I just tried downloading RAGE Plugin Hook - Open Alpha - 1.68.1248.15551 and Windows defender won't allow it because it shows it contains a virus Trojan:Win32/Spursint.F!cl Has anyone else got this? Never had any hits before with windows defender for rage so I'm a little off set about shutting down defender and downloading the file. Been waiting all week to play LSPDFR, scripthook just updated and now I'm stuck trying to find out if this is a false positive with RageHook. Thanks for any support. Swampy out

I got dark mode or Night Eye to work on this site. Looks beautiful, at least for me. My poor tired eyes it seems. Anyway, thanks for the help and I would love to see a dark theme or even some variation for theme in the future but at the same time is it really that big of a deal? Keep up the great work here. I have Night Eye with Microsoft Edge that works on most site but for some reason not on here. Not a big thing. I just happen to like dark mode and it's a little more pleasant on my eyes. Thanks for the reply's.

I just got this error today. Installing Albo's Arrest Manager. I've manually updated the files in that mod and still get this error. I'm using LSPDFR 4.01 and have all updated mods etc for the game installed. Seems this issue is only related to lspdfr since there is no other solutions listed in google search for it except on this forum thread .

Man I absolutely understand the frustration and believe me I have a crash almost every time I install a new addon or graphics mods. It could be an outdated file, dependency or a mod and sometimes the attributes of a file that windows doesn't auto allow. I love this game and I know the feeling of just wanting to play it and not have to troubleshoot it every time you add something. The retail version seems to be tricky. I have a separate Game folder for the game when using LSPDFR. I only use mods in a mods folder. I sometimes have to literally click each new file I add to LSPDFR and change it's attributes to allow. I'm sure you've tried everything you could and hopefully some one can come up with a foolproof way to get this game to run flawlessly. You could possible try another Gameconfig file for that version. In your Launcher.log the error is Localised: Launcher error. Code: 107 Search for that error and see what solutions others are finding. Make sure you're clicking force windowed mode and borderless window in the RagePluginHook settings. Hopefully you get it running duder.

Just curious, at which point does the game crash? Is it usually the same point?

In the file lspdfr.ini there is an (f) after worldEvents.IntervalMultiplier as shown below. Is this common? This is from version LSPDFR 4.01 Main.PreloadAllModels = true Callouts.Multiplier = 250 WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 1.0f <----------- WorldEvents.MaxNumberOfEvents = 1 Chase.CopsCanCommandeerVehicles = true

Had this happen a few times and actually saw it on a Jeff Favignano video where the suspect, after you arrested him and place him in the back seat will get back out and try to drive the cruiser away. Did a search but couldn't find anything related. Anyone else have this happen?

Just putting this out there incase anyone else runs across this problem. I had the same issue with 3.0 so I think it might be worth noting this if your game is crashing. I'm sure this is not a problem for most but might be something to look at. Shot in the dark. I installed LSPDFR 4.0 today, clean install. Run the game and it crashed. No mods, plugins, etc. I had this same problem with 3.0 where I had to go into each file that was installed with LSPDFR and click "unblock" Attributes in the properties section for that file. Right click file to open properties box. Down bottom is Attributes. If it shows: Security "This file came from another computer...yada" Click "unblock". Click apply and ok. You might have to do this with most of the files. You'd have to click through each one to find out unless there's a better way, idfk. Just to prove a point each time I install another plugin the game would crash or not start up until I manually went through the files I just installed and clicked and if it was blocked I unblocked it. If there's not comment in the box then its good to go. After that LSPDFR runs like a new born baby kitten, purrs. If anyone knows the reason why these files don't automatically unblock lemme know. Ragehook does unblock some but for some reason doesn't unblock them all.

This looks really great. Hoping to play it soon.
