So excited for this! Once it is in a good state with lots of plugins available, Im definitely trashing the older version of GTA. Bye bye slightly yuckier graphics!

Wow, this sounds amazing! Really looking forward!

ELS is the only thing to make the ELS vehicles work huh? I literally only need the lights and siren to work..2 buttons..

Okay,
If you are only using Rage and lspdfr. and you need additional weapons and health. This is what you do.
Press F4
Health : Type in Heal
Repair your vehicle : Type repair
Weapons : type in giveweapon (this will give you a list of all weapons in gta v. Type in the code it gives you.
Vehicles : type in spawn. This will also give you a list of all vehicles. just type in the vehicle you want.
If you want to spawn in the vehicle type : Spawnandwarp. This helps if you don't want to get smashed and stuck in the vehicle lol.
Just thought I'd pass this along!!

sinusphi reacted to Joe C Wilson in EUP Backup Configurations - Support ThreadWhat is EUP Backup Configurations and how does it work?
EUP Backup Configurations is a collection of XML files that integrates all the uniforms from the Emergency Uniforms Pack modification into Grand Theft Auto V. This modification allows players to assume the role of a first responder in Grand Theft Auto 5 while wearing the EUP uniforms. The Emergency Uniforms Pack is a separate modification that must be downloaded and installed before EUP Backup Configurations can be applied. Once both modifications are installed, the modification will function as intended. EUP Backup Configurations also include uniforms for police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians, thereby permitting players to employ the EUP uniforms for any role they choose in the game.
EUP Backup Configurations is configured for players who use the 9.3 version of Law and Order and 1.5 Serve and Rescue.
Here is a compilation of the most frequently asked questions and answers for EUP Backup Configurations. If your question is not listed, please submit it in this thread. I will try to respond to your inquiry promptly. If I am unable to answer your question, I will inform you that I am working on a resolution and will keep you updated on my progress. In the meantime, you may search the web for a response to your inquiry.
--> Is Ultimate Backup & Stop The Ped Required?
Partly. This modification also includes EUP backup including Police Officers, Military Police, Fire, and EMS units for the default backup menu.
If you do not want to have the special units (see below) then you can safely play this modification without Ultimate Backup and Stop The Ped installed.
Please note Ultimate Backup includes Coroner, Traffic Stop Backup, Felony Stop Backup, Towing Service, Spike Strips, Roadblocks, and canines alongside special units.
The choice is up to you, as the ambient spawn system works with and without Ultimate Backup and Stop The Ped installed.
(Air Medic, Bicycle Units, Dirt Bike Units, Fire Chief Units, Fire Pilot Units, Gang Units, Harbor Patrol, K9 Units, Riot Police, SAHP CVE, USAR Technicians, etc.)
--> When I Spawn At The Military Base The Guards Are Hostile?
You must disable 'Restricted Areas' in simple trainer to fix this issue.
--> Why Do I Spawn In The Water When Loading Into LSPDFR?
You do not have the Cayo Perico script by Vincentsgm. You must install it or edit stations.xml and remove Cayo Perico to fix this issue. Note removing Cayo Perico from stations.xml will cause you to lose the station and suspect drop-off locations on the island.
--> Why Do I Have An Empty Inventory When Selecting A Department In The Duty Selection Menu?
I do not set an inventory in some of the departments due to the AI firefighters using police weapons if they were to have load-outs configured in inventory_eup. You may use HoldMyGun by Sebo to give yourself a loadout including a fire extinguisher.
--> How Do I Remove Hats?
You can select the "No Hats" folder when installing EUP Backup Configurations or you could remove them yourself. You can locate "prop_hats" in Ultimate Backup XML files, and Prop id= in the data folder XML files and set them to 0. The same goes for any other type of prop - just locate the phrase "Prop" or "Prop id".
--> How Can I Change The Vehicle Settings?
You can rename the vehicle files by locating "<VehicleSet>" in Ultimate Backup or "<Vehicles>" in the LSPDFR data folder and agency XML.
--> Are addon vehicles supported?
Yes - please refer to the answer to the previous question.
--> Is EUP Menu Required (It's Obsolete)?
No. EUP Menu is not required, but it's recommended for easier navigation for uniform selection.
--> I Loaded LSPDFR, But EUP Badge Props Are Not Working Correctly?
You launched LSPDFR with force duty using the RAGE Console. You must go on duty at any police station marked on the map, and select the department you desire.
--> I Loaded LSPDFR, But Insignia (Ranks) Are Not Working Correctly?
You launched LSPDFR with no internet connection, or the servers of LSPDFR are down. Ensure you have an internet connection and the servers of LSPDFR are up and running before reporting this issue.
--> My Menus Conflict After Loading LSPDFR During The Duty Selection Menu.
You did not wait long enough before proceeding to the next menu. You must wait until LSPDFR, and all plugins are loaded before proceeding into the duty selection menu.
Your screen will be clear of notifications, and pop-ups indicating LSPDFR has fully loaded.
--> Do I Need The K9s?
No. K9s are built into Ultimate Backup already and will default to SHEPHERD if no settings are present.
Vests are not included within Ultimate Backup, but my modification has configurations enabling the vests made by martinct.
--> Can I Play Using More Than One Map At A Time?
NO! LSPDFR will crash if you try to load or install more than 1 custom map at a time. It's recommended to only enable North Yankton if you want to play there (and vice versa). Be sure to not have any other maps loaded or installed before attempting to do so.
--> I Want To Change My Settings - How Do I Do This?

