game more CPU bound than GPU bound with all of the extra running processes and logic. You kinda will need to selectively disable plugins to see which ones hurt your FPS the worst and make the decision on whether it is worth keeping that plugin or not.

You need to reinstall LSPDFR. Download the latest version and copy your current ini's if you have customized key binds or custom settings to your desktop to replace the default one that is installed after you've run the setup again. This should fix the problem. Make sure you install RPH again. Be sure you set your plugin timeout threshold to 60000. Let me know if it does not and we will figure it out.

The best thing for you to do is to replace all police/sherriff/fbi to the police vehicles you want, then set all the uniforms to the uniform you want. Google the process. I can't remember it off the top of my head. If you want to change dlc vehicles that respond you can change those settings as well. Easiest way is to just do replace files.

Wherever you are a lspd unit will respond when you ask for a local unit or a state unit and you will all be dressed the same.

WinRAR is just a file extractor tool. It unzips your files so that they can be used. If you just place zipped files into folders, you're going to run into problems.

If you open WinRAR you will find all your downloads the same as if you open file explorer.

I would suggest that you start over. Make sure you follow the instructions in the videos exactly. You also must have a legit copy of GTAV. I mostly use@BlueLine Vibes as he has a vast library of diverse and detailed tutorial videos. I recommend sticking to one YouTuber until you know what you're doing. I say this because they will likely go about things in a consistent way and that will ensure you are doing things in a consistent way.

It is nearly impossible to help you here with such a broad problem. The only advice I have is to start from scratch, pick a YouTuber, and start from the beginning. Also, don't forget to show them love so they can continue to produce content for the community.

    Good luck.

Not sure about RPH, but you can run mods in GTA 5 on Steam Deck. LSPDFR on the go would be great!!!

I hate to be this guy... but I need to ask you guys.

Since you've been working on RPH Support for Apple Silicon, could we see potential Linux compatibility at some point, I know that there was a good interest in getting LSPDFR running on a Steam Deck, and Linux in general.

I'm currently a Windows user, but I find myself using my Deck a lot more, and being able to run LSPDFR on it would be an amazing experience to be able to play LSPDFR whilst on-the-go

LSPDFR & RAGE Plugin Hook Enhanced and Upcoming Site Upgrades
We're excited to share the latest updates on projects bringing LSPDFR and RAGE Plugin Hook to GTA 5 Enhanced Edition alongside refreshing our entire website - with new features, a new design and a more fluid experience.

LSPDFR & RAGE Plugin Hook Enhanced
With the recent release of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition @LMS has been working on porting RAGE Plugin Hook. While still in its early development stages, RPH is now successfully running on the Enhanced Edition with most of the basic features working, including running small plugins and DX12 rendering. In addition, our biggest LSPDFR update ever is currently in closed-beta testing and we hope to have more news on it soon.

Below are some screenshots of these previously console-only vehicles being spawned through RPH in the Enhanced Edition.

    RPH on Apple Silicon
As part of the port to the Enhanced version and DX12 support, we have streamlined some core systems, now allowing RPH and LSPDFR to run on Apple Silicon. We're still addressing performance issues and visibility concerns before considering a potential future patch.

Website Platform Update and Invision Community 5
We're in the early stages of migrating from Invision Community 4 to 5, which will transform our entire platform.
This update combines rewrites of Invision Community core features with rewrites of our own software to provide users with a faster and cleaner experience. Community members will enjoy a fresh design and responsive theme that follows your OS dark mode decision. On top of this, substantial effort across the board has been made to fix performance issues.

Most of the changes to our new platform are behind the scenes, but the most visible improvement you'll see, apart from the general design change, is the new editor. This new editor comes with many improvements and is easy to use. It also introduces some new features, like Content Boxes, that will make structuring mod download pages a little bit better.

We hope to provide further updates over the coming weeks and months as we prepare this for release.
