  1. Is there a way to disable police events. It happens pretty commonly when a random police officer initiates a chase and starts firing his service weapon on the pursuing vehicle. This happens in the vanilla version in general and its annoying as all hell breaks loose. Is there a way to disable police events? Let me know if you guys want me to clarify. FYI: I'm not talking about LSPDFR although it effects my LSPDFR gameplay and its annoying as hell.
  2. I was in Charlotte a couple months back and I saw Charlotte-Mecklenburg responding. Hate to say this but I totally forgot the type of siren they used :\
  3. I still have yet, to receive some support.
  4. Hello fellas, I am able to successfully play LCPDFR in GTA IV and TBOGT. However, in TLAD when I call backup and right when the backup police car spawns I crash, and even in pursuits if a police car gets into pursuit right away I crash, and I get the message "EFLC has stopped working" I've already reinstalled it multiple times, run as administrator, no other existing mods just lcpdfr. Strangely it works well in TBOGT but not in TLAD since I have EFLC in the same file. Is there any fix for this to stop crashes so I can play in TLAD? Been playing LCPDFR for almost four years and I've rarely played TLAD since now i just got into it. Description of Crash/Problem: TLAD Crashes when calling for backup or when a backup unit engages in pursuit What Version of LCPDFR: 1.1 What Version of GTA IV/EFLC: 1.1.2.0 What Extra Mods are Installed: Just LCPDFR and Simple Native Trainer Attached Error Logs (lcpdfr.log, AdvancedHook.log)
  5. Hahaha that made my day, I still doubt it'll be enough to help Detroit.
  6. I hate to break it to ya but I don't think Detroit is going to be the same unless some major company would contribute to city growth again. Look at Flint on the other hand, the city is crumbling apart at a point where they resorted using the Flint River and messed up the entire tap with toxic waste since the old lead pipes were leeched with corrosive Flint water. The switched back to the original Detroit water but the damage has been done it's going to take many years for the pipes to be replaced, which by the time the city would probably be a Ghost town since more Flint residents are leaving from the water crisis. I don't even think donations and contributing support is enough to help broken Flint. I didn't mean that I'll take that back. I meant that the EMT should take a defensive side with some sort of weapons not clearing scenes lol xD
  7. That video you've seen, I've already seen it probably last year and I think this vid was posted around 2011-2013ish. Detroit Police Department has since, received new vehicles. http://www.policemag.com/channel/vehicles/news/2013/03/25/private-companies-donate-100-vehicles-to-detroit-pd.aspx and if you guys ever watched Nightwatch which I've seen this horrific scene on assault on EMTs, which is EMTs that face on a regular basis: When I was watching one of nutnfancy's videos of his son going down on his bike long time ago, this is an armed fire personal that caught my eye. I stress that fire and emt should have at least a defensive weapon to protect themselves and their coworkers since assaults are very common and they are first responders like police officers, such as less lethals = tasers, batons, pepper spray, etc. and certification for carrying a firearm. I swear its annoying have an EMT or FIRE wait for POLICE for them to clear the scene

  10. Yep! Honestly even though I grew up with some grudges or hate (which is natural) and you wanna run away and move to another state, your gonna end up missing the state you grew up in just like I did.

  12. Nah you didn't scare me. I found your reply hilarious at a point I re-read it over like 9x. This is a challenge that I'm currently facing with my future goal plans. I actually have alot of thoughts to move back to Illinois because I miss the community I live and grew up in. Yes, Illinois is a very strict state (we were less state to carry concealed but still limited to carrying in specific areas or buildings). We need a FOID to carry a Taser wuttt?!?! (Something I still do not get :\). Since my goal is to be a future law enforcement officer, I have plans to move back after I graduate college (I got a year or two left before I finish) since the salary is alot higher vs the standard living (housing, tax, etc.) I'm from a suburban town called Naperville, Illinois. Feel free to google Naperville and see how it is. God damn, I miss my best friend and the others I know well :( I think South Carolina is different from North Carolina. I've been there once 7 years ago and yes, people say hi to you everywhere you go. I've even had people tell me back home the exact same thing xD
  13. That's very true. But yeah I agree and I'll also admit that sometimes I have to be on guard. In this society there will be stupidity that will exist regardless of any type of environment. I was actually in San Francisco for a vacation three weeks ago and I wouldn't honestly be surprised if some horrible random thing happened. In fact, there was an incident on the bus I was taking from Chinatown to Pier 39 when a random homeless guy got out of nowhere, stopped the bus, and demanded the bus to give him a ride. He got ANGRY once the bus driver declined that he entered the bus and started pounding on the bus door. It was scary but luckily the homeless guy moved on and the bus just drove off and nothing further happened. There is really no exact percentage of a chance that danger will approach you, regarding what you stated above that we can't prepare for everything even though 99.999% of the time we come home safe but that number of percentage can change randomly. Some people rare or never dealt with dangerous or physical confrontations and some others have dealt with it multiple times. I greatly appreciate the eye opener on your sources ^^^ since I myself are keen to such stories
