Have you installed any mods with OpenIV lately and perhaps placed them in your non-mods folder by any chance?

Most likely the mods folder or simply a random occurrence. Doing what I said above should help.

Sounds like the average UB NPC behaviour to me. Unless there are settings in the ini that alter felony stop behaviour itself, you can’t do much. I’d edit the amount of felony stop backup and reduce it to one or two units.

Do you have a mods folder? If so, rename it to __mods and retry.

In theory yes if the GTA is still on the same version as the one the modded files were made for. I’d recommend you create a second installation of the game and rename the folder accordingly to what you want to play. That way you have a clean install for GTA online (which I assume you’re wanting to play?) and one for modded GTA V.

Additionally to what cherryaerie said, the next update will be a bit of a different one. Rockstar seems to be having two branches of the game with one being called legacy. It might be too much to guess but I have a feeling the update won’t break the mods on the legacy branch of the game.

GrammarPolice is one of the better plugins out there as well. If you don’t like the idea of talking to the dispatcher, you can still use the police smart radio-like on screen radio. BetterHitReactions makes the game more interesting as well. Alternatively use Deadly Weapons. I also like immersive effects. It requires some menu customisation if you’re unhappy with the base values. The developer Faya also uploaded cuff the deceased (I think that was the name?!) and plain sight. ImmersiveAmbientEvents I can recommend too. If you want more let me know what you are exactly looking for.

Be careful when uninstalling the game via the Rockstar Games Launcher. Any files unrelated to GTA will stay in the folder and you need to manually clean the install directory. Best is to simply delete the entire folder in windows file explorer directly.

You can also manually copy over the folder in the windows file explorer.

Start Rage and click on the cog icon ⚙️. Set the displayed number from 10000 to 60000. Try again with _mods renamed. If that works try with mods.

Something in your mods folder prevents the game from loading. Make sure you have a gameconfig installed as well as the heap and packfile limit adjuster. If that still doesn’t help, you’ll have to revert recent changes made to your mods folder or create a completely new one.

Frequently crashing when doing exactly that? Or could it be a random one. I only see the mods folder possibly causing a crash here.

Your request is a bit hard to understand. Do you want one car to have multiple liveries or two separate liveries for two different cars?

Try to rename mods to _mods and play for a bit. If that helps, it’s one of your mods causing your frequent crashes. Your topic has been moved to GTA V Support, this is not LSPDFR related. Please post in the correct location in the future.

Before we have the updated version in our hands nobody can say for certain. We’ll have to see what the modding possibilities are like with the new branch. As cherryaerie said, they seem to keep two separate versions and the current version is already labelled as „GTA V legacy“ in the rockstar games launcher.
