@gorilla2016 Side Question but is there a way to make it not always see it as a threat? I've tried adding the program to exceptions but it still sees the temp files it creates as a virus. Doing what you said works, but every time i restart the pc, i have to go back and turn off real time scanning. Just curious if you might know how. Either way, thank you. I can finally play again.

have you tried to "unloadallplugins" or "terminateallplugins", do the then "reloadallplugins" in the rage menu? See the reason I asked about add-ons is because that exact thing happened to me as well about a month ago and I went thru all these crazy steps to realize it was a tow truck I installed... a f450 to be specific lol. Removing those files fixed the issue for me. Wonder if its the same tow truck?

it crashed after "[10/9/2023 5:07:42 PM.840] TurnOffThatEngine: TurnOffThatEngine 1.0.0.4 by SuperPyroManiac has been initialised." So it looks like it crashed loading plugins. I would uninstall the last plugin or change you made before this started. Then try again. Now as far as restarting the whole game, why are you doing that? Like is it crashing GTA or just LSPDFR?

RPH opening straight to "validating hook" then closes. This does not matter weather a game is running or not. Game runs fine and loads the mod folder with out any issues. There is NOT a log because its not actually loading. Just opening saying "validating hook" and then disappears. I had not installed anything new for a while now so none of the So I've tried; reinstalled RPH, ScriptHookV, removed mod folder and plugins folder, tried running everything in administrator mode, launching from the game directory itself, waited overnight (the problem started last night. Game was running fine before then) and even replaced my packfile limit adjuster, and heap adjuster files. I'm lost...

Hi there, not sure if you solved your problem or not but using force duty is the same as going on duty at the pd so that's not an issue. I never use the PD to go on duty I always force duty and spawn my car. You were not exactly being clear on what the problem is but I'm assuming it is not working for you. I would go back and re-read the install instructions. I have missed simple little things and had to go back and re-read the install. oorrr It's possible that you did not correctly configure your ini or you may not be hitting the right button or modifier key. Just go back through everything carefully and read that ini.

A good way to see if it's the plugins you installed is to take one of them out of the folder and then try to play.

At his point if it was me I would just restore files from a game backup. If it wasn't a script or a mod you installed then a backup game restore would be your quickest return to playing. Try to see if there have been any updates to some of the mods you use just in case.

Are you able to launch GTA in story mode? if so open rage after your game as loaded. If it crashes again, it is most likely something (script, etc) you may have installed. Use the rage menu to reload all plugins. see if that helps.

It would be cool if when the flatbed tow truck and the corners van arrive on scene they have their lights on. Is there a way to do this? Like in the XML file or something? Thanks so much in advance!