sinusphi reacted to vladislav0 in LSPDFR for GTA 5 EnhancedHello! I am a LSDPFR user from Russia, I love your modification, it is simply amazing. I used to play the standard GTA 5 Legacy all the time, but with the release of GTA 5 Enhanced I noticed that the Legacy edition began to work worse. Maybe it is due to the fact that Rockstar Games is working hard on the new version. I do not know. Maybe it is because of my computer, although before the release of the new version of the game everything worked great. But this is not the point of my question. My main question is, will you make LSPDFR for GTA 5 Enhanced? Enhanced is more stable, more optimized, it has more FPS, it crashes less. I am really looking forward to your mod in the new version of the game.
Thank you!

sinusphi reacted to zach016 in Please Help (LSPDFR Custom Agencies)That will have the game use the standard cop model (or whatever variation of it that you have installed overtop). However, it will spawn with any of the available components (So for example, short sleeve and long sleeved versions will both spawn.
You have to specify the components, as noted above, if you only want specific versions of it to spawn (For example, short sleeve variations).
As for the skin itself, I find the easiest way to overwrite existing models is to use albo's modding dlc pack, so you don't have to track down which specific patch last overwrote the basic cop model, or any other model.
-
sinusphi reacted to zach016 in Please Help (LSPDFR Custom Agencies)Not sure I fully understand what exactly you're looking to do, however to make vehicles choose-able from the garage, all you need to do is add the vehicle to the loadout of an agency in the agency.xml
If it is an existing agency, it will already be selectible. If it is a custom agency, you need to edit the duty_selection.xml
Now, your vehicle will be selectable, however it's name will be the same as the model name. To give it a proper name, simply add it to the <VehicleDescriptions></VehicleDescriptions> section of the duty_selection.xml. A simple copy/paste/edit job of one of the existing entries will do the trick.
-
sinusphi reacted to zach016 in Please Help (LSPDFR Custom Agencies)This actually gets a little harder to explain, the deeper down the rabbit hole you go. Much of this can be done with the use of the custom folder, however im just going to describe straight edits.
You can modify existing agencies/create new ones by editing the Agency.xml
Each Agency needs one or more loadouts. These are where you specify the Clothing and Vehicles. (Check LSPD entry for how to set up EUP type models)
Alright, so at this point we have our custom agency, but we want it to spawn ingame.
In the regions.xml, we can define a custom set of zones for our new agency. (LSPDFR wiki will direct you to what each zone encompases)
Next, we need to edit the backup.xml This is where we will define our custom agency to spawn in our custom region.
We only need to worry about Local Patrol to have the units spawn, however if your custom region does not overlap with an existing region (Which would only happen if you remove zones from existing regions), you may wish to define the custom region in the rest of the entries in the backup.xml, so the game will send the correct back-up when requested to the region.
I know it looks a little messy, just give a shout about any particular area that needs a little more explanation.
-
sinusphi reacted to TreadRed in How do i create a Custom agency ?And if you really want a custom agency, then copy Agency_lspd, paste is somewhere else, change the name of the file, and paste is back, then do exactly as I told you above in the first paragraph, along with changing the scriptname. So if you change the scriptname to <scriptname>nypd</scriptname> then you have created a custom agency. You now have to add that agencies scriptnames into the backup.xml, duty_selection.xml, and stations.xml in lspdfr>data.
If you add nypd to the lossantoscity region in the backup.xml, then those units will patrol and respond in that region.
If you wanna know what region that covers you look in the regions.xml
And if those zones are jibberish to you then refer to this fileZones reference.txt
And if you wanna know where those zones are here you go
If you decide to move zones around make sure you delete it from where you moved it from or its going to be messy.
Duty_selection.xml is what you see when at a station going on duty, choosing cars and outfits. if the agency (nypd) is in <Peds> then you will see the option to choose from that agency when going on duty. If its in <vehicles> then diddo. the vehicle desciptions is what the game will name the cars as when choosing. name then whatever, just make sure whatever vehicle you add to the agency of nypd has a description here. Specify which agency the vehicle is for by placing the scriptname in agencyref.
The stations file determines which peds and vehicles will be parked and standing around the stations, add the scriptname to wherever should be placed.
Then you have done it. Now if you want custom NYPD outfits then you need to install them. Find out where they are in the closet at your apartment and write down the numbers of the locations. example is ID 3 is shirts, drawable is what shirt "54" and the texture of the shirt "2". Then copy outfits_lspd, copy it, change the name, paste it back, trim it down a bit Im sure you wont have 10 outfits. Paste the numbers in that you wrote down and change the names up.
Sciptname is what you will refer to in the agency file
-
sinusphi reacted to TreadRed in How do i create a Custom agency ?All you have to do is change the name of the Agency, It doesn't have to be named Los Santos Police Department. You change the name of the agency and the name of the loadouts. You can change the shortname also.
Like literally, just change the name. easy as 123

