  1. Another quick update, the only remaining thing to fix are these odd normals, something I have done to the model has greatly exacerbated it as it is present on the base Charger model. A few more screenshots:
  2. It's >True ELS ENB, edited to my preference enbseries.ini:

  6. It's pretty self-explanatory, you have more than one part called either: "extra_1", "extra_1_L0", "extra_1_L1"or "extra_1_L2"
  7. Keep in mind that the officer has to do the reading at a range that the judge will accept as reasonable, the device might be effective for miles, but the officer has to testify that the radar reading was indeed taken from the stopped vehicle and that the vehicle wasn't in a zone where higher speeds are allowed. It's preferable to place the radar separately from marked units, especially on motorways where one officer can assume radar position on a overpass while bike cops (or patrol cars) can stop speeding vehicles. The police here prefer to use average speed devices (ProViDa). The device calculates the average speed based on the time and distance covered from when the officer activated the device to when he ended the reading, it allows for 100% accurate readings (device locks if it needs calibration), radars have an error margin of 3% (in favour of the motorist), it can furthermore be easier for a motorist to "evade" a radar.
  8. I wouldn't be suprised if it's to do with the "high visibility policing" concept that are used by most forces. Unmarked vehicles aren't creating a visible police presence in the immediate area. It seems like they have a >few beemers with force insignia as well
  9. As far as patterns go, there's 90+ different patterns for primary lights in V8, of which the majority are approximate recreations of real life flash patterns used by the different manufacturers and I don't see a reason for adding more patterns, especially considering that you can use any extra module in addition to-, or in place of extras 1 though 4 as lightbar lights (depending on your preferred configuration), you can also change the order of extra lights on the lightbar. Adding custom patterns aren't possible either due to the way ELS works. I really don't see a reason as to why anyone should devote any measure of time to completely overhaul obsolete versions of ELS when something far better already exists.

  11. Your hierarchy has to look like this: All the non L0/L1/L2's are dummies.

  14. A lot of the former colonies still ahve relations to the countries that colonized them, it's partly why France are committed to several armed interventions across Africa. Regarding police. The PSDB (under the home office) and ACPO conducted research on the "battenburg" livery, comparing it to conventional "jam sandwich" liveries in the UK. They concluded that, amongs other thigns: Several countries has since created their own variations of battenburg, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, France, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and indeed Hong Kong are among those countries.
  15. It's been a while so here's another update on the FrankenCharger! Not much has changed on the outside, however: It is nearing completion, I only have a couple of minor changes left, the exterior bodywork will then be remapped before creating distance models. Please not that "completion" does not mean perfection, however it is as good as I can make it. It's perfectly fit for its purpose (video game modding), but 3d modelers will probably scuff at the decidedly utilitarian mesh in places. I have lost track of what models provided parts, it started out as Dhruv's unlocked Charger, it now has parts from Forza's Charger as well as Lt. Caines unlocked '06 Charger with a little home-made customisations on top. The same applies for textures, they're part Dhruv Charger, part Forza Charger and part What-I-Could-Find-On-Google-Image-Search Charger.
  16. Regarding Crown Vic years and flex-fuel: They introduced FlexFuel engines in 2008 when the Crown Vic entered fleet-sales only, the Flex-Fuel badges were added from 2009 onwards.. Additionally, hubcaps (grey) was introduced in 2006 along with "17 Steel rims, they previously had "16 steel rims and chrome hubcaps.
  17. I recall hearing about something similar a while ago, someone apparently created a crude console imitation of LCPDFR, it has no affiliation with G17 or anyone on our team.
  18. That Standby is actually a SoundOff-Signal Pinnacle series lightbar, Stand-by distributes them in Scandinavia/NE under their own name. I prefar anything from Whelen, the Justice and Liberty in particular.
