  1. LOL! Love the video. and the model too of course.
  2. "Saying that they have a better rep than US police officers because they don't carry guns, is ignorant and stupid." "You're right, I was talking about you." wat.
  3. It's funny how ironic that was. That how in a proper, polite debate where I am simply stating an opinion, you call me "ignorant and stupid". Look who's talking. And don't even try and argue you weren't talking to me. Both parts was directly aimed at my response. "You oughta learn some Respect" - M_Y_COP_HISPANIC
  4. I don't believe they should be. I think a large part of it is the culture of policing in the UK, where like most civilized countries, guns are hard to obtain. In America, this system would not work. But for a country like the UK, I think this program puts more trust into the police force, something American police are losing every day. http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-19641398 Of course, someone would make the argument, well shouldn't they be able to defend themselves from a knife attack? What if somebody has a gun, then they couldn't defend themselves? Why shouldn't they carry guns, we all know that a mass shooting of cops would change the laws, right? I think one of the major flaws with this thinking is as I previously stated, culture. the UK much like most civilized countries doesn't have astronomical violent crimes like we do. Police Officers efficiently can protect themselves and others using various other methods than a firearm. As much as I don't agree with disarming the American Police force, the firearm in many cases has hurt police reputation over the years. Officers often go to their firearms as a first instinct. Even though all proper procedure is followed, even though their, or others lives were in danger, even though that was the best outcome to shoot that suspect, it does hurt police reputation. Even in cities I live near, officer involved shootings are a regular occurrence, and even though the police are putting their lives in danger to protect others, and do so lawfully, it nevertheless is a psychological turn-off for Community-Police relations to shoot somebody. I wish the people had more trust in the Police, but when shooting people is a common occurrence, legal or not, I can see why the public is scared.
  5. a GPU (Or Graphics Processing Unit) is your Graphics Card. Your CPU (Or Central Processing Unit) is your processor attached to the motherboard. willpv is right, I believe you need one of Nvidia's GTX series cards in order for the software to work.
  6. If you don't agree with "redefining words" would you agree with giving them all the same benefits that heterosexual couples have? Because gay couples argue for marriage because they don't get the same benefits as married couples have in many states, especially when it comes to finances.
  7. I haven't heard that brand before, however that doesn't mean they're not popular. I haven't been in the market for a display in quite some time. It doesn't look bad. I pretty much have the same 24'' 1920x1080 display but produced by ASUS. You could look into getting a higher refresh rate monitor, but I'm not sure $200 will be in that range.
  8. cp702 is right, HDD's can fail at any time/ It doesn't look like your HDD is necessarily failing from what I can see, however you might want to think about purchasing a 240GB (Or really whatever size you need) Solid State Drive or SSD. SSD's use flash based memory, and do not have any moving parts. As an added bonus, they're up to 10 times the speed of a conventional HDD because of that. I'm only saying this in case you haven't heard of SSDs yet. SSD's are pricey. But you could try cloning your HDD to a new SSD and replace the HDD. It will last longer, be more resistant to shock (Just don't drop your laptop), and be faster.
  9. tl;dr? I highly recommend the Nvidia GeForce Experience Suite to anybody with an Nvidia GPU. Shadowplay is not only the best video recorder I've ever had, it's free for those who have modern Nvidia GPUs. But actually, GeForce experience does game optimization for you. You have linked to Nvidia's Shadowplay, which is part of the GeForce Experience program, but something else entirely. If you have a modern Nvidia GPU, Shadowplay can stream your gameplay or even your desktop to Twitch.tv. Shadowplay also can record video using your GPU's processor, which will help tremendously if you have a powerful GPU, but not a powerful CPU (Or the CPU is working heavy for that game). Another nice feature about shadowplay is you can set it to where it is constantly recording, and will only save the last 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or however many minutes you set. It's the best video recorder I've ever had. It uses very little system resources, and as an added bonus, it's free.

  12. The first two episodes were great. You can see them for free on Fox's website.
  13. One of my favorite tech sites, Tom's Hardware, just recently posted their a great link that might help you. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/build-budget-gaming-pc,3943.html However, to be honest, this product would yield pretty mediocre results. I'd go with a Haswell i5 or i3, with a corresponding MOBO. Additionally, I would buy a 660 or a 760.
  14. I really like Gotham, only the pilot and second episode are out. It's a really cool, DC Comics based, crime solving show.
  15. Interesting concept, considering how detailed the work you have already done has been, I'm in. I will fill one out for Massachusetts in the next few days.

  17. LOL! Titan will raise the price a lot. I think you need to look in the right places. in America popular websites include CyberPC, Amazon, Newegg, Tigerdirect, ect. Origin PC is another.
  18. Perhaps they may indeed cost around that where you live, but not here. If it's not location driving that expensive cost, you might be looking at top tier, top of the line name brands gaming machines. You can build upgradable, performance computers for like $700-$800 at least here in America. And of course, just buy the essentials first, and add on later. I'm not sure whether it was your searching or your country's prices that were causing the high price, so that's why I kept saying "in America". Only you would know that.
  19. I looked at some pictures, my guess is a full size graphics card would fit, but with bottlenecks and limited upgrade ability room for the future, I recommend building your own computer or getting a custom build, or purpose built PC.
  20. Sorry, what I meant by that comment is your new GPU would work well. I meant it would fit most likely and work fine. It might be bottlenecked to some degree, but I'm sure it would work.
  21. Hmmm, companies like HP and Dell are known for putting in custom power cables and otherwise using non-standard types of components because they want you to buy newer versions of their products. I'm sure the GPU would work, and you could always transfer it to a newer computer down the road, the PSU I'm not too sure about.
  22. I have the Corsair HX750, best Power Supply I've ever owned. I highly recommend it. And for GPU, I'll only recommend Nvidia series cards. Since the 960 will be out by the end of the year (980 and 970 already released) I recommend waiting and maybe purchasing a 660, 760, 770, or 960. You have a good budget, that shouldn't be a problem. The PC your stuff is in however is a slightly different issue, there could be some bottlenecks there. For example, if your MOBO is only PCi Gen 2, well then a new graphics card may not benefit entirely what you paid for it.