sinusphi reacted to VPDPO190 in how to set up diffrent divisionsIt is possible. I am starting to learn this myself and beginning to figure it out, but if you are not careful you can crash your game. Look in your lspdfr/data folder. There are a bunch of XML files in there that can be edited to get what you want. In addition, you will see a custom folder where you can place custom agency files. It took me a lot of trial and error to get this working right, but now that I am starting to figure it out, I am starting to get it to what I like.
My first suggestion is to backup all those files in the lspdfr/data folder and lspdfr/data/custom folder if it exists. What files are in these folder will vary if you have EUP installed (recommended) because EUP will also try to match the uniforms with the cars.
The folder should have XMLs for Regions, Backup, Duty_Selection, inventory and stations. All these can be edited for a more immersive experience, but it can get overwhelming so let's start small. The regions file defines what "zones" are in each region. By default there are regions for Los Santos City, LS County,Blaine County as well as a some of the special regions like the jail, airport, parks, etc.
My suggestion to get started and how I got started, it to try to get custom cars/peds patrolling Blaine first since it is already defined as a region.
Look in the custom folder for a XML titled agency_bcso.xml. If you have it open it up and look at it. That is where you can define what cars patrol Blaine County. Substitute sheriff and sheriff2 for your custom cars. That alone should get them patrolling Blaine County. I would start with that simple change first but once you learn how these files work it can get extremely interesting.
Again BACKUP YOUR FILES FIRST. I messed these up several times experimenting and LSPDFR will crash if these files aren't right. But crashing is how I started to learn how these files work.
I am still learning myself, but will be happy to share what I learned. Final note, I have Ultimate Backup installed too. UB has additional files and complicates everything. You can still change the custom agency file and get the cars to patrol ambiently and they will respond as backup from the default backup menu, but won'r respond right if you use the Ultimate Backup menu.
To get started, I recommend you download Jurisdictions+ from here but don't use the DLL, its not needed. Just look at the XML files for the various options. Study them to see if you can begin to understand how they work. That's how I got started. They are well annotated and should help (these files assume EUP and Ultimate backup)
https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/lspdfr-xml-jurisdictions-versions
You can install the map only OIV file and you map will be updated to show the Jurisdictions. I myself use the option 4 map. I don't recommend installing the entire option as an OIV. I think it's better to suffer the pain and do it manually so you can understand what is going on.
Figuring this all out did give me quite a headache, but I am very pleased with how it is coming along and I am still working on it.
As an example of how complex you can get this
So far I have Port Authority Police patrolling the airport and Terminal area (no need for two separate department here).
Paleto Bay patrolling Paleto Bay
Blaine patrolling all of Blaine, including Paleto (50/50 with Paleto)
LSSD patrolling just their county (sometimes they wander into the dessert too)
University PD patrolling Richman along with LSPD (its really just 1 or two streets but it looks cool)
Park Ranger patrolling Mt. Chilliad with a 15% chance they can show up as backup in Paleto Bay and a 70% chance that Blaine will back up the ranger
SAHP patrolling all the highways
Blaine SWAT and K9 will respond in Blaine including Mt. Chilliad
I am going to create a Grapeseed PD and then create a chance they can show up as backup in Sandy Shores (Mutual Aid)
But I found out the hard way. A simple math error in setting the probabilities and it crashes.
So far I have just been working on the cars with default uniforms so for now SSPD and Paleto use BCSO uniforms, but Port Authority has PAPD uniforms thanks to EUP. Once I get brave and more competent, I will start to give each department their own uniform.
To be honest the only thing that is missing is I wish there was a way to limit the number of units from a single agency. It would be really great if I could limit Sandy Shores to just 2 units and if I requested more backup it would come from the county or Grapeseed.

sinusphi reacted to TheHC09 in How do I remove the flashing taillights? You can do it manually or there might be a mod called Tailight flash removal. To do it manually, you need to download carcols.xml from the OpenIV team on GTA5Mods.com. Then open it in Notepad and Replace All "1431655765" and "2863311530" and replace all to "0". This turns off taillight flashing. Save and replace carcols in update.rpf\x64\data in OpenIV.
