  2. For what its worth, I've tired using Callouts+ myself but either I'm not patient enough or I have a problem as well as all I get are the same callouts again and again XD.

  4. Are you running any other scripts? And are you able to upload a the LCPDFR diagnostics log, or is the tool still not working for you?
  5. Callouts+ was built around 1.0d it might be worth posting on the developers thread to let him know.
  6. You can edit how often callouts happen in the LCPDFR settings. go to the GTA IV main folder then LCPDFR folder and then click on the LCPDFR Diagnostics tool, then click on Configure LCPDFR. If you click on the third tab (Advanced Settings), it allows you to increase or decrease the rate of callouts.
  7. Did you delete the savegame.fr file as well? Usually I delete that and the oldsession.fr file and it fixes the problem. Also the I use the vdh mods as well, but because they are not longer being updated they can cause the crashes as well.

  10. Excellent idea! Can't wait for this to be released =D
  11. So am I because like LMS said according to the logs LCPDFR is loading fine, the only thing I can suggest is you verify the intergrity of the game cache through Steam and unistall LCPDFR and re-install it are you using the most recent version of LCPDFR because there was a hotfix update a few days ago.
  12. I think they look brilliant well done. My only critisism is the light bar on the CPVI it looks wrong I'm sure it was red and blue and it wasn't in the NYPD style

  14. Yeah I tried doing that but failed miserably, I've discovered that I suck at photoediting lol. Yeah like I said on my O/P I clicked on Cj24's profile to send him a PM and it said the following "I don't take requests and I won't give any unlocked parts out. Terms for all of my modifications uploaded before 2014: No permission is required for using, editing or uploading any of my mods, correct credits have to be given and please provide a link to the original download. Any commercial or by laws prohibited use is forbidden. Please don't message me asking for permission, the terms mentioned above apply even though the readmes might say you need permission." So as far as I'm concerned we have permission =D
  15. When I say incorporated I don't mean they literaly copied the mod that existed, I just mean they added ALPR/ANPR to LCPDFR. I doubt they would be able to add the K-9 script easily and maybe not the Police helper, but the Tow Service and Coroner don't seem to be that complicated. Either way I figure if you don't ask you don't get even if its a simpler version of any or all of the above mods I'd be happy =D
  16. Hey Ian thanks for replying, basically I was thinking for the Tahoe because the roof is white where the space is between the unit number and the lightbar a big K-9 in black lettering would be nice, and on the sides towards the rear where the black parts are, next to the 911 in white a similar sized K-9 Unit decal would be nice. For the CVPI I would say the same as the Tahoe although I'm not sure you can fit it on the roof, you might be able to draw inspiration by this CVPI made by Bxbugs123. Again thank you for helping =) EDIT: If you want to have a look at the vehicle itself it can be found here http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=972 EDIT 2: I forgot to mention, the K-9 Script doesn't effect the skin, it basically spawns a ped which has a dog skin which is imported when you install the mod, you can then adjust the position of the ped with an in game editor provided by the mod, which is why I'm not using the below vehicle model as it already has a dog there as part of the skin.
  17. Hi guys, I've been using the black and white LCPD texture created by CJ24 for some time now. I was going to send him a PM asking permission if I could have someone modify one of his liveries to add a K-9 unit livery for the Tahoe and CVPI but his profile states that he is happy for people to modify his work. So I was wondering would someone be able to modify one of the four liveries on the Tahoe and CVPI to add a K-9 unit insignia on it? Minor detail if you are willing to do this, please don't add a K-9 texture in the back as I am using the vDH K-9 mod. This is the link to the skins I am refering to: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Thank you in advance
  18. It could be worth trying a clean install of the game just in case some file is corrupted or maybe something is missing? Either way I hope you get it fixed soon.
  19. Sorry buddy I wasn't ignoring you, but because you didn't quote my post the website didn't notify me of your reply. Try the following and let me know if it fixes your problem, by either replying to my post or just marking it as solved. Turn off or disable any Antivirus (AV) program you are using, unfortunately AV's don't seem to like LCPDFR as well as several other scripts this can cause the loader not to load. Then go to the GTAIV main folder and right click on LaunchGTAIV.exe, click on properties and then compatibility, select Run this program in compatibility mode with Windows 7 after that at the bottom select the Run as Administrator check box. Finaly start your game and see if that worked.
  20. Have you tried this? '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
