Just have a question and hope this is the right place. I'm learning to make livery's, for personal use right now but thinking down the road to release if I get good enough. My question is I know I can upload texture without vehicle but if I wanted to add the vehicle, that belonged to someone else what would be the proper procedure. I'm guessing I would need the authors permission and or give them credit on my uploaded texture? Thanks in advance for any info.

On the 5MODS site a moderator inserted this onto the page for scripthookv. Well I just re-installed LSPDFR and it doesn't start properly. When I use LSPDFR update checker is shows my version of ScriptHookV as out of date. My version is 1.0.1 and supposable the newer version is 1.1.0 which when I go to the site is shows it as not available. So I'm a bit confused as to what I'm missing? The thing is when I run Rageplugin it gives me no errors or indication that there is any sort of problem, just doesn't start when GTAV loads in.

Just visited the scripthookv site a little while ago seeing if there was an update to scripthookv but the page is now gone. Anyone know if this is the end of scripthookv updates? Maybe the page moved? What does this mean for ELS and other scripts that rely on shv?

Not an expert by any means, but I've had a problem like this and figured out it was one of the plugins. Most likely a "callout". The logical way is to install one and see if it crashes after a certain time. Then install the next one and so on because I'm not sure there is a specific way to tell which plugin it might be. Providing your LSPDFR is up to date for all its dependencies, you shouldn't have to many real problems running this game.

Not sure if this was covered anywhere. I can't seem to come up with a search. Can a player have a specific Police vehicle (livery) that a ped will not be able to use?

Not exactly sure which files to link. I'm using the "charger" from this pack and ELS.

Hopefully this is the right forum. I've been playing LSPDFR for awhile now and have a few ELS models installed. For the most part ELS works properly except I've noticed that a couple of the strobes do not seem to work on the vehicle. Maybe the right one will fire and the left one does not. I have the proper XML for each vehicle in the ELS folders and meta files. Exactly how the readme explains. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this and how to maybe fix it. And note, I did rename a couple of the car files as suggested I could when install them in OpenIV.

Hopefully this this the right forum. I'm brand new. I just recently installed LCPDFR and an ELS White Unmarked Crown. The missions work fine but the only problem I'm facing is that the lights on my cruiser do not fire up when I try to use them. I've updated GTAIV, have LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 installed. I've added the files to the proper locations and did exactly like the readme stated. I've tried a few other cruisers that have the ELS function and still nothing on them. And yes I have SparkIV installed and used it to pack the wtd and wft in the vehicles.img file. The cruiser hows up but like I said, no strobes. If I use a regular LCPD cruiser lightbar fires all three modes like it should. I've checked the asi files to see if they were updated and everything seems to be fine there. I've searched high and low for an answer to this problem and so far, and please bare with me I'm a noob to the ELS function so hoping someone can shed some light (pun intended) on the situation. Love the unmarked and black & whites but game doesn't seem all that cool with no lightbar flashing. An I missing something?
