  1. Is development of SmartRadio still on hold Albo? If so, I guess I'll go back to the old radio. Can't wait any longer to do some LSPDFR.|
  2. Not a problem Mr. Runt Thanks for the Steam friend request.
  3. Love your content Runt. Happy to see another retired LEO brother in LSPDFR. Hit me up on Steam if you ever need a coop partner in games or just want to talk. I was a school police officer for a local county Sheriff's Dept (3rd shift, B&E/Robbery Division) http://steamcommunity.com/id/WoolyBug/
  4. No offense, but people might not understand what you wrote on how to install. You need to explain it for people who never used the map editor, or might not even have any idea what the map editor is or how to access it.
  5. Quick Question: In the second video (The Sheriff Dept), why are the textures on the windows flashing? Is that an issue with an ENB mod you're using, the Captain 14 models or the texture pack?
  6. Is this mod dead? Is there a way to make mods that work with newer Rage hooks without having to 'fix' anything?
  7. Nice model, but the rear/interior is way too sparse. Needs overhead light, Defib/heart monitor, oxygen tanks, tubes, lots and lots of stuff. Here's some interior shots:
  8. General Motors will cease production of its Chevrolet Caprice police sedan after building the rear-wheel drive patrol car for six model years in Australia. Law enforcement agenices can submit orders for 2017 Caprice PPV (Police Patrol Vehicle) sedans through the end of February, said Rita Kass-Shamoun, a GM Fleet spokesperson. The Caprice PPV has been a top performer at Michigan and California police vehicle testing, but has seen slower adoption since its introduction as a 2011-model-year vehicle due to longer order-to-deliver times. A typical timeframe was about four months in 2012. Law enforcement agencies also began a shift toward purchasing pursuit-rated SUV models, and the Caprice PPV lagged behind sales of the Tahoe PPV. GM only sold a fleet version of the Caprice, but sold the Chevrolet SS sister vehicle to retail buyers. The SS will also be phased out. General Motors has been producing the Caprice PPV at its Holden manufacturing plant in Adelaide, Elizabeth, Australia. It was known as the Holden Caprice in that country. GM is ending vehicle production in Australia, and will remain in the country with sales and marketing operations, spare parts organization, design studios, and an ongoing engineering department, the company said in October. http://www.government-fleet.com/channel/law-enforcement/news/story/2017/01/gm-to-discontinue-chevrolet-caprice-ppv.aspx
  9. Whoa, whoa, you need check yourself. I was only asking a question based on this in his description " Added ELS Style Lighting by DroidRZRLover " To someone new to ELS, this makes it sound like it uses ELS. Stop judging people from one honest question. I wasn't saying anything negative to him, I was just saying I prefer non-ELS stuff.
  10. I would love to buddy. My wife however, would kill me if I had another monthly bill for gaming :( I'll just be patient and wait.
  11. Any ETA on this? Been waiting for this before I start my Youtube series.
  12. Was going to download as I was looking for NON-Els cars, and this showed up in the search. Then I saw this in description: Added ELS Style Lighting by DroidRZRLover Am I the only one who doesn't want to be bothered with ELS?
  13. I know the extra modes and features will not work, but if I download an ELS police car for LSPDFR, will it's sirens and lights still works like default police and still make traffic move over?
  14. I hate to be this guy. I know ELS took a LOT of work. And, it runs and looks great. But... (So sorry) I hate the way ELS splits the mod community. Back when LSPDFR was for GTA IV it got harder and harder to find any quality cars that didn't require ELS to work correctly. I think that would be a shame for that to happen again. Now, if I am wrong here, please correct me, but if a car uses ELS, that means it HAS to have ELS correct? If so, I hope the devs that make add-ons/cars/etc don't start requiring ELS on everything or at least make non ELS variations because some of us do not need nor want to added complexity. I understand what ELS is trying to do, and I can see the need for it in certain situations, but with all the right add-ons added for LSPDFR to make it a good facsimile of reality it is already pretty hard to come up with a control scheme / button layout that doesn't conflict with other mods. Now, adding ELS is going to throw more complexity and conflicts with pre-existing key set-ups.
Really nice textures. It rare I find a texture I like without any alterations. this is one of those times. Really like the White based and grey ones.
  15. Need any testors? (guy with a lot of freetime) ;)
  16. This come with a template or does it use the standard CVPI templates?
  17. I had posted this in the general LSPDFR suggestion forum but someone said I should post it here so it would get more exposure: Make it so suspects react when you find illegal contraband on them using the ped or vehicle searches?A lot of times in real life, a suspect will be calm and compliant UNTIL you pull that dime bag out of their pocketsor find the crack pipe under the seat. Other times they are fine right up until you get the cuffs out.Other times it could be when they have taken a breathalyzer and it comes back positive. But, then, once they realize their freedom is about to go away, the fight or flight response kicks in and Boom, they try to flee or fight.Mr. Calm and Collected goes from being nice Joe Q. Public to a chicken with it's head cut-off. All you got to do if you have no LEO experience to see this is watch just about any episode of COPS. Almost 90% of the time the idiot suspects follow the same logic. I don't know enough about how the scripting in lspdfr works to know, so would some sortof behavior AI add-on be able to be made that can detect when the officer finds something illegalor detect when officer is getting ready to cuff them to trigger a possible (say 50/50 chance) fight or fight response? If this isn't possible, sorry for wasting your time, but I think this would go a long way to making lspdfr more realistic, dangerous and exciting.
  18. What is the newest patch file? Patchday9ng? How would one make sure they are using the latest patch file (to overwrite default files)? Can't use date because Steam marks all files as same date whenever game is updated.
