  1. Contrary to the comment above me, I would avoid the EVGA 970, they are having several issues with it. Just google EVGA 970 problem. Personally, I have a GTX 970 and it's not one listed there. I have a Nvidia GTX 970 produced by Nvidia themselves, pictures. http://imgur.com/a/Q0X12 It is sold exclusively by Best Buy online & Retail Stores. It's a little higher than normal, but the build quality is outstanding and it truely is a Collector's premium product. My only other concern with the build is you are getting extremely expensive, top of the line components, but completely trashing and bottlenecking your system with a 1TB WDD Blue Drive. I highly recommend an SSD in there even if you have both a HDD and an SSD. Additionally, I recommend a 750W PSU for that setup. i5 is fine. EDIT: Also just taken into account these are my experiences when it comes to PC building. I personally recommend Windows 8.1, as Windows 7 is set to become a Non-Supported OS soon, which means some companies will not offer you support for using outdated Operating Systems. With Win10 around the corner, I'd go either 8.1 or wait for 10.
  2. Not a Police Interceptor Model, but try this? http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads/uploadpic-765896_rRx.png EDIT: Link: http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1196
  3. The specs are mainly fine, except for the GPU (which does most of the work).
  4. In PC gaming, CPU's are super rarely a bottleneck.
  5. Grand Theft Auto IV isn't renown for it's excellent performance, I would say an old laptop simply will not run the game. IMO, save yourself some time despite how great the game is.
  6. Not saying you're not wrong, I applaud minorities stepping up to raise their status. "No one gives it to ya, ya have to take it" - Jack Nicholson But here's the issue, and correct me if I'm wrong. A certain percentage of the black community doesn't care about the change. At least, not more interested than burning down and looting Walgreens. They are not actively constructing a better society, rather they are deconstructing it. Again, only a certain percentage, and it makes the community as a whole look bad. With that said, the outcome was just. Not just the verdict. If it was obvious that the Officer Wilson stalked down and murdered Mr. Brown in cold blood, and got away with it because they wasn't ample evidence (Like OJ Simpson), then there is reason for protest. But this wasn't just a just verdict, it was a just outcome. Officer Wilson did what was right, and never broke the law. I'm sick of ignorant people complaining about Police when they don't even know what the job entails. The community, for some reason doesn't realize that not being shot by the police is actually pretty easy. Robbing a store, walking down the center of a road, being rude to an officer, and assaulting an officer is not something to do. Yet this community for whatever reason sees a completely opposite image of perfect Mr. Brown surrendering to police commands and being executed on the street. I don't get it, and the police involved do not deserve the treatment they are getting.
  7. Call me racist. I'm honestly done with people calling me racist, and I don't care. <rant> I am so pissed at how African Americans protest problems within their race/community. Looting, burning, killing, are all prime contenders. Now while I understand this is under extreme circumstances, and most of the time they protest peacefully and legally (including numerous days of protests in Ferguson), the black community completely disregards the principles of honestly, their liberator, Martin Luther King every time they protest like this with such irony. I'm sick of the Anonymous masks (unrelated), and people showing up to a peaceful protest with the intention of looting Walgreens. I'm sick of the black community blaming police (Who granted, are overwhelmingly white) when it is the police that show up to the death of every single black on black homicide in cities across the nation. They don't give a shit about the police when they're there to serve them, but the second one makes a mistake (or looks like one made a mistake) the racist cards just starts flying every like a game of Make it Rain. </rant> inb4 damn html not working. This video is a mustsee for any LEO supporter.
  8. Honestly, I know nothing about AMD products, but most likely you'd need to buy a new MOBO for that new socket. If they are the same socket, well you're in luck. To replace a CPU isn't too difficult. Remove the old CPU/MOBO, take your new MOBO and add the new CPU in. Apply thermal paste correctly, and then put on the fan/cooling solution, put it back into your case and you should be ready to go. Everything else is taken care automatically. But don't underestimate this, definitely watch a video guide, and this process could easily take a couple hours.
  9. Nice to meet you Rob, it's always nice to have another member in the forums community.

  11. The DSF Version is the one with the license plate. Truth be told, the Crown Vic is indeed a large vehicle. One thing I don't like about the Driver SF model from those pictures is the windows though, they're more accurate to a real car. Of course, you can tint windows in the vehicle files, but nobody actually does that upon release.
  12. Correct. That's why I like it more. My GTX 660, which really isn't that much of a high level card, can run all custom police car models, an ENB, and a few script mods and of course LCPDFR. But I understand, Driver SF CVPI is definitely better for those with a under performing system.
  13. BxBug's was way before the Driver SF Model. I tried switching over to use DSF vehicle, I tried it for a little bit and just couldn't stand it. Most of the models were low poly, first time modelers, just unlike the professional models we see from Bugs. However, times have changed since then and perhaps if I switched now I could find a lot more nicer DSF models. I'll stick to Bugs for now though.
  14. You have a CD copy of GTAIV and EFLC? I've never heard of that before. I thought it was DLC only. Perhaps you're right though. I personally had issues with running EFLC w/ GTAIV mods. However, perhaps it might work. You never know with GTAIV.
  15. Here is the one pictured. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=855
  16. Everyone seems to like the Driver SF model more but I strongly prefer Bug's. Bug's model is much more higher quality, inside and out. Everything from the wheels, windows, and lighting on Bug's is far superior. The windows, grill, and interior on Bug's is what has me sold.
  17. I don't mean to thread hijack here, but absolutely no clue! I was just so shocked the first firetruck, and then when I saw my cruiser rolling down the hill and the second one right behind it I was like nope I'm outta here. Seriously though, both firetrucks in LA (those videos) and Liberty Respond too fast. Do these people not realize they couldn't stop in time if a kid walked onto the road or a distracted driver made a turn? It may not even be their fault (Lights and sirens are going) but you have to realize the reality of driving such a heavy vehicle with such mass moving at a high velocity. I think that's very dangerous.
  18. I'll show you a Firetruck responding too fast.
  19. Massachusetts! Although they all do such a fine job enforcing the law...cannot beat the MSP's motto. "The Nation's first, the world's finest"
  20. Wow, looks phenomenal. Looks pretty compatible with ELS too, which isn't common for ENBs.
  21. Sounds really simple to a model BxBug's made for me a while back. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1512
  22. Some of my favorites are the non-2014 Ford Explorer models, but nonetheless are being purchased through the 2014 year. I put together some of my favorite shots I've taken (A couple are not mine). http://1drv.ms/1BcyrbP
